Fantastic selection, fresh options and enough variety to make you question why you ever thought a gas station meant settling for a questionable hot dog that's been spinning since breakfast. Want jerky? There's an entire WALL of it. And not just the packaged stuff. There's fresh jerky in the cases, too. It's practically a beef lover's paradise. Hungry? They've got you covered. Need a snack? Covered. Want to buy a T-shirt, sweatshirt, hat or enough Buc-ee's merchandise to outfit an entire family reunion? Oh, they've got that covered, too. The apparel selection alone could qualify as its own department store. And somehow, despite selling gas, food, groceries, snacks, clothing and just about everything else you didn't know you needed, it doesn't feel like a gas station at all. Well, I was already impressed with the parking layout because they were so roomy compared to the tight spaces we have at my local Costco. They also had plenty of shopping carts, as if no one was there to shop - and we came on a weekend! Anyway, it wasn't busy like the ones in SoCal so it was nice perusing the aisles. My coworker was looking to get a longsleeve for the office and she found something cute - in pink - for a decent price. I, too, found something cute shirts to bring back to my two nieces who were starting middle school. And, I even found some Lindt Chocolates for under $7!!! Those normally go for $19.99 a bag. I picked up one bag to share with my local team and everyone loved it! I came back on a second trip to buy two more bags to bring home. I mean, why not? I'd buy more if I had more room in my luggage. Haha Anyway, the food court had the same items as our local Costco. I tried the new chicken tenders but they were just regular chicken tenders. Nothing outstanding and nothing bad - just regular chicken tenders. The workers were really quick and efficient. Overall, really spacious Costco that's well-organized with spacious parking spaces - and maybe even a good deal or two!
