Target is my go-to for basic items when I'm traveling or forget to pack something. I swung by this location on W International Speedway Blvd in Daytona Beach and was surprised with the wait time at Drive Up. At most Target locations, I usually will park my car and get my items within 2-3 minutes of arrival. It wasn't busy but I also didn't have to be anywhere. I do like the convenience of Drive Up and orders are ready for pick up within 2 hours. Overall, I'm satisfied that I got the items I needed. For this trip, I picked up some laundry detergent and other items since I'm here on business for a couple weeks. Easy peasy! read more

Guest Relations Target Corporation Subject: Complaint Regarding Black Friday Swag Bag Distribution - Daytona, FL Location To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the misleading Black Friday promotion advertised by Target. Your Black Friday ad clearly stated that swag bags would be distributed at 6:00 a.m. to the first 100 people in line. Based on this information, my sister and I arrived at the Target located on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach at 4:30 a.m. and waited patiently in the cold for over an hour. However, shortly before the store opened at 6:00 a.m., we were informed--only then--that the swag bags had actually been handed out at 4:00 a.m., well before the time stated in Target's official advertising. Not once during the hour and a half we stood in line did any staff member notify those waiting of this change. As a result, our time and effort were entirely wasted due to what I consider to be false and misleading advertising. I would like to know why the Daytona location distributed the bags earlier than the nationally advertised time. This inconsistency is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store's adherence to Target's promotional commitments. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request that two swag bags--one for myself and one for my sister--be mailed to my home address. We both arrived early, followed the advertised instructions, and waited patiently, only to be denied what the promotion promised. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution. read more

Target - Black Friday swag bag line - Department Stores Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

As a former Target employee, I was appalled by the customer service I received today. This experience did not reflect the Target values and guest service standards I remember. When I approached the register, the cashier, Amber, was away from her register. When she returned, she looked at me for several seconds before acknowledging me and continued eating while assisting me. She then used a plastic grocery bag to handle my items before placing them into another bag. It immediately caught me off guard because I have never seen a cashier do that before. When I politely asked why she was handling my items that way, she avoided answering my question. After I asked to speak with a manager, Amber called another associate over and said, "She only has $25. I know she doesn't have enough to purchase her items." I was shocked and embarrassed that she made assumptions about my finances and discussed them in front of another employee. She had no way of knowing how much money I had available, and those comments were unnecessary, disrespectful, and unprofessional. As a Black customer, the entire interaction left me feeling singled out and questioning whether I was treated differently because of my race. While I cannot know her intentions, that was the impact her actions had on me. No guest should leave Target feeling humiliated, judged, or disrespected. I hope Target takes this complaint seriously, thoroughly reviews this incident, and ensures every guest is treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. read more

Great experience everybody was very helpful. Very friendly store was clean. Highly recommended.

Target always does a great job and this one is no exception. Clean parking lot with empty cart corrals, great right from the start. The far end of the parking lot also has EV charging stations. Inside the store, it is brightly lit and the aisles are clear. Well shined tiles and neatly stacked merchandise all around. I was in the men's department today where I found a couple of nicely discounted tshirts and a package of knickers that I needed. All good and reasonably priced. Checkout was easy and accurate. Overall, a good shop. [Review 15850 overall - 1426 in Florida - 1354 of 2021.] read more

One star is too much . Never mind at the store is consistently out of normal things every other store carries Commonwealth that is if you use up service. If you actually take the time to walk inside everything you want is in there they're just too lazy to go get it. curbside service is there for customers who might be disabled or in a hurry or might have any number of reasons for not being able to go in to the store well, they turned theirs off they say the network is down but what that really means is we don't feel like going outside. If it's raining they don't go outside if there's too much sun they don't go outside if mercury is in retrograde they don't go outside. But they don't have the technology to let the customer know before they drive all the way up there that is closed. Like tonight when I walked in after putting in my pull-up order literally seven people standing in the customer service area. They said that the network is down. Then they said that there was an issue with a person in the parking lot. Well it is a parking lot and there's gonna be some people. There was nobody there caddying any issue it was a bunch of lazy thieves stealing from target by doing nothing but standing around doing absolutely nothing. Just standing and talking. It is the absolute worst target I've ever been to in this shittiest target ever and I'm from . I've seen it all but is the absolute worst. Worst customer service hands-down they don't give a crap about their customers. Their employees are getting paid to stand around their customers have to pay to do the job of the employees. If there was a smoking crater where that target used to be tomorrow would be better for it. read more

