Today we stopped by Wawa (Mason Avenue), for a quick breakfast, before going shopping. My husband got a burrito with egg, beef and cheddar cheese on a wrap. The only difference he would do next time is add sauce. Cold. Brew and was very satisfied with his breakfast, I got a Hash Brown from the front counter, hence "front counter" Hash Brown was soggy, good but soggy., and purchase a Diet Coke. This is a very poorly run location. As with many places I visit a a Door Dasher, the employees are doing their best, but management, and the lack of proper staffing, are failing them. This is especially apparent in the food preparation area, which is understaffed, and and easily overwhelmed by the volume of orders, which creates unacceptably long wait times. Poor management, training, and performance are problems that could be fixed, but the I'll likely continue due to apathy. read more

This place gets a 3 stars for me. It was bike weekend and there were bikers everywhere! I waited until some of them pumped their gas and left before going inside. If you've ever been in a wawa - it looks completely identical to the others. The staff are always somewhat courteous. I always go for the lemonade and sandwiches. Shockingly - they were nasty. Running, the reps took forever to make. I am from philly so hoagies are my thing! Yuck. I could not believe both sandwiches were nasty LOL the bread was hard as if it was stale. Even the pretzels. Nothing was soft baked. It was just flat out hard as a rock. The only good thing was that they offered sweet peppers. This is a rare pepper apparently and not found in many places in Georgia so I was delighted. They also accept Apple Pay! A plus for contactless payments. The gas prices were reasonable so for those reasons and the nice store selection, I'll be voting a 3 star. Would I go back? Definitely. It's wawa LOL read more

The customer service at this location is atrocious. The clerk gave me the wrong item. She put it in a bag and when I handed the bag to the person with me, she noticed the item was wrong. I immediately walked back into the store and asked for an exchange, the manager, Heather, refused. The clerk lied to her in front of me, denying she put the wrong item in the bag. I asked her to watch the store video, but she refused that as well. I visit Wawa several times a week, but I won't be going to this location ever again. read more

The manager here scheduled one poor young lady for the Saturday night shift. I can verify that it was busy. Between door dash and all the orders people put in, there were 6 of us waiting around for our order and one very hard working person putting it all together. I was super impressed with the young lady behind the counter all by herself, less so with her manager who didn't feel the need to schedule enough people to work and so this poor young lady was running to try to fill far too many orders for one person to fill. Classic disconnect between the people that actually do the work and those who fail to manage them. Get her some help, will ya? You look incompetent or like this Wawa is failing so bad they can't schedule people for the work that needs to be done. Make a decision or get another job. read more

Not one of their best locations but I needed gas before hitting A1A so I ended up here. There's a lot of sketchy stuff going on here so it's not as welcoming as their other locations. The selection here I noticed is a bit less stocked and maintained than what I'm used to seeing at the WAWA's I've visited in the past. The clerk seemed to have an attitude but I was already numb at that point-I just wanted my Perrier and gas. Usually people rant and rave about their food but I didn't see this locale as being a true representation of what WAWA can truly be. However, gas is gas and they also have diesel so it can come in handy for certain people. If I could've skipped it, I would have but I don't like driving with my gas light on so my visit was unavoidable. read more

I spent $500 a month at Wawa I save all my receipts and I've been adding them up I go every night in the middle of the night and I get a smoothie because I can't have anything dairy cuz I just got I just cancer removed from my colon and I go up there and not only do I buy smoothies I buy other things as well so this Maureen manager as soon as Ian leaves wants to go back to charging me $2.50 for a phone call after I just paid $5 for a smoothie I get it put I like to have the phone cut so it does it doesn't melt the second I walk out the door and it stays Frozen like a smoothie should stay frozen it's not supposed to be watered down I went in there and bought four smoothies the other night and I heard Maureen saying nothing but rude and nasty things about me doing that and then again tonight I go in and I order one and I go when I get it and she has another attitude I guess tells the cashier that now it's back the pain two dollars and 11 cents again for the our 50 cents again for the cup because Ian's left the store you need to have a new manager and I don't know why you guys allow family to work together anyway that's unbelievable you got such better employees that work harder and treat your customers and your good customers with the respect they deserve instead you hire that to work overnight to treat your customers like trash​​​​​ read more

