It was towed up to the shop directly and they knew the whole situation- it was dropped off around 11:10am, they told us they could diagnose it within 30 min.. at 1:30 they still hadn't even looked at it. after hours of waiting, they pulled it into the bay and said it's an easy fix and could be done before they close. my husband waited until AFTER closing in the waiting room, where they kept him waiting and told him every 30 min they were just bleeding the lines and would get him out ASAP. at 6 o'clock i picked him up and they hadn't done anything. they said they would come back in the morning even though they were closed guess what, we drove all the way back there, and now some other issue happened. we found someone at our campsite who worked on cars, he met us at the shop, reconnected a hose that was removed BY HAND, and you'll never guess.. but the car was working in perfect condition. they were trying to scam us out of more money. avoid at all costs.

Since it was Sunday and a holiday weekend, I wasn't optimistic. We found this shop was open. Huge thanks and kudos to Carl and Victor for inspecting the van on and off the lift right away and showing me that the only significant damage was a crushed exhaust pipe, and it appeared safe for us to continue home.
