Rented 2 surf boards for half day. Returned 1 within and hour and the second 1 within 2 hours since my kids ended up not liking it. Asked if I could just be charged for 2 hours instead of half day since we returned them before 2 hours and was told no. Since they offer a 2 hour rental I felt they should have only charged me that and not the half day even though I thought we would want them half day originally. read more

They literally have rentals for everything you could want to use at the beach! We recently rented surf boards with wetsuits for 2 hours and it was such a great price! For $25 I was able to rent a foam board and wetsuit, and they took care of sizing me for both! The staff there were a pleasure to work with and offered great suggestions for the best places to surf nearby. They were also incredibly friendly and very flexible with the rentals. I surprised my husband for Valentine's Day with a stay at the south side rental. We loved it and had a great time! Amy and Benny are the hosts you dream of! Everything we needed was in our cozy/romantic room. It felt like the perfect size apartment for my husband and our dog! Over the weekend we rented bikes and paddle boards and walked them right to the beach/board walk. They have a great location (across the street from VPN's if you want to stay in and cook or surrounded by array of restaurants) great surf shop and an awesome airBnB rentals! Aside from the backpacks, I dropped off a board for consignment a few years ago and almost forgot about it. Decided to check up and learned it had been sold and they just couldn't reach me. I had an issue with a purchase I made. I made a dumb choice in buying a pair of sunglasses that didn't look good me. I came back a couple of days later to see if I could exchange them. Legally with sunglasses you are not allowed to do that in California. After talking with the manager and the salesmen we worked something out that was very very fair. The manager took care of me at the end of the day and I left very pleased from my experience. I highly recommended this place, NOT CORPORATE AMERICA. LOVE IT. read more

I rented a couple stand up paddle boards from them on Groupon on memorial day. They were amazing great customer service I was in and out $40.00 for 2 boards for 3 hours. It was a blast and the 3 guys working there were so pleasant and hilarious while we signed our waivers. I will rent from them again :) read more
