Shared food court seating, which could get crowded during peak periods, however there is generally plenty available. My craving sort of back fired, as i found the bao lacking in flavor , also it looks pretty bare compared to other peoples - and i didn't opt out of any of the toppings , that I assume should have been in there? - the pork belly itself was soft and melt in your mouth though. There was quite a bit of hype around the chicken, however I found it slightly underwhelming - it didn't have much of the peppery taste, but some pieces were very salty. In terms of portion, I don't exactly feel the value was there, feel like there could have been at least a few more pieces of chicken - but maybe that's just me. May or may not re-visit.

Every member of my family raved about how delicious each bite was, and there was plenty of food for all of us (maybe even too much!) the Sooba Box dish was my favourite... although I have to say the corn cheese was possibly the best I've ever tried!! The staff were attentive and so kind, the decor is cool and bright with funky little touches throughout the restaurant. It is located in the Brentwood Mall food court and is self contained with their own washrooms (I like mentioning that each stall is self contained so they are gender neutral!) We will come back for sure if we are in Burnaby again!!

I tried their Lunch Special - Jeyook rice set. For this dish, I've had better in other Korean restaurants in Vancouver. The waitress said it would be medium spicy -- it was not spicy. The sauce covered up how shredded up and fatty the pork slices were if you really looked. The flavors were just not there. The side dishes were also pretty bland for me and didn't have my usual favorites - it included shredded carrots, a mushroom-like dish, and kimchi that was not memorable. They offer some other items like Sooda Boxes and hot plates with melted cheese, etc that looks photo-worthy and probably would appeal to larger groups to share. Maybe those taste better.

I was impressed that from one corner I spotted theatres, dining options, retailers, banks and a drug store. My favorite area is the huge outdoor plaza. Open sky, seating, dancing fountains and a waterfall. Nice even for pets. Perfect spot for having a coffee. Concierge, gift wrapping, coat and parcel check, escalators and elevators are available to enhance a guest's experience. There is a variety of retailers such as Urban Outfitter, L.L. Bean, Rogers, Sporting Life, Nike, Eyes Inspire and Sephora to name a few. Royal Bank, Van City Credit Union, Canada Post and Dental offices are some of the businesses that have set up shop here too. You have to have dining choices and there are over 30 right now to please the appetite. I've been to Japa Dog, Saboten and Cazba in their deluxe food court. All were surprisingly five star experiences......impressive for a grab and sit down casual meal! Earl's kitchen and Bar, Bow and Stern and Hello Nori are on my radar for my next visit. Pay parking seems to dominate the areas I've parked in my five visits to this center- unless you are visiting a financial institution for under 30 mins or have it validated by certain retailers like London Drugs. Tip: Remember where you parked. All the levels look the same! LOL

I think Amazing Brentwood offers much better value since its opening and their ratings have gone up from 1 star in my books, ever since they updated their parking signage. I appreciate that they improved from their early opening days in 2022/2023. Now, it's easier to find their parking lots with free 3 hour parking and more convenient to pay via scanning of a QR code. In addition, there are four restaurants here that offer complimentary underground parking for 2 hours. Overall I am pleased with their service and they offer good value. It's amazing for convenience where it groups together good shopping brands like Lululemon and Sephora plus reputable Asian and Western cuisine such as Hadilao, Neptune, Earl's, Tap & Barrel, Bow & Stern, and La queria etc all in one location. I would recommend Brentwood for their spacious parking lots, cleaner food court environment, underground parkade on rainy days and for the various restaurants at Brentwood with happy hour options.

There is an extra charge of the sauce bar, about $3 plus dollars. That includes dessert & their yummy congee as part of the sauce bar. There's even a show presentation on a popular Chinese mythology figure, The Monkey God. A thoroughly enjoyable meal. Service is prompt & good, our server Elvis was attentive & most helpful. Trying to reorder meat on their iPad was a bit challenging, there's too many options. We had Elvis helping us with the reordering. You are offered ice cream at the end of your meal too. Bubble waffle: this was the highlight of my meal. It was made fresh...the outside was crispy and the inside was chewy with a sweet eggy flavour.

Big size and very delicious. I'd ask for extra dipping sauce (or the chill oil if you like spicy). These can get messy if you don't be careful. Take a small bite of the skin first and sip the soup inside before diving in. The soup is very hot, so I usually pour it onto a spoon and drink it from there. #13 is translated as "Steamed Mini Pork Buns" in English and Shanghai Xiaolongbao in Chinese on the menu, which is misleading. When I ordered it last time, it turned out to be the same buns as #14, just steamed instead of deep-fried. They're large and not mini at all like traditional XLB. Personally, I didn't enjoy them as much as the fried version and wouldn't order them again. They tend to stick together and aren't very to-go friendly. #14 is the star here, and it's absolutely worth coming back for.
