Nice little shop with everything you need for the beach. Their prices are reasonable and they really do have EVERYTHING. Love this little shop and will be back again whenever we are near. Fun stuff, beach stuff, and just what every beach area needs. I see everyone posting "You wouldn't know that it was a clothing shop or a gift shop unless you went inside". Whatever. I knew just by walking by and seeing clothing in the window that it was exactly the kind of shop I was looking for... regional touristy beach stuff. "San Diego" hoodies and shirts, "Pacific Beach" caps, hats, and trinkets, gift shop items and regular "non-touristy" beach wear and clothing as well as basic body boards, beach and pool toys. You usually find these shops in beach areas and they are usually reasonably priced, not the overpriced labeled wear. So yeah, it's a fun shop, not a lot of super cheap stuff, but reasonable items at reasonable prices. Great find! read more

This store has so many options for Pacific Beach apparel but the owner is not nice. She scolded me when I asked if the sweatshirts shrunk. I mean like poo poo'd me big time I was like the heck lady, I'm just trying to know what sizes to get. She was annoyed with me because I was taking so long to decide, I was torn! LIBRA here. Anyways, I asked a second time very nicely if the sweatshirts shrunk and she was done with me at this point. What a great family owned gift shop they have great selection of item I got a great shark teet way frame and some anklets and some puka shell necklaces for my nieces. Great to get zip up hoodies, cause everyone could use these and some very unique souvenirs to take home for everyone love coming here, came back twice and love the mother and father that run this place. I scored a rare parking spot on the street and was waiting for a friend to join me at Kono's Cafe for breakfast, so I decided to check out this little store. They charge you a different price than the list price of the item and don't give a receipt. When you try to bring the item back 5 minutes later they claim that you didn't buy the product from them and they never saw you before. Ananas is a unique little gift shop located on Garnet Ave. You'll find it nestled between Kono's Cafe and Urban Outfitters. The establishment doesn't have a sign, but its fluorescent green paint job will make it hard to miss on the road. You might not know that it's a gift shop at first, but the store owners like to display some of their merchandise out on the street to clue you in. It's quaint little store, that is surprisingly filled with a lot of beach products. Honestly, if you forget any of your beach essentials such as sun screen, towels, even your bathing suit -- I promise you will find it here. The place never seems to be low on stock on any of their merchandise. Aside from the typical beach wear and souvenirs that you'll find at most gift shops in PB, this store actually carries some fashionable clothes and accessories. They sell dresses, belts, shorts, hats, sunglasses, fashion jewelry, and an assortment of handbags and totes and etc. I tend to frequent this store since the owners actually add something new to their stock every month or so. Which adds even more variety to their establishment. The store does feel a little cramped since they sell a lot of items here, the shelves are jam -packed full of goods. But personally I don't mind, because that means I can always find what I need at this store and the staff is always willing to help you out when you have questions. If you're from out of town and you're in the area, take some time to look through this shop. Who knows you might find something unique and interesting to take back home with you. :) read more

Loved this place. Was there for my Anniversary and with all the relaxation we did I forgot to get some souvenirs. They were just around the corner from the Hotel. After the clerk ran my credit card,I was told the machine was not working..I wrote a check believing that was correct..Now I received my credit card statement and was charged for my purchase ..Today I see my bank statement and the check also cleared..so I paid twice...This is really not good since this a tourist area and that constitutes out of town visitors..nice smear for Pacific Beach Folks! read more
