I came here for the first time yesterday and I've never really been all that fit but I felt like I…read moreneeded inspiration so I tried on some shorts and couldn't decide between two so I asked for the salesperson's opinion (his name is Isaac) and he helped me choose the sexier one. Basically, the old me would have gone the safer route but thanks to Isaac, I have a little more confidence now and I'm more motivated to get fit. And then I came back today to get the ones I didn't get yesterday as well as some other underwear. Long story short, the staff is so professional and so sweet, and the product itself is amazing. Yes, it can get expensive, but if you're like me and need a confidence boost, their underwear and swimwear not only make you look better but feel better too.

I ran close to 4 miles and both my feet were numb by the time I returned from my very sweaty and hot run. CorePower Yoga was on site giving away 20% manager special if you sign up for membership or class package. They also raffled off one really nice Manduka yoga mat. DJ was super fun and played lots of great tunes and super funny. After the run, they fed us wraps from Falafel Heights. I had my falafel wrap later, pita outside was too dry. They also raffled off many other items but I won nothing. Overall, this was a great event and I love coming here for their events. One day, eventually, I'll purchase something!

The sales person did say, "We're like a restaurant, you have to check in first." There were two people ahead of me and it was quite a wait. I did do some homework online and did the 3 minute Fit Analysis, so I had my shoe recommendations ready. Once it was my turn, the person who helped me was super nice and helpful. Unfortunately only 1 pair out of the 3 shoes from my Fit Analysis that had a black shoe. I didn't want to order and get the shoes shipped so I chose the Hoka Clifton 11. Of course, they try to upsell by grabbing several different pairs of socks to pair with your shoes. But I politely declined since they're quite pricey. Overall, quite pleased with my purchase and got a discount due to my membership. Knocked down a few stars due to the wait.

They had several Torqs surfboards to rent so my boyfriend and I tried 2. You can rent up to like 3 boards same day for price of $10 per person which is a steal. Last time I tried before I buyed was like a $35 rental and although I did end up getting that board and love it, $10 is so cheap in comparison. All you need is to leave a credit card or ID for your rental, and just one per party. You also sign some paperwork and you're good to go. Recommend you come at 10am when they open so you get access to all of their boards.

They answered all of our newbie questions and pointed us in the right direction to try and surf. We each rented wetsuits ($15 for half-day) and a soft top surfboard ($10/hr) and we were on our way! The rentals were great quality and we enjoyed surfing for 2 hours by the dog beach (just north of lifeguard tower 5). Will definitely be back again whenever we have visitors that want to surf!!

This store is the outlet edition of their other stores so when we walked in, we saw tons of signs on the racks saying there are sales. Many were worth looking into. I wanted to get a wetstuit for the first time and was guided by the friendly and chill staff on what the differences were between a 4/3 (4mm torso/3mm limbs, better mobility for cool water) and a 5/3 (more core warmth for colder water, slightly stiffer) wetsuit. The prices here are definitely on the pricier side ($200-500), but I was able to get a good 5/3 wetsuit deal for about 120$. I'm excited to try it out. Fittings rooms are reasonable size. I felt like a seal when I was able to fully try one on. Lots of great selections to look at!!! My girlfriend wanted to get a bikini on the sale, but lots of the tops and bottoms were missing each other counterparts.

I've been meaning to get around to getting it patched and fixed up as a legacy board so I could hang it as a piece to remember him by. I got home and tried the shorts on (I did not know they had a fitting room at the store!), but they didn't fit. Came back today and John assisted me in exchanging the shorts- ended up getting two pairs of shorts and paid the difference. They usually don't do exchanges or returns (probably because they have the fitting room), but did since I bought the shorts just yesterday. Derek happened to show up and asked if I had made progress on my quest for a wetsuit. I had a great experience here...Derek and John were very helpful and I will definitely be back since I recently moved here to OB. You can't beat a place that has awesome folks who work there along with great products with great prices!

They also like to take advantage of customers who are new to skateboarding and otherwise wouldn't know the actual prices of things, so they overcharge them. I've come into this shop multiple times with my children and nephews and have witnessed multiple times people of other races or those who don't fit the stereotypical look of a 'skater' who are treated completely different to my children and myself, in that they are completely ignored, not helped at all, or given a horrible attitude and judge mental looks towards. This is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I will not be coming into this business any longer and will not be recommending it to anyone, and neither will my husband who works in the skateboarding industry. Avoid this place and don't support this business. They have no respect for anyone and have no business running a lemonade stand, let alone a skateboarding shop.