This Target is a very clean and well organized store. Easy to get to what your looking for as they have signs hanging for each department. Employees are there to help you with your needs. We happened to go when they were having their really good sale on Diapers and Wipes. They also have a Starbucks!! Major park!! read more

I was missing a bag that I mistakingly left about an hour prior to this-- I called last night 7 times to try and make sure it was there before driving back up there and seeing it wasn't busy AT ALL. One couple at the register and the cashier more the happy to help me. It was obvious the woman in customer service didn't want to deal with customers last night because she had no line and still didn't answer any of the calls... Her attitude was VERY poor. You can definitely tell she IS NOT happy with her job, my sister called 3. When I called I tried the guest department 3 times, electronics 2 times, and tried "all other departments" 2 times as well. I got 0 answers. When I walked up to customer service there was no hello, hi, how are you or nothing. Just looking at me with a very unhappy look. I proceeded to tell her I left a bag and I asked if she knew anything about it since she was in customer service and she looked at me and said "you checked out with her (points at cashier) so ask her". To where the cashier, on lane one I believe closest to the beginning of self checkout had an AMAZING attitude and was so so HAPPY I came back to get my bag... NO THANK YOU AT ALL to whoever was in customer service. People love to give an attitude but if I as a customer walked in there with the same nasty attitude I KNOW it wouldn't be appreciated when the tables turn. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

Target - I was missing a bag that I mistakingly left about an hour prior to this-- - Department Stores Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

This target was great. It was super clean, well organized and well stocked. It was well-lit and felt really clean (I know I said it once, but I'll say it again, because it really was). The lines were short and the express checkout was open and moved quickly as well. I thought they had a nice collection of home good and men's clothing- two things I always check out at Target. I'm our current times I was happy to find toilet paper and paper towel there so that was a win for me. Definitely a fan. read more

I usually love Target. This one was questionable. This one is located off of a main strip so it's relatively convenient. The store had everything we needed which is a plus. Huge negative was how disgusting both the men's and women's restrooms were. I'll spare you the worst details - but just know not to expect much if you need to use the facilities. Hard to find soap (many dispensers empty) and paper towel all over the floor. read more

Certainly not a fan of this particular Target. First of all, it's not a "Super" Target, so it lost a star right off the bat for that. On my way back from Orlando, I decided to pop in here real quick and pick up a CD for hubby that he's been wanting for quite some time. Bad decision on my part because apparently there was some big race going on at the Speedway and they were charging people to park in the Target parking lot because it is directly across the street. I was stopped as I entered the parking lot and asked if I was there for the race or to shop. I told the person I was there to shop, so they allowed me to enter the parking lot free of charge. Well... thank you very much for allowing me to park for free. Jeeeez, I hate NASCAR! Once I parked, I was annoyed because one of the parking attendants actually watched me park and then watched me walk into the store. What were they going to do? Tackle me if I walked in the other direction? Whatever. I went into the store and grabbed a frap from Starbucks. That was definitely a needed stop. I headed back to electronics to grab the CD. I thought this could be done quickly so I could get back on the road. Not so much. I knew he wanted the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis CD, but I couldn't find it. The guy who was in electronics was helping a woman who was asking a million questions about a cell phone (not even a smart phone.. just one of those burner phones) as if she'd never seen a cell phone before. I looked around and saw where one of the red phones should have been to call for assistance. Walked to it and there was no phone. Just an empty jack. I went back to where the woman was still asking questions about the burner phone and waited and waited and waited. Finally, all patience lost, I interrupted and asked if there was anyone else who worked in electronics that he could call. A guy a couple of rows over heard me and said, "I do." He came up to me and I told him what I was looking for. He'd never heard of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. For about 5 minutes, he used the little gadget in his hand to try to locate it and finally told me there was no one by the name of Macklemore and Brian Lewis. Not Brian... RYAN. So he piddled some more on his little gadget. He told me they didn't exist. OMGeeeeez!!! I whipped out my iPhone, typed it in and within 5 seconds had a photo of the CD "The Heist" on my phone. I turned it around and showed him. His response? "Oh Yeahhh... I HAVE seen that CD here." Well, what do you know. I actually did know what I was talking about after all. I grabbed said CD, paid for it, and half an hour later I finally walked out of the store. This was a half an hour AFTER I got my frap from Starbucks. Way too much time to grab a CD. I can't say that I'll ever return to this Target again. read more

