Their service was great, they worked with my budget and they spent hours going through their inventory to match the right truck for me as well as giving me the best price possible. I ended up getting a great Dodge Ram 09, and trading in my old Nissan Frontier it was awesome. The owner Steve was both parts hilarious and fair, and had the best possible workers advise and work with me. Steven, who was the manager who had helped me out also helped make the paperwork go very smoothly (thank goodness because I hate paperwork). He also took the time to detail my new vehicle as well as ensuring any problems or questions I had would be answered and fixed making sure I knew what they were going to do or what process they were on every step of the way. I loved the fact that they consulted me on everything because buying a car is such a big step and decision and with them making every little transition as smooth as possible you can't go wrong with this dealership. Had a transmission issue with my 2023 ford f150 had to have it towed to the dealership. I rode with the Tow truck driver to drop it off after talking to them. Pulled up in the service area no one came out. I had to go inside where I asked the guy at the desk to walk with me to tell him the problem. He said I'll be there soon at that point i had the Tow truck driver leave the truck on it. the guy never came out. No one was in the service dept. So I called another dealer and he took it there. I don't know how they are still in business??? Service is Horrible stay away!! They should fire the whole staff. Hire New people and get some cars on the Lot. Wish I could leave negative stars. We traded in a 2017 Explorer and bought a 2020 Explorer. Deal was on 12/27/2025. It is now June 10, 2026, and they have still not paid off my trade-in. They have sent 2 checks to my credit union, and both bounced. Been paying payments on a vehicle that is still titled and registered in my name, but I've no idea where it is. Coury sold the vehicle (without a title) and it is somewhere in Blue Gap, Arizona. All I get from Steve Coury Ford now is unanswered phone calls, and empty promises. We paid cash for a new 2024 Ford Ranger on July 20th. We drove it off the lot and had immediate problems with one of the airbag sensors. It's been in the shop twice and still not fixed. The vehicle we traded in on July 20th still hasn't been paid off. Capitol One is harassing us for the August 1st payment and late charges. This is also affecting our good credit. We still haven't received our new registration or our refund for the previous registration. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I recommend taking your vehicle any where but here, we were at our cabin over the weekend when Monday morning I was in town i noticed my f150 was leaking a lot of water from the front of the engine, I took the truck to Steve Coury Fords service department, it took them several hours to get me a quote which was for the water pump. They quoted me 5 hours labor which I later found out is typically quoted 2.8 hours according to the book. they got the truck in Monday and my son drove up from the valley Monday to give me a ride back to the cabin, Tuesday around 1pm I called for an update on my truck, they said the parts guy would be there in about 30 minutes with the water pump. Wednesday around noon comes and we call again for an update, the service manager tells us the parts arrived Wednesday morning and they were working on it, Wednesday before closing we stop in to see if the truck was ready, they proceed to tell us there was another part that needed replaced and it wouldn't be there till Thursday morning, the manager was very rude and dismissive of the fact that they never called us to authorize more parts being needed at an additional cost, finally Thursday around 3pm we call to see if the truck is done and they said it was being wrapped up and would call us when it was done. Thursday night around 5:10 pm they called us to tell us the truck was done and that they closed in 20 minutes so we weren't able to get it until Friday morning. when we arrived Friday morning to pick it up the bill came out over $400 more than they quoted which was due to the other parts and labor they never authorized, their service manager has an incredible lack of basic communication with customers, the only phone call we received from them in 4 days was to tell us the truck was ready. I wouldn't recommend Steve Coury Ford to my worst enemy, youre better off having your vehicle towed to the valley if it needs service when in the payson area. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

Took our vehicle to the tire shop for a screw in the tire. After the patch was complete we noticed the vehicle alerting that there was no air in the tire that was just fixed. We asked the tech and there was air in the tire but wasnt reading. The tech used their scan tool and went around the vehicle and said it was reading at 27 ( turned out to be the spare tire pressure that he scanned). I asked if he had reinstalled the sensor and he said he did. Talked to Mark Elsberry about the issue and he said he'd make it right if there was an issue. So we took it to Big O tires and they found that the sensor had been broken off. Notified Mark of the situation snd said he'd call corporate. After almost a week of dodging my calls hes now refusing to reimburse us and stating that we must have broken it off, even though his tech said that he had installed the sensor. So we are out $110 for a repair that steve coury Ford caused and refuse to take accountability for. read more

