Overpriced cars that are priced at least $3000-4000 more than Kelley blue book values them at. Understandable it's a dealership, but if people are trying to get the best cost for a car should be at least negotiable but not overpriced so high more than value of the car itself. Smh not recommended, don't pay more than you have to. Don't forget you have to pay sales tax on top of their outrageous asking prices read more

Steve Clark Auto - Car Dealers Near Me - Fresno, California

I would put 0 star if I can! I bought a car just recently from them October2022. my car has gave me issues since I first bought it. They claimed to fix it 2. I've now had to pay out of pocket 2 because the check engine light keeps coming on. Terrible place to buy a car don't waist your time or money. There's no good cars here. read more

They constantly advertise "Home of the $7,000 car", cheapest car the sell is over $11,000! Right off the bat they lie.

Highly recommend this place for used vehicles! I disagree with all the bad reviews since I had a excellent experience with this place. Steve and his staff were so nice and friendly! They didnt bug or follow me like other dealers do. They were so relaxed and allowed me to look around and test drive cars without any pressure! Ive been to other dealers and I will definitely be coming back ! Your coming to a used car dealership... not a New luxury dealership. So Im highly satisfied! I got a new SUV and my family is happy. The car is nice and clean inside. The price wasnt bad either. Plus they work with all credit score and can work with you so you can have a car! Love this place!!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a used car! read more

Bought a 2008 2500 HD back in 2012 paid it off my wife wanted a Nissan Marano got it I'm almost paid off with that don't know what all the bad reviews are about none of my business soon as I pay this off I'm going to get me a corvette thru Steve which is in about a year read more

In 2010 I bought an RV from them and had trouble getting it registered in Nevada where I lived. That was no big deal at the time because I was going to store the RV until I retired but things changed and I didn't retire until 2017. I had just been using the RV as a man cave but now I wanted to take it on the road so I needed to get it registered. So I was on a trip to Santa Maria, Ca and on my way I stopped at Clark's Auto sales to see what the problem was with my title. Lucky for me the same salesmen were still there and remembered my RV from the pictures I brought with me. Turns out the Auction house( Clark bought the RV at auction) did not fill out the title right. So Steven called the auction house and told them the problem and they said to come dn & they would fix the problem. So Steven and I drove there and the problem was fixed. Of course it should have been done right the first time around. Thats why I only give them a 3 star. I'm sadden to see all the neg. reviews , but unless you owned the used car from the get go no auto mech. can tell whats going to happen to that car. Just something to keep in mind when buying a used car. read more

They are a rip off! BEWARE STEVE CLARKS AUTO SALES AND STEVE GUZMAN, READ ALL REVIEWS ON GOOGLE AND FACEBOOK. You will see there are many unhappy customers.....I purchased a Ford F150 from them and nothing but problems. They claimed to have had their mechanic, who happens to be Guzman dad and is not licensed, changed parts. Still did not solve issue. About a month later transmission fails and when brought to their attention, they refused to accept responsibility for selling me a broken truck. read more

I purchased a truck on eBay from Steve Clark. The truck was on eBay, Craigslist, and Commercial Truck Trader. I had previously called on the truck and the sales rep. said that the truck ran perfect with NO problems. The salesmen said the truck doesn't even smoke. The truck was a diesel. I asked why he mentioned the smoke thing. He said because everyone asks if it smokes. All ads quoted a perfect running vehicle. I called an hour before the end of the bid and the truck was still available and still running great. I bid on the truck at the last minute and I was the sole bidder. I live 2 hrs. away, so I called to set up the purchase contract and pay for the truck. The owner finally calls me back and says that he can not sell the truck because, all of a sudden THE TRUCK IS SMOKING!!!! I asked him to get the truck diagnosed and he refused. I told him that I was willing to take the truck as is, if he had the truck diagnosed. However, Steve Clark, biggest fraud dealer ever, refused to diagonse or sell the truck to me. SCAMMER!!!!!! read more

Seriously horrible business!! Bought a car that they said had no problems, the NEXT day after purchasing, the check engine light came on.....we had purchased the outside warranty and took it to the shop immediately. It ended up being a $2500 job! Almost a quarter of what we paid for the vehicle, and the warranty was only willing to cover $1500 after making us wait 3 weeks to get it approved and I was told not to drive my vehicle with the current issue. I called Steve Clarks and they offered to pay $500 of the extra thousand owed, obviously they had a guilty conscience! Anyways they had to basically rebuild the engine. Well I get the vehicle back and it still had preexisting issues causing the vehicle to shake, I take it back to the shop and another part needing replaced cost $1500 more! The shop said these were LONG TERM PREEXISTING ISSUES!! Steve Clarks Auto did nothing to help after that. we called lawyers and they are willing to take our case on so they will be taken to court and made to pay for selling piece of crap vehicles! read more

