    Target, Daytona Beach

Target always does a great job and this one is no exception. Clean parking lot with empty cart corrals, great right from the start. The far end of the parking lot also has EV charging stations. Inside the store, it is brightly lit and the aisles are clear. Well shined tiles and neatly stacked merchandise all around. I was in the men's department today where I found a couple of nicely discounted tshirts and a package of knickers that I needed. All good and reasonably priced. Checkout was easy and accurate. Overall, a good shop. [Review 15850 overall - 1426 in Florida - 1354 of 2021.]

I was missing a bag that I mistakingly left about an hour prior to this-- I called last night 7 times to try and make sure it was there before driving back up there and seeing it wasn't busy AT ALL. One couple at the register and the cashier more the happy to help me. It was obvious the woman in customer service didn't want to deal with customers last night because she had no line and still didn't answer any of the calls... Her attitude was VERY poor. You can definitely tell she IS NOT happy with her job, my sister called 3. When I called I tried the guest department 3 times, electronics 2 times, and tried "all other departments" 2 times as well. I got 0 answers. When I walked up to customer service there was no hello, hi, how are you or nothing. Just looking at me with a very unhappy look. I proceeded to tell her I left a bag and I asked if she knew anything about it since she was in customer service and she looked at me and said "you checked out with her (points at cashier) so ask her". To where the cashier, on lane one I believe closest to the beginning of self checkout had an AMAZING attitude and was so so HAPPY I came back to get my bag... NO THANK YOU AT ALL to whoever was in customer service. People love to give an attitude but if I as a customer walked in there with the same nasty attitude I KNOW it wouldn't be appreciated when the tables turn. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.

Right on the main strip here, and near the interstate, this is a good size location. The store was clean and he staff were helpful in helping find what I was looking for. Parking was easy out front.

Nice and clean store, workers are friendly (they greeted our kids when we were browsing the store) and the parking lot has a Tesla charging station making it very convenient to charge your vehicle while shopping at Target. We stopped by on our way home from the beach.

Certainly not a fan of this particular Target. First of all, it's not a "Super" Target, so it lost a star right off the bat for that. On my way back from Orlando, I decided to pop in here real quick and pick up a CD for hubby that he's been wanting for quite some time. Bad decision on my part because apparently there was some big race going on at the Speedway and they were charging people to park in the Target parking lot because it is directly across the street. I was stopped as I entered the parking lot and asked if I was there for the race or to shop. I told the person I was there to shop, so they allowed me to enter the parking lot free of charge. Well... thank you very much for allowing me to park for free. Jeeeez, I hate NASCAR! Once I parked, I was annoyed because one of the parking attendants actually watched me park and then watched me walk into the store. What were they going to do? Tackle me if I walked in the other direction? Whatever. I went into the store and grabbed a frap from Starbucks. That was definitely a needed stop. I headed back to electronics to grab the CD. I thought this could be done quickly so I could get back on the road. Not so much. I knew he wanted the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis CD, but I couldn't find it. The guy who was in electronics was helping a woman who was asking a million questions about a cell phone (not even a smart phone.. just one of those burner phones) as if she'd never seen a cell phone before. I looked around and saw where one of the red phones should have been to call for assistance. Walked to it and there was no phone. Just an empty jack. I went back to where the woman was still asking questions about the burner phone and waited and waited and waited. Finally, all patience lost, I interrupted and asked if there was anyone else who worked in electronics that he could call. A guy a couple of rows over heard me and said, "I do." He came up to me and I told him what I was looking for. He'd never heard of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. For about 5 minutes, he used the little gadget in his hand to try to locate it and finally told me there was no one by the name of Macklemore and Brian Lewis. Not Brian... RYAN. So he piddled some more on his little gadget. He told me they didn't exist. OMGeeeeez!!! I whipped out my iPhone, typed it in and within 5 seconds had a photo of the CD "The Heist" on my phone. I turned it around and showed him. His response? "Oh Yeahhh... I HAVE seen that CD here." Well, what do you know. I actually did know what I was talking about after all. I grabbed said CD, paid for it, and half an hour later I finally walked out of the store. This was a half an hour AFTER I got my frap from Starbucks. Way too much time to grab a CD. I can't say that I'll ever return to this Target again.

    This Target has Starbuck's!

I think I will always be a fan of Target. This particular one is always clean and organized. The employees always greet you and act professional, in my experience. I can always find what I need and I love that there's a Starbuck's! Plenty of parking too.

