I wanted an new gaming PC and went into their Ormond Beach office. I got exactly what I was hoping to get at a cost lower then I was expecting to pay. The computer is NOT filled with bloatware that comes a lot of PC's today. There were no hidden fees and no hidden charges. You get exactly what you want and if you're not sure what you need they take the time to talk to you to ensure you get what you want or need. Extremely friendly staff. I ordered my computer on a Friday and it was ready to be picked up the following Tuesday. Absolutely incredible. I have used Winchester Computers many, many times over the years and have purchased multiple computers from them both for our businesses and personally. I always had a very good relationship with Scott and he took care good care of us. So when I needed to move everything from my current laptop to a newly purchased one, I did not hesitate with calling them and setting it up. I asked for Scott but was told he was out and they put me in touch with someone I did not know. I had had them do this multiple times in the past and it was always done expertly. However, after I got the new computer back from them I found that half the stuff was either not moved or did not work properly, to the point that I could not use it in my work. I called them and asked for Scott again and was then told that he had sold the business and was no longer associated with the company. They then logged into my computer remotely and they could not figure anything out. I eventually had to take my brand new computer to someone else to fix everything that had not been done correctly. Needless to say, I will never consider using them again in the future and would caution anyone else to do the same. read more

My MacBook is about 6 years old and the keyboard went out. Best Buy is restricted on working on Macs and I didn't want to drive/ wait at the Apple store. I recently brought my computer to Winchester. My computer system wouldn't boot up. They called the next day saying my computer would boot up but there were other problems. I clearly told them not to reinstall Windows. I didn't want my hard drive wiped. I had Windows 7 installed. I also had a reinstall Windows disk that came with the computer. I told them I was coming to get it as long as it booted up, I would see to it myself. When I came to get my computer, they had installed Windows 10. I DIDN'T ASK FOR NOR WANTED IT! The technician lied and said we talked and I told him to put Windows 10 in my system. The bill jumped from $29.99 to $253.62. When I got home, I reinstalled Windows 7. Beware of this place, get it in writing first. read more

I had a short window of time to have my daughter's laptop repaired before she started school and I returned to the west coast. The expedite fee was reasonable and the laptop was fixed later that day.