This was one of the only dealers to have the car I had wanted after looking online. Vigorously looking and searching for a great price I found the car for 8300 and as i went in to look at it I found minor problems with the car but it was fine. But i had also found another car in Stockton ca which is a bit further same make and model and looked a whole lot better for the price, as I spoke to the seemingly nice guy who looked trustworthy he told me he would drop the price to 7000 and this sounded great so i went through with it. Paperwork seemed great and correctly written. Then after I went home with the car the gas was on empty they refused to fill it up for me at least half then it was missing a front license plate, door reflectors falling off I was still happy because this was the car i had wanted but I get a call later saying they needed me to go back and redo papers because they had messed up on some paperwork they ended up charging me full price and more for the car. The guy who I spoke to first was all of a sudden nowhere to be found and the other guy helping me told me that the first guy never spoke of any lowering of price. They totally ran one over on me and tricked me into paying a whole lot more for the car. I understand financing from the bank so I understand it goes up in price but not the car price itself. So to anyone thinking about going here be very cautious and do NOT believe what they say. Sketchy people I do not regularly post reviews but beware of this place. read more

Is there a negative 5 rating? These are sketchy people. Not only do you pay more than vehicles worth because you have bad credit, you put more down than you should have to, then they add ridiculous finance charges on (they pretend you are being financed by someone-buts it's them). They require so much up front that your first payment is late by 26 days, so next months is late and so on. For over a year it goes on like this. They charge late fee and move on. Then one day out of blue, payments 11 days late and they send "their" repo crew. No warning,no phone call,no letter just take your car and run. You get owner Steve Clark on phone and he lies, says he is someone else. He then ignores all of your calls and texts.....not even professional enough to respond to you. In order to get car back you must pay repo and storage fees plus the payment. He hides behind his employees and claims those fees are legit. So it ends up costing you a 1000 for these repo fees plus your payment. (Which wasn't even a month late-2 weeks). After a year of setting the stage for late payments). So you pay the extortion fee because you are so far into this 8000 car which has already cost you 5000 down and 350 for 14 months and you have a balance still of 11000. What the hell? You make good payments for a few months. Husband loses job and you make a 250 payment instead of 350. Which they accepted.......then your new payment is due on the 15th and hey call you and say the repo man is coming again. What a racket. Every arrangement we have ever made with them we followed through on. They have no consistent practices and you can not believe any agreements you make. They say they can repo your vehicle for being one day late and you have zero recourse. You are at their mercy and whatever mood they are in. They lie about their identity. This is a total nightmare. Worse dealings ever and I am stuck. read more

I will give Steve Clark auto one star for the friendly service. My fiancé bought me a 2007 GMC Yukon in October 2016 since then we have had nothing but trouble with the vehicle! The first day we bought it we drove it home, we immediately had a notice on the dash board that said to service breaks. The breaks were bad. We also had to put tires on it that following day. The cd disc also ate every cd I would put in. The first being a brand new Christmas cd. Not to mention the vehicle was absolutely filthy on the inside! In less than one year we came to learn after replacing the spark plugs and wires, that had not been changed in a very very long time, the cars maintenance was very poor! We've had to install a new motor!!!! So, we are not only having to make payments on a car but the maintenance fees monthly are out of this world!!!! DO NOT buy from this car lot!! Save yourself the headache and frustration go to a dealership and always have the car inspected!!!!! There was so much build up in the engine from poor care and neglect it cost us over $10,000 in repair! It's not worth it!!!! Shop somewhere else!!! Here's an update. As of January 27, 2017 my Yukon is back in the shop because it needs a new computer What ever you do, DO NOT buy from Steve clark auto!!! read more

This auto dealer doesn't keep their word. I bought a car there 4.5 months ago I have nothing good to say. When I bought the car the check engine light was on. I told the lot manager he gave me a written letter saying It would be repaired. I took the car back six days later to get it fix. The customer service man looked at the car with the scanner and said they could not fix the car. I asked him what I should do he said take to my mechanic and get it fixed. I did 4500.00 plus in repairs were needed. After repairs were done I went back to bulldog auto OWNED BY STEVE CLARK and gave them the receipts. The lot manager said he would talk to Steve Clark. I don't know if he did but the lot manager after two weeks offer me 500.00 are you kidding me. DON'T BUY HERE RIP OFF AUTO SALES!!!!!!. i AM TAKING THEM TO COURT WILL FOLLOW UP LATER WITH RESULTS. IF THEY HAVE JACKED YOU OVER EMAIL ME. Working on class POSSIBLE CLASS ACTION SUIT. read more