They even came out to pickup the car and take it to the shop for me! If I could give a negative review I would. I had my F250 towed to their service department on Monday and was told they would take a look and e-mail me the estimate. By Wednesday I had no response so I called and was told the information would be sent that night. Again on Thursday I called and was told the same thing. On Saturday I called and told them I was sending a tow truck to pick up the vehicle. Only then did I get the estimate and they charged me $250. On our way up to Forest Lakes with our 2013 F250 hauling our 26 foot trailer when the truck started howling! Pulled in to Steve Coury Ford and was greeted with a smile by Bobby. Explained the situation (after noticing a crack in the cat tube when I popped the hood). Bobby grabbed tech Jaeden, diagnosed and installed a new tube in less than five minutes. I reviewed Coury Ford in November after having service and recall work done. Couldn't say enough good things about the service department. Fast forward 6 months, and my Ford just died, couldn't even jump start it. Had it towed to Coury Ford, where they diagnosed a bad TCM (transmission switch) that was back ordered and it could be weeks or months & months before the switch was available. Between the ol' rock and a hard place, I looked around their lot, bought a Honda Accord, and traded in the Focus. They gave me $2500 for the Focus, and 3 weeks later it's on their lot and for sale for $7550!!! What!?? A car that was unfixable for "months and months" is already for sale at a nice $5000 profit in their pockets...I feel nothing but sadness. Back in late December, 2022, I bought myself a NEW car, or at least I thought it was NEW. It was checked as new on the purchase contract. Had the factory window sticker. Sometime after my purchase, I went online to the Ford Motor Company website to add my car to the Fordpass system. Much to my surprise, my car was listed as to being registered to a company called CPP on 11/1/2022, almost 2 months earlier. I called Ford Motor Company and told them this was a mistake. They assured me it was not. I then found out it was under recall. It's against the law to sell a new car under recall if the recall had not been performed. I contacted the AZDOT and explained my dilemma. They said there was nothing they could do. They also said I was the first title holder. They told me to confront the dealer. Confused yet? Yeah, me too. I called and spoke to Steve Coury himself and asked if he could rectify the situation. He said he'd look into it. After a few weeks with no answer, I went down and confronted the general manager who did my paperwork. He said that I was told it was a "demo". No, he never told me that. So, I drive back to the service dept. to arrange the recall. They picked my car up and delivered it back to me 3 days later. As a former mechanic myself, I inspected the recall work. The recall work was never done! I sit here now and wonder if hiring an attorney would be worth the trouble. read more

Scammers and False Advertisers! One should probably just expect car dealers to be crooks and annoying con artists... We live over 2 hours away from this dealer and received a pull tab offer from them in the mail. When we opened the tabs to see if we won a prize we saw we had won $5,000 in cash! I was skeptical and read all the fine print and it said we were a winner and that no purchase was necessary. We called the number to verify the code and then proceeded to drive over 2 hours each way to claim our prize. Upon arriving to claim he prize they said we did not win and that just because it says we did he confirmation number needed to match on their wall also. Any company that gets you to drive this far thinking you are a winner and then gives you a run around is using bad marketing and is not ethical. It would lead me to believe they also would be unethical in other ways. I am very upset at the waste of time and scam my nature of my first and only experience with the people and would surely not give them my business. Steve Cory Ford On Wednesday or Thursday of June 10th or 11th, 2020 I brought my 3/4 ton Dodge Diesel to the Star Valley Steve Coury Ford for a tire rotation. The rotation was completed the same day. The gentlemen who assisted me informed me that he was not going to charge me since I am a regular customer and I planned to return very soon to purchase a new set of tires for my truck. I enjoyed going to Steve Coury Ford in Star Valley because it is easier to go there from Tonto Village instead of going all the way into the town of Payson. They also have great prices on their tires. Unfortunately, after the situation they placed me in, I will no longer do business with them. They have lost a loyal customer. I rarely use my truck because at that time, I had a side by side I use to get around while I am in Tonto Village. On June 17th, 2020 I was driving just outside of Forrest Lakes on the 260 and sensed something wasn't wrong. Moments later after thinking that something was wrong, my entire wheel & tire flew off the axel and went racing out into the Forrest while I did my best to maintain control of my truck in an effort to not crash into anyone in front of me, in