I stopped in at 4pm on Thursday afternoon & I was immediately greeted & helped by a nice employee. He quickly ascertained that he could buy one wetsuit & the weights, but the other wetsuit was a little too vintage for him to buy. I opted to donate it with him. After a quick check of my ID & a confirmation that I wanted cash, the process was complete & I walked out with cash in hand in less than 15 minutes. When I first moved to PB ten years ago, we bought beach cruisers here, as they have an interesting and varied selection of bikes that are well-priced. They also have tons of other new & used sporting equipment including baseball, softball, golf, water sports, pickleball, tennis, golf & more! This a a great store for both your pocket & the planet! This store is the outlet edition of their other stores so when we walked in, we saw tons of signs on the racks saying there are sales. Many were worth looking into. I wanted to get a wetstuit for the first time and was guided by the friendly and chill staff on what the differences were between a 4/3 (4mm torso/3mm limbs, better mobility for cool water) and a 5/3 (more core warmth for colder water, slightly stiffer) wetsuit. The prices here are definitely on the pricier side ($200-500), but I was able to get a good 5/3 wetsuit deal for about 120$. I'm excited to try it out. Fittings rooms are reasonable size. I felt like a seal when I was able to fully try one on. Lots of great selections to look at!!! My girlfriend wanted to get a bikini on the sale, but lots of the tops and bottoms were missing each other counterparts.

We learned about Soul Grind and were told all of our options since this was our first time buying a skateboard. We have zero experience. Like, nobody in our family has ever ridden a skateboard prior to our visit to this store. The shop is small but has everything any skateboard enthusiast needs. I learned that most skateboard shops are really clothes and accessories retail stores with a spatter of actual skate boards. Soul Grind has exactly what they advertise...Skateboards. With Olivia's help, and with much attention to detail, we chose a beautiful black board with red wheels. The beach vibe is at high tide. Service is outstanding, with Lance, Charlie, and their cool boss Ella. I bought a pair of black dungaree shorts and they are as nice an' comfy as Levi's, for about $45. They also sell surfboards and ukuleles too. Next, I went a couple years ago and they did a little running test with me to see which way my ankles lean when I run, and that was so helpful because they picked out the right shoe for me. Then fast forward to today, it's about two or three years later, I still have these shoes I bought back then, and I can tell that I will need to start transitioning into some other shoes soon, and I only want to go back to this store. I don't think that they mark up their shoes too much and truly I'm glad I bought these for the price they were, and I know that I'm just going to get friendly service with them with zero pressure. These shoes have lasted years and aren't done yet, so about $150 upfront cost, but will save me so much in the future of buying shoes that hurt, breakdown and need replacing often. I will absolutely be coming back in the next couple weeks because I appreciate them so much. Here is a picture of the shoes I got a few years ago, and even though they've seen some wear (and by that I mean many many many miles in not only running, but mostly walking)they've held up so well and shown me that investing in great sneakers helps my whole body feel great. This place is wonderful. I was about 27 then, active through work but not a runner. I'm 31 now, I lift weights and run a mile or two once a week and I use these for everything from cardio, to weights, to volleyball(not meant for it but they work) to walking on concrete all day for work. I've come into this shop multiple times with my children and nephews and have witnessed multiple times people of other races or those who don't fit the stereotypical look of a 'skater' who are treated completely different to my children and myself, in that they are completely ignored, not helped at all, or given a horrible attitude and judge mental looks towards. This is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I will not be coming into this business any longer and will not be recommending it to anyone, and neither will my husband who works in the skateboarding industry. Avoid this place and don't support this business. They have no respect for anyone and have no business running a lemonade stand, let alone a skateboarding shop.
