Just to help you paint a better picture, I purchase a vase, two candles and about three different Korean snacks they had in the back. This all came out to be around $85. I would recommend signing up on their website to become a member so you can enjoy the pleasantries of rewards! they usually give out free gifts with a certain amount purchase, which is pretty cool. Most recently they had an event where they would hide a golden egg in April. The golden eggs were in a hidden spot all over the store and the customers were given hints for each day in order to find said egg. I unfortunately did not find an egg but it was super fun. There were 4 eggs for each day, each egg with a different amount of money to use towards a purchase. Off the top of my head, it was $20, $50, $100. I forgot the fourth egg, but you get the jist. Also, once you come in they have complimentary coffee and tea for you to try. These are actually products that they sell in store so I would recommend checking it out and giving it a try. I ended up drinking some coffee there one day and never stopped buying the coffee from there. Again, I totally recommend coming to World Market! You'll have a "worldly" © experience! *wink wink*. Shopping here is definitely a blast from the past - seeing all the toys, magazines, glassware, and other collectables I became familiar with as a child. This store is huge (14,000 sq. ft.), you can easily spend an hour here so bring your comfortable walking shoes. Some of the items that sparked my interest included the monkey chandelier, the Mozart bust sculpture, the hand standing lamp, Fritz's Nussknacker Standl, the Playboy limited edition collectables, the world coin map, and the variety of vintage ceramic Christmas trees (my mom used to make these when I was a kid). The staff were exceptional on our visit. They wrapped our gifts, and also provided directions to other stores like this one close to the area. Small store with lots of creative home furnishings and furniture. Now they are in a much larger location which has allows the visitor to really take in all the magnificent pieces that are available for a very modest price. The store also sells Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral paints and other items (which are also used to upcycle furniture and home decor). The owner is very knowledgeable and has invested a great amount of her artistic talent in the items for sale. And if you would like to try your hand at upcycling some furniture that you have, there are periodic classes which teach you how to use the different products by Dixie Belle. I almost forgot, keep an eye on her calendar on the website because there are some very fun classes that you can meet with others and just have a great time and take home something wonderful for your home.