oncoming traffic from the other lane, or ramming myself into a tree!!! Thankfully no one was injured and better yet, no one was killed. I contacted Steve Coury Ford and they immediately apologized and called to have a tow truck sent out to come pick me and my truck up. I was so shook up from everything, I couldn't believe what just happened. My only thought was that the last people to touch my truck and tires was Steve Coury Ford. I had many conversations within a week with the General Manager and finally after a week of having my truck with no repairs complete, I got a call from the GM. He informed me that they investigated the situation more and determined they would not pay for the repairs, but would not charge me for the tow. The GM informed me that it was the wheel's fault for flying off the axel. I was extremely angry. How can all the lug nuts come off if Steve Coury Ford put them on correctly and with the right torque? The wheel's fault???? Seriously. I told the GM to just get it fixed and I'll pay for it and they'll just have a lot of heavy weight on their shoulders for not correcting this issue. Someone could have died. There has been a few posts on social media about my situation and so it seems many others have experienced other problems with this Steve Coury Ford outfit in Star Valley. In fact, this is such a scary issue, I know first hand that 2 of my family members who were planning to buy a new set of tires for their trucks from Steve Coury Ford, have now decided to go elsewhere. Another family member was getting ready to buy a new truck and decided to go to Chapman in Payson instead. Steve Coury Ford clearly can't be trusted with anyone's lives & vehicles. I called the GM on June 26th, 2020 to get an update on the repairs of the vehicle. He informed me that he is still waiting on the wheel because it is coming from Texas. I have now been without a vehicle going on almost 3 weeks at this point. I had even asked for a loaner vehicle in the beginning of all of this and was declined. On Monday, June 29th, 2020 I was informed by Steve Coury Ford that the wheel came in, but it was the wrong one!! I was told it will now be another 2 to 3 days before the correct wheel arrives, so who knows how much longer it will be before I can get my truck back. I was not going to submit this complaint/review until everything was repaired back to normal, but it seems as though Steve Coury Ford is too incompetent to get things done in a timely manner. We were returning home from an RV trip when our CHINOOK RV engine belt broke. We literally coasted into the service bay, unannounced at Steve Coury Ford, Payson,AZ...given the Chinook is on a Ford 350 chasis, service Mgr, Bobby, immediately diagnosed the situation and put mechanic Gino on the task. In addition to replacing belt and lost coolant fluid, Gino diligently washed away all fluids that had boiled over due to engine overheating! We were on the road again in less than 2 hours! On January 17, 2020 I purchased a 2019 Ford Expedition at which time they were to pay off my trade in (2016 BMW). It is now over 2 months later and the vehicle is still not paid off and still in our name. I'm receiving calls, emails and texts daily due to past due balances on this vehicle. I have NEVER been 1 day late until now. I have called the dealership several times a week and sent emails. I have spoken to multiple people at the dealership most recently Chad the CFO and have gotten nowhere. Just keep getting the run around. Every time I call, there either isn't someone that can talk to me or they tell me " the checks in the mail" Yesterday morning after not receiving any response from the CFO as promised, I left a voicemail for the owner that I would be contacting the BBB and still haven't received a response. As of today my payment is 60 days late! I can not afford to make my new car payment and the BMW payment nor should I have to! They have had my car for 2 month and most likely already sold it yet left me with the bill! Unacceptable!!!! Update 4/29/20 Bmw has now reported to the bureaus and my score has dropped 65 points! I have left several more messages at Steve Coury and no one will return my calls. The last check they sent to BMW in the amount of approximately $2700( not the payoff amount) bounced. I am concerned that they don't have the money to pay it off at all. I have spoken to many people that this same type of thing happened to them. My next step is an attorney and contacting Ford Motor Company! Update 7/14/20 Well almost 7 months later and my trade in still isn't paid off! They have stopped responding to me completely. I called ADOT and Ford Motor Company to file a complaint. The gentleman at ADOT has been great and been on top of them. We were finally given a tracking number on a check that was supposedly sent to BMW, it never went out. When we called again they created another tracking number and it was sent and delivered to BMW. Finally, I thought we were done.... nope today I received notification that their check was returned and I was charged a late fee and returned check fee!!! This is the second time this has happened might I add. One of the payments they made over the course of this nightmare the same thing happened. They blamed it on the wrong check number on the check. My opinion is they are just stalling because they don't have the money to pay it off and never intended to. This has happened to