What a nice treat when we saw the Wawa sign across the road. This is a fairly new Wawa and they had no presence on Yelp!. I took care of that in a jiffy. I asked a few questions and they were up and running. My wife and I had just finished having lunch. We knew that Wawa was still running their one dollar coffee special. So offer went. Not nice....i have shopped here a few mornings.....i sit at table outside masked drinking large hot coffee often eating breakfast.... quietly. Maybe on phone....this week a few strange males with suitcases and bags sit very long at other tables.....they attempt to speak to me, i ignore them and tell them not to speak to me....others often hang out , smoke etc....this short, plump, blonde Caucasian employee, frizzy hair about 57 storms out as im drinking coffee. Tells me im taking too long i should leave. How rude....it may be racism. Im very tan and part middle eastern. I state nicely. Mam im quietly having coffee and breakfast. She goes in nasty tone . Times up. How sad in 2021 there is this treatment to people from other places....i took pic of her sign. No time limit....she picks and chooses who to be rude to...awful...cashiers inside pleasant. I normally love Wawa, but this location is in an extremely sketchy section of town. Always full of homeless, drug dealers and prostitutes just sitting around begging for money and doing who knows what else. The fueling area is basically clean. The pumps accept NFC payments including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. As well as traditional NFC enabled cards. Fuel is always priced in line with surrounding stations. The store is also very clean and the associates inside are always welcoming. Overall I would CAUTION anyone from visiting this location out of safety. Not a safe area at all! read more

I don't like writing weak reviews but I must say this Wawa was not what I had become accustomed to! I lived in MD and they were awesome so I had expected the same at this location in Daytona. I was there around 6:30pm and wanted some of their FAMOUS coffee, they were basically out for the evening. No Hazelnut , no regular, no Columbian! When I ask if they had any brewed in the back I was told they basically stop having coffee that late. So I go to plan B, purchase a bag of Hazelnut coffee and take back with me to brew in my room, guess what, they were pretty much out of bag coffee also. NO Hazelnut, no Columbian, all they had on display was regular blend and Pumpkin spice blend. On the wall behind the coffee station was some Hazelnut blend bags and the employee did let me buy those but when I got to the register the scan codes were covered over with a sticker , hand written NOT FOR SALE! Along with the expire date blacked out. I gambled and took them anyway and luckily they aren't stale and the coffee is awesome just as I remembered from MD. The inside of the store was well lite and stocked pretty good however the outside was a bit seedy and I had concern of the security of my car while I was inside. I will not be back there on future trips, I will order my coffee bags online since I don't have a Wawa location within hundreds of miles of my home read more

This can finally be a nice establishment now that DBPD has gotten rid of all the homeless who liked to camp out on the benches here. Now it's clean, quiet, and plenty of pumps so you never wait. The quick and good food selection keeps me coming back daily, not to mention a great variety of coffee. This Wawa isn't in the tradition of any Wawa I've been to. I grew up in Philadelphia and have probably been to 300 different Wawas in my life. This is by and far the way the worst service, cleanliness, and just all around atmosphere for a Wawa I've been in. I'm sure they will stay busy because it's the only gas station around. this wawa was so much fun!! i went to go potty in the bathroom because i was on my way to the beach from butt fuck montana. it always smells like ass n pussy in montana and that's exactly what the bathroom smelled like. i felt right at home!! i'm not sure if it was the diarrhea on the walls or nice air fresheners in the urinals but it was super nice to feel back at home for a little while. anyway i went and took my massive shit in the trash can and carried ab ordering my food. i ordered something called a burger. i've never heard of one before so i thought i would give it a try. i also bought juice hoping it would taste like rotten cheese and dirt. but it literally didn't. i just wanted to taste my childhood again. i miss eating mud pies. i also got gummy worms. lemme tell you. tasted nothing like worms. i just want something authentic. maybe i would have been better off eating the mulch on the side of the store itself. i just want something real. but the workers were oh so nice. they kept asking me if i was okay and that i should probably drink a water. maybe they could smell the big dookie i just took. so happy to know they care. anyway. moral of story. i love the stinkiness of the bathroom. j reallt hope the beach smells just as stinky when i make it there someday. read more
