And somehow, that baby grew up to become the most entertaining roadside stop in America. Let's start with the food. Fantastic selection, fresh options and enough variety to make you question why you ever thought a gas station meant settling for a questionable hot dog that's been spinning since breakfast. Want jerky? There's an entire WALL of it. And not just the packaged stuff. There's fresh jerky in the cases, too. It's practically a beef lover's paradise. Hungry? They've got you covered. Need a snack? Covered. Want to buy a T-shirt, sweatshirt, hat or enough Buc-ee's merchandise to outfit an entire family reunion? Oh, they've got that covered, too. The apparel selection alone could qualify as its own department store. And somehow, despite selling gas, food, groceries, snacks, clothing and just about everything else you didn't know you needed, it doesn't feel like a gas station at all. It's clean, enormous, organized and an experience in its own right. Most gas stations are places you stop because you HAVE to. Buc-ee's is a place you stop because you WANT to.
