Visited this location 3 times in the last month and have no plans on ever returning. First visit to…read moreturn in an old iPad found myself in line at the Geek Squad until learning only the cashiers up front handle this process. Waited in line with only 2 cashiers in a full line of checkout customers. Upon reaching the cashier, I went through a process to first identify the iPad model, then only to be told the person who can process had left for the day. 2nd visit again waiting in line for 2 cashiers. The cashier who said he could process the credit fumbled through entering data needed to issue a refund. After 3-4 times giving address, locating ID and model on iPad, then requiring not only a picture id but weight, height, hair, and eye color, I was asked if the $30 credit was okay. Again, we had to reinsert all the identifying information, including retrieving the iPad ID, before the cashier retrieved a gift card from a kiosk. Almost an hour spent at the register for a $30 credit to spend at Best Buy. The 3rd and final visit to use the gift card found us in the cashier line only to be told the price label was not accurate, generated by a poor WiFi update system, and the $20.99 price would be around $50. Walking to the back of the store to retrieve photo proof of the pricing label, I was told the price was for the same case in black, not blue. The case is for a generation 4 iPad and their was only one left on the shelf. Both the cashier and the managing front-line supervisor refused to honor pricing, essentially saying they have no responsibility for pricing and exhibited a "couldn't care less" attitude that my purchase or effort mattered. Best Buy customer service policy lacks consideration for doing the right thing for customers and should be well noted before any shopping excursion. Word to the wise...buyer beware!

Yeah, that's been absolutely ridiculous. I was here when they open the doors. Nobody in the Apple…read moresection waited 10 minutes just to get something out. They walk it up something that should've been three minutes. Took 15 to 20 minutes and yes, I was in a hurry because I have a golf start time. If you open at 10 AM, you should have people in your department working especially the Apple section.

Target - Black Friday swag bag line

Guest Relations Target Corporation…read more Subject: Complaint Regarding Black Friday Swag Bag Distribution - Daytona, FL Location To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the misleading Black Friday promotion advertised by Target. Your Black Friday ad clearly stated that swag bags would be distributed at 6:00 a.m. to the first 100 people in line. Based on this information, my sister and I arrived at the Target located on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach at 4:30 a.m. and waited patiently in the cold for over an hour. However, shortly before the store opened at 6:00 a.m., we were informed--only then--that the swag bags had actually been handed out at 4:00 a.m., well before the time stated in Target's official advertising. Not once during the hour and a half we stood in line did any staff member notify those waiting of this change. As a result, our time and effort were entirely wasted due to what I consider to be false and misleading advertising. I would like to know why the Daytona location distributed the bags earlier than the nationally advertised time. This inconsistency is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store's adherence to Target's promotional commitments. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request that two swag bags--one for myself and one for my sister--be mailed to my home address. We both arrived early, followed the advertised instructions, and waited patiently, only to be denied what the promotion promised. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

Great experience everybody was very helpful. Very friendly store was clean. Highly recommended.read more

This place was recommended by a few friends so it was a no brainer to me at that point. I smashed…read moremy screen(6splus) as I thought I was super cool to not have either screen protector nor a case of any kind on my phone for the very first time(yeah real cool)! Ok ok so anyway I called around & either the price was over $100 or just seemed shady. After being referred by friends, getting an $85 quote by phone I crossed my fingers that I wouldn't get ripped off,my main frame hacked into, identity stolen and my precious photos sold on the black market to creepies across the world! To my surprise it was fantastic! To the point, friendly, knowledgeable, fast & most importantly fair. There's a 90day warranty on screens & batteries that I know of for sure but I believe it's all parts/services(double check). If they aren't super busy he can get it done while you wait but don't expect it. Avg wait time otherwise is about an hour & if you have an old version of the same phone, charge it and take out the sim & well...USE IT! If you don't then be thankful to be free of it for an hour because it's extremely sad how attached we are to our devices(yes me too)! I hope this helps & as of this review I've smashed my screen again because you guessed it ...I was way too cool for a case but hey at least I had a screen protector on that didn't help other then not allowing my screen to completely fall apart into glass dust. Ughhh...don't be me...actually be smart & cool.

Smart Cell Repair does not stand behind their professed, "90 day warranty". Printed on the receipt…read more"All returns have a 25% restocking fee 14 day return policy, for all purchases, backed by a 90 day warranty..." the complete terms and conditions of the "Repair Policy" are not fully printed on the receipt and not provided to the customer. My daughter had the cracked screen of her iPhone replaced at this shop on April 20th. About a week ago, she placed her phone on the counter for the night to charge, still in the OtterBox defender case. No one used or touched it. The next morning we noticed a hairline crack in the screen. Due to busy schedules and all of the panic happening lately, she was unable to immediately take it back and the crack seemed to worsen. When she took it back today, she was told by the owner's brother, that she did not meet the "conditions of the warranty" because there were "no pieces or chunks of glass missing" yet the conditions of the warranty were never specified, as to what was and was not included. How convenient that she did not meet these unstated "conditions." In addition, the receipt states that the purchaser agrees "to the terms and conditions of Smart Cell Repair, LLC Manufacturer Warranty" of which were also never provided. I guess this is the loophole they utilize in order to appear to be an ethical business and warranty their repairs and materials. When that is not the case. In actuality, they are more than happy to correct the problem, as long as you are willing to hand over more cash.