Overall this is just your typical Target store. The staff is mediocre at best and a staff member in electronics, by the name of "Deuce" is by far one of the worst that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The only other thing about this store that disappoints me is that whenever a new sales advertisement goes into effect, they never have any of the sales items in stock. On certain items they will offer a rain-check and on others they offer a substitution, which is fine too. I also appreciate that Target will price match the advertised sales prices of other stores, which is also really helpful. With Target, you'll expect more, but you will also end up paying more too. read more

Worst Target experience ever! There were multiple people not wearing a mask. I understand it is not a state rule but all other Targets require a face covering while inside the store. Therefore I expected the one in Daytona to have the same rules. I have a 6 month and would like to feel comfortable bringing him outside with no additional concerns. I was very upset with Target after this experience. read more

We flew in late from Wisconsin right before closing time. Our cashier was so sweet--not at all irritated by our late arrival. We grabbed our things quickly. Too quickly it turns out. I left my phone in it's soft case with credit cards and my Id. I called when we got to our hotel. The customer service rep took my number and was very kind. She says she worked the next day and would keep an eye out. We activated lost phone mode on our phone. The next morning they called very early to say the cleaning crew had found my phone. My id abs cards were still in it. We are so grateful to the honest cleaning crew member and efficient and friendly staff. You're the best! read more

Passing through with my husband while out of town we stopped in to shop at the Daytona location. We went to the self checkout and this girl named Archer made a direct path over to our register. As we were scanning our items she stood very close behind us and, crossed her arms. She watching our every move intently. I was confused and initially thought she was there to assist us. I assured her that we did not need any help. She never smiled, replied or broke her glare. Extremely rude. We purchased over a hundred dollars worth of items and did not appreciate being made to feel like we were unwelcomed .This was so ridiculous that I went out of my way to share this experience. All of the registers were occupied however, she only focused on us and you can guess why. So now my focus will be on her. Shame on you. Archer has to get out more to know that people who steal do not all look the same. I will be sure to tell all of my colleagues, family and friends who visit Daytona to avoid this Target. read more

I purchased a television online to pick it up in the store. I picked up the television, opened it, plugged it in and there was a green stripe down the middle of the screen. I call the store to see how to get it replaced and was given the phone number to call Target.com. I called and the representative did not know what he was doing and did a replacement order but had it shipping to an address in Missouri, mind you I live in Florida. Now after he makes this error he tells me that there is no way for him to fix the shipping address. I ask to speak to a Supervisor, tell him the issue he can't fix the problem either. So now I have to go out of my way and use my gas AGAIN to return the television for a refund and was told that I can reorder the television. I will be ordering another television but it will not be from Target. I spend A LOT of money with Target but they will NEVER get another penny from me. My shopping experiences are generally good here. Not usually a lot of people in it and the staff is always helpful.

It's a good Target. It has the food section too. It is to be avoided on race weeks because of its proximity to the race track.

Maybe it's because I'm used to the fabulous Target stores in the SF Bay Area, maybe not. I find this Target to be extraordinarily deficient. I went today looking for curtains, a shelf for my bathroom, and a bed skirt. I walked all around in circles after my motorized shopping cart (knee problems) lost its charge. The young man who helped me was absolutely useless. When he took me around looking for a bathroom shelf we basically walked through camping and automotive. Once we got to the right section which I had scoured already he just said, "it would be here if we have it." Zero knowledge of where among those 5 aisles it might be, or even what I was talking about. He had a walkie talkie in his pocket and when I asked if he would call and find out which aisle he ignored my question. When I asked where the bed skirts were he was completely unfamiliar with what a bed skirt was. Even without the lame experience of working with this seemingly lazy and unknowledgable salesman, I would give this place 2 stars, and that is generous considering the experience. They are a large store and VERY understocked. It feels like a Target outlet store might feel in Po-dunk someplace. Yucky-poo! read more
