He immediately dispatched a wrecker-truck to retrieve the car. The wrecker driver from Buddy's Towing, was very careful getting my car up onto the wrecker truck bed, and took it to Honest 1. Brad's people evaluated the damage, told me what parts were needed, and what the total estimated repair cost would be. Repairs completed by Wednesday afternoon, they sent a courtesy car to bring me up to get the car. Brad made this whole ordeal totally painless. The reason for the "cool down period" was because this was one of the most stressful times of my life and I had to separate emotion from reasoning when making my assessment. The truth is, after speaking with others who have gone through the same problems with their cars especially those that have gone to some other tire/alignment shops to get their cars worked on, I found that my experience was normal and even on the less stressful side of the coin because of this particular shop. One thing that separates this TIRE SHOP (BIG L TIRES (DAYTONA BEACH) and their staff from others was the preparation they put in for all of the problems on my 2013 Cadillac Escalade "IF ANY" that came up at the end. They always had a plan B and kept me posted just in case we should go a different route. I must say, they had this thing in LOCKED from every angle. This could have been a much more stressful experience, but they separated themselves from the rest right away. The service representative (Victor), and the service manager (Victor) LOL, / they both had excellent customer service skills and practically called me every time there was another issue with my truck to update me and give me options and the things I needed to know about the work they were doing. They told me they would be available to answer any questions or address any concerns at ANY time, and I tested those hours frequently just to make sure they were on the ball. These guys at BIG L TIRES DAYTONA BEACH never got impatient with me and babied me through the process, despite my lack of understanding most of the time. When I couldn't get the manager on the phone immediately, one of his staff members or even the service manager (Victor) always stepped up and fielded the call to assist me. The Alignment technicians worked incessantly to make sure they met their deadline to get me back on the road and back to Jacksonville. I wanted to review this shop honestly and fairly and not base my assessment on the level of stress during my vehicle out of commission time. The truth is it is supposed to be stressful to an extent. Bottom line----If you want a TIRE OR ALINGMENT SHOP that will go to war for you in order to help you get your vehicle back on the road and that knows how to treat you like an individual and not a prospective paycheck, plus reasonable prices, this is the shop for you. I definitely didn't want to have this work done by the dealership after experiencing lengthy delays and weeks in the shop for the simplest repairs and service. My insurance company Progressive provided me with a quick response and evaluation and left it up to me to find the Body Shop of my choosing. After doing some research and making an appointment with Todd's Auto Body and after meeting Todd and Shelly I knew these guys were definitely the ones for the job. They are also RVer's so they understood I didn't want to leave my RV away from my home any longer than absolutely necessary. They ordered all the parts required to complete the work and met with the insurance adjuster prior to requesting I bring our MotorCoach to their shop for repairs- once everything was in place the work was completed in only a few days which is exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the paint and workmanship was nothing less than outstanding, Shelly is a great communicator and provided me with updates during the entire process starting from our first introduction and Todd is such a professional and master craftsman, the entire process exceeded my expectations and I'm so lucky I found them. A few months after having the vehicle, it started to have problems like ticking and engine lights coming on,. My mother-in-law also needed a new transmission and was told she needed a new engine shortly after having the vehicle. I ended up dumping a lot of money in the vehicle i had and as well as my in law. I was told by them that i would need to go to a bigger dealership to trade out of the vehicle. If you are situation interested in short term wheels this is the place, but the vehicles are unreliable and a waste of money.
