The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

They rebuilt our flood damaged home and performed many remodeling upgrades at the same time. They offered sensible solutions and worked around our busy schedules. They cleaned up after every days work and kept us up to date on progress. When we made changes along the way, they took it in stride and offered options to best achieve our goals. Our home was built in 1959 and had unique lath and plaster drywall. The materials are no longer available, but in order to retain the original quality of the home, they found a method that was similar enough to look the same and have the same sound when I did the "knock test". They did many extras, like painting the front sidewalk-"it just didn't look right all chipped up" and made a new side gate as well- at no added charge- because it was the right thing to do. They understood what we were trying to do- bring the house back to original quality and remodel it for sale. To give you an idea of what kind of guys thy are, on the weekends, they volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and use their skills to built homes for the disadvantaged in the Valley. Good souls. Justen's expertise was readily evident as he handled an unexpected wiring issue creatively and in a very professional manner. Adam, site manager, closely supervised the demolition, door installation, electrical, stucco, drywall, and flooring contractors assuring the best job was obtained from each. Justen personally performed any remaining miscellaneous work himself to assure an excellent finished product. My house was ridden with random wall holes in almost every room that seemed to grow every year. In…read moreaddition, I had a prior contractor move a pass through door and subsequently made it way too narrow, so narrow that only a skinny adult or small child could squeeze through. My poor shoulders literally got scratched walking through. Dave and Daren performed the following projects: widened the small doorway and fixed shoddy prior work, patched 8 electrical cut out boxes (old cable/lan lines/tv hidden wire boxes), ceiling light move hole patched, big 10x20" cutout from a plumbing project, float out old drywall repair that had a big vertical seam. He was highly skilled at the patchwork, sheetrock installation/mudding/taping/texture spraying. I appreciated how quickly they worked and the quality of every job. A lot of the work was detailed but also technical in terms of fixing that doorway. They nailed it. In addition, Dave arrived promptly at 7:00am each day as promised, did an immaculate job taping and containing the areas in plastic to ensure no overspray got on my stuff. It is a family owned and run business and pride of ownership is clearly evident. They spent five days painting our 1700sf home and they were painstaking in every detail. They repaired cracking seams in the drywall of our ceiling, filled in dents/small holes in walls, removed blistered paint in the bathroom, caulked gaps in baseboards, and performed every other task necessary to ensure a flawless result. They moved furniture, removed/replaced all blinds and drapes, leaving us to only have to remove hanging items from the walls. They didn't just paint around fixtures, but removed them (wall socket covers, door knobs, etc) to facilitate full coverage. They used top quality paint that perfectly matched our chosen color scheme. Attention to protecting our furniture, floors, cabinets, and other home decor items was impressive. At the end of each day, they straightened everything up, cleaned up and left our home livable. When they were finally done, everything was immaculate; we only had to replace our hanging items to their original locations. I cannot imagine getting more value for our money.