It's a good Target. It has the food section too. It is to be avoided on race weeks because of its proximity to the race track.

After discussing what we were looking for he put us in the right location and after explaining to him the few important features we were looking for and that we would like to browse the showroom without assistance he gladly honored our request and let us know where he would be if we had any questions. As with any furniture selection color is important but we knew we would have to be open minded being we weren't looking to replace all our living room furnishings. Our existing recliners have served us well and although they operate 100% manually - prior to starting our search we knew there would likely be options available that may not have been available a decade ago. Timing is everything and since the Fourth of July holiday is approaching we knew it was likely that every retail furniture store worth shopping would be having their annual holiday sale and we found that to be the case here. After doing some due diligence we had identified what was important to us - definitely real leather, powered verse a manual operation in regards to the leg rest, the head rest and lumbar support any additional options we would deal with through discovery. This store has an impressive number of recliners on the floor in all types of materials with a plethora of options. After an hour of so of testing, reclining, adjusting almost everything short of taking a nap, we decided we needed to go thank Eric for his time get his business card and move on to explore other options. This is very nice store and the staff was extremely friendly and out going I'd definitely stop in again when furniture shopping in the future...

What should be a euphorically fun…read moreexperience for a girl who loves to dabble in interior design has become a -I'd rather stick hot pokers into my eyeballs- kind of event. I've been to American signature, where the sales clerk followed me, asked for my sign, (Aries, in case that is relevant to this review) credit score (not good) and familial status (blissfully unencumbered) Then I went to rooms-to-go, where a totally adorable kid recommended to me that I go to American Freight. I hesitated to leave and pondered my cougar status. Don't think I'm old enough yet, but if I was... Well that's a thought best left for later. I tried several other used furniture stores. Downtown on Mason, Madeline's in Daytona and Port Orange, a Macy's buyout center on Yonge, and several others along that road too. I'm worn out. I'm frazzled. I'm so sick of being followed around by furniture sales people that I'm contemplating ways in which to heat up my hot pokers. I'm fantasizing about actually bringing the hot pokers shopping with me so that I can brand the next *#cker that insists on following me around. I HATE that. It's a bad practice and it will never work, but people don't seem to get that. Enter Southern Home Furniture. Pokers ready, I was not attacked. I was left to roam happily contemplative from their main room to their 5!! more rooms in the back. While I may be looking for the impossible couch and still did not find it at this place, I was so thankful for the low pressure sales approach that I almost bought a couch that I didn't really want just to give these people my money. As far as selection goes, Downtown on Mason and Southern have absolutely the best selection and prices. While I didn't purchase anything at Southern, it was by far my favorite place. Huge selection, and nice, non invasive owners... Oh- and fantastic prices! Madeleine's was more expensive than most other places, American freight was pretty good, rooms to go was on the high end, American Signature was fair. But all in all, if I wasn't looking for something so specific, Southern is my choice. They're only open til 5, so hurry up!

When the set showed up it was 2 loveseats. When I contacted the store representative, she argued that the set that was delivered was correct. I said, I took a picture of the set and she said well the picture you took was not the set I purchased. She said "I can review the cameras." I said please do because you will see this is not the set we purchased. She finally agreed to send the correct set which was delivered after my daughter returned home. When they were delivered it had a huge gash across the back of the loveseat. When I called to ask her what happened I was told "it is not my responsibility to point out damage to you". The tags also did not state "as is" which is how most tags are marked if there is damage. I sent the couches back with the delivery drivers but gave each of the delivery guys money because I understand it was a hassle for them. I was not going to accept damaged merchandise. The store representative said she would let us know when she received new sofa sets in however we never received any communication. We went back to the store 3 times trying to find something and resolve this in a positive way. On the 3rd visit, my daughter found something she liked. I said to the clerk so there is a $200 difference and she said no I am already out hundreds of dollars. She said you already filed a chargeback. I said yes because we paid you and have no merchandise so I will be happy to call them to cancel it. I do not expect you to deliver it before you receive your money back including the price difference. She repeated no because I am out hundreds of dollars. It's a shame that we could not do business with her. We tried to rectify multiple times to no avail. If you purchase from this store, take pictures and thoroughly review the merchandise before purchasing even if that requires you to move the furniture so that you can see everything. I have attached pictures of the damage on the loveseat. My daughter left a review and the store called us scammers as a response to that review. This business has blocked us from Facebook as well. I am trying to make sure other people understand the steps they need to take to protect themselves so this does not get repeated.