others too! Now once again, the payment is late and has been reported to the Credit Bureaus. I'm sick over this!! We had 800+ credit scores when all this happened. The day after I bought the car I took it back in for detailing and when I got home I noticed that they didn't even wash the back side or the rims, my front drivers seat mat was also missing and when I asked they said they didn't have it. I was told the car had a full inspection before it was given to me but within a week my brakes almost gave out. I brought it in that day and they tried to charge me for an issue that they didn't cover before selling me the vehicle. If you don't want to get screwed over and actually want a good honest dealership go Phoenix, this place is not worth the time. Having moved to Payson less then 2 weeks ago I was very happy to see a Local Ford dealership Thinking small town they want to take care of you and keep you as a customer! NOPE, 1st off our Sales lady sweet young lady but had only been there about a week and you could tell she wasn't up on prices and stuff your should know the first question was do they do a inspection of all used cars? Oh, yes!! They can't put them outside unless they do. Ok good to know. 2nd how much? (98 Ford F150) I know but we were looking for a Damm O Farm Truck It was throwing a code had an oil leak so we asked ?? They said oh it's the oil pan and the code is a TPS that needs to be replaced so they pulled up a Tube video to show hubby how to do it?? I said yeah, nope you need to fix it they said ok but you have to pay for the part and we will give you a flat shop rate of $65?? For a truck I'm buying from you?? Again nope, They agreed to fix the code and tighten the bolts so they did. We brought it home and hubby checked it out because the heater didn't work well, because the bypassed the heater so it wouldn't leak into the cab..I know it's long , but stay with me it's worth it..I called the sales manager and left a message we had paid cash in full I said I stop payment on the check untill I can get this fixed these are safety issues & should have been caught on the safety check. I then have some random guy call me back yelling at me because I stopped payment and I can be charged federally and he's going to call the attorney general blah, blah I said fix it I'll pay you. He hung up on me lol I waited a few hrs and left a message for the owner Steve he called back quickly and was much more pleasant to talk with I explained what happened and he said take it back to service tomorrow and see Ben. Ok went to Ben hubby explained what's up and said if we can get this fixed (about 200) we will bring cash back or you will have to take it back he said we will take it back ( hahaha they literally stepped over a dollar to save a dime) So, note to self and anyone else who might want to buy from them...Be Aware!!! read more

We were heading from Scottsdale to Holbrook on Friday (6/10/22) when our 2019 Ranger started having problems going up the hills on Beeline Highway. We called Steve Coury Ford and spoke to Kate about our issue. The weather has been bad in the area and some of the techs had gone home early because of it. Despite that Kate was able to get a tech to look at our truck and diagnosed the issue as software related. The tech, whose name I believe was Bret, got the truck software updated and sent us on our way. We are very grateful for Kate and Bret for taking care of our needs in such a quick manner. DO NOT BUY FROM STEVE COURY FORD: I purchased a new 2020 F150 on October 8, 2020 from Steve Coury Ford. I was then called in early March 2021 to purchase a different new 2020 F150, this one with more features than the last one. I did end up trading in the original F150 and bought the second F150 on March 23, 2021. With the trade in, the dealership was supposed to pay the original loan off but has not as of yet, June 6, 2021. According to the original lenders website, a check was sent in on May 10, 2021 for the payoff but then was immediately reversed, again on the same day. Once again, on May 26, 2021 a check was sent to the original lender for payoff then immediately reversed. As of today, I have had to make 2 additional payments on a truck I do not have possession of, so that my credit will not be ruined because of Steve Coury Ford. I have reached out to the dealership numerous times regarding this issue, each time they state they will take care of the payoff, but they do not/ Additionally, the original F150 has been sold to a new buyer; just to be completely clear: MY F150, purchased in October 2020, that still has a loan on it, has been sold by Steve Coury to a NEW buyer with the understanding that the truck has a clear title, whereas it has a current lien in my name. Do not buy from Steve Coury Ford or any of his dealerships. There are several other reviews on all platforms describing this scam they are running. March 3rd 2018 I enter into a contact with Steve Corty Ford in Starvalley Arizona, one of the terms of the contract was that Steve Corey was supposed to take over the lease payments on a 2017 Ford. I spoke with Ford motor credit last week and this still hasn't been done. Ford credit has been trying to get this taken care of and they haven't received any response from Corty Ford.. in June it was suggested that I volunteer to turn the car back to avoid paying for towing and paperwork if Steve Corty decided to take the car back.
