The quality of tires has been horrible. we consistently buy 4 tires once a year and we live in Payson putting less than 5,000 miles on the tires. when asked this last time why they wear so fast he told me that "some cars just wear tires more" and of course my Kia was one of them. The service is normally terrible. consistently get hung up on by accident (always the manager Jason) "please hold" *click... but that seems to be the customer service standard in todays retail businesses. But todays experience is the reason they have lost me as a customer forever. we had a flat and I dropped it off for a patch, and after complaining that they were so busy, he called me minutes after I left saying "someone drove hundreds of miles on this while flat" and now it's ruined and voids warranty. I told him I live in town where that's not possible plus I noticed the flat before moving the car from the garage. With management this, seemingly, dishonest, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Lousy customer service! Called for an appointment to rotate the tires on my wife's car, as they had been purchased at this store. Arrived 10 minutes early, dropped the car off, and was told it would be an hour or less. Gave up after an hour and twenty minutes of being ignored, and the car sitting in the same spot I left it. If you are going to make an appointment - honor it for cryin out loud! If you get too busy (which they were not!) and the customer has to wait, have the courtesy to say some thing to them...don't just stand at the counter playing with your phone, ignoring everyone. read more

We made a trip to Payson and at our first stop our SUV battery wasn't connecting properly for the starter to turn over. I called and the gentleman that assisted us was so friendly and notified us that there was only one person working but they would try to help. We drove in and he assisted us in getting checked in quickly. They quoted us an hour and a half to get it fixed and we were so grateful they worked us in. Less than 35 minutes later, they had finished everything. Such a great experience and would highly recommend. We had fantastic services and I apologize for forgetting the mans name that helped us because he was incredible. This was on Saturday the 19th if a manager wants to know. Ive been bringing my car here for the last 2 yrs, recently got an oil change and was told they couldnt measure any oil on the dipstick and then said I had an oil leak, steering and rack leaking, coolant leak, and wheel allingment. The entire quote was over $2,200. I then took it back to get oil leak fixed and they doubled the quote to $600.00. At that rate, I was going to buy a new car!! These folks are HONEST! I bought new tires in Phoenix, I live here in Payson. Less than 24-hours after arriving home, the low tire pressure warning came on and i was deep off road. I panicked, pulled out my compressor to find the tire pressure was fine. I called another tire place in town, he said it was likely the sensor was worn out and I should replace all 4 at a cost of $98 each. Without even seeing the vehicle!! I went to Firestone, they were really busy but the gentleman at the counter offered to look at it if i could come back at 4PM and they would look into it, he also recommended I check the owners manual about the TPMS. I recalibrated the sensors myself and the warning went away. They were still busy but he checked the tire pressure when i went back at 4 and all was well. This is the way to do business! I drove in from Prescott - there are plenty of twisty ups and downs on that road - when the "red triangle of death" flashed on in my Prius. According to the owner's manual this is a "get your car looked at NOW!" warning light. The lighted turned off so I continued driving even though it flashed a few more times - the alternative was to sit on a hairpin turn in the middle of a dead cell area and nighttime was approaching. I was TERRIFIED but made it into town. (Enter my busy imagination that's read too many Stephen King horror books. An older woman, alone, on a switchback...and no cell service....) Thankfully, no axe murderer happened upon me and I made it into town. Hello, big honking glass of wine. I got my car into their shop first thing Sunday morning and I felt like a basket case. Was my car a death trap? Was this going to wipe out this month's grocery money to get fixed? And were these guys honest? And then I spoke with Brandon - he was manning the front counter. I could feel my blood pressure drop immediately. He was so kind and so helpful, I nearly wept with relief. My car wasn't throwing any codes but I needed a new 12v battery but they didn't have any in stock. I asked him if he would mind if I got one from an auto parts store if he could install it. (LIke shops like you do that normally, right?) Brandon paused for a moment and said, "Yeah, we can do that." The tech, Chuck, installed the battery, checked my tires and assured me that the old battery was toast. (And it was!) If you've stuck with this long narrative, thank you. This shop was proof of the good there is in the world and that there are businesses that are truly not all about the almighty dollar - but about providing great service at a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again should the need arise in Payson. If you need an honest mechanic, this is your place. And Brandon and Chuck - thank you again. I am so grateful for your kind service. BTW - Chuck also told me that the battery had been installed improperly and he was surprised it had lasted as long as it had. Dropped my car off for an oil change, was informed I needed tires, got a quote and gave them the okay to put them on. When I picked the car up the price was different. They gave me multiple excuses and tried blaming it on different fees tacked on. In the past when I have bought tires here, or had a service done, they always were right on with the price I was given over the phone. Not this time. Felt completely taken advantage. The team at Firestone did a bang-up job getting my car fixed quickly. My family and I were passing through Payson on our way up to the Rim to do some camping, when a bunch of warning lights came on. We coasted into Firestone and the crew there had the problem identified and a solution and price presented to us in just over 30 min. It was a busy Saturday, so I was grateful for the speedy service. Less than 2 hours later, the alternator was replaced in my 2011 Honda Pilot and we were back on the road. Doing a little research showed that the price was on the very low end of what you would expect to pay for parts and labor for a replacement alternator. I stopped at 2 other tire shops on the near side of town & they were too busy to take time to look at my problem. On the far side of town, I found the Firestone shop. I drove in & they immediately took pity on me & my situation. I was out of there in 35 minutes with 3 new tires and a great feeling of security for the rest of my trip.
