This is a nice local brewery. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. Half if these breweries are dirty, so I mention this. I like the fact that they'll play your records. The beer selection is solid. There is a style for just about everyone. I personally like their two sours/tarts, Evil Emile and Summer Sun. My favorite is their award winning stout, Wall of Sound. Everyone who works there is pretty cool but Nicole is the best. All and all a cool place to drink some solid beer. For only being around a year they're doing pretty good. read more

I really liked the setup of Stereo and that they have an actual record player that plays vinyl. Like, it's not for show but really there's Pandora or something else happening. You can even bring in your vinyl and they'll play it for you. That's pretty cool! They haven't been open too long so they don't have a crazy lineup of different beers yet. We tried a flight of everything and everything was good. It wasn't great, but it was good. The only one that I absolutely didn't like was the ginger one. But, I like ginger in small amounts. I really liked the Robot Red because it wasn't obnoxiously hopped like other Reds. I also liked the Wall of Sound Stout. Even as an oatmeal stout, it didn't have that heavy and slightly bitter taste like other oatmeal stouts. The IPA and Pale Ales were both pretty balanced and weren't palate wreckers. I think this is one of those places that you can go with people that are just getting into craft beer and aren't ready for anything too crazy. The service was great and I think they will grow into becoming a really awesome brewery. read more

The bartender and one of the owners they both were very attentive, we spent most of our talking to them, first day in L.A. they gave us some good suggestions to do in the area. Two stars for the beers, third one for the atmosphere, ambience, and attitude. Concept, music ad naming beers after songs is a cool idea. The tasters of their eight beer on tap were an interesting combo trying to appeal to all tastes. No sours, yet. All tasters lost flavor as they warmed up. We tried pints of the best ones: Scottish and Ginger Wheat. Unfortunately, the pints didn't hold the flavor. read more

Having been to other breweries in the area I would probably skip this one. I'm not a huge IPA fan, so I was not really into the line up here. All the beers had a similar after taste that bothered me. Also, they were all very much the same, save the ginger beer. The ginger was so prominent it felt like I was eating a piece of it whole. The brewery itself was great. They seemed to have food trucks scheduled and board games to use while you drank. Several tv's were on the walls throughout and it was very clean. I personally wouldn't try this place again, but others may enjoy what they have to offer. read more

I was lucky enough, to have received an invite, to Stereo Brewing's Preview Night! I co-admin the Placentia Buzz Facebook page, so connecting via social media, is always a good call. The place was easy to find, with the major cross streets, being Miraloma and Lakeview. There is plenty of parking, in this large, industrial area. The entry way is spacious, with decorative signs, plenty of seating, and a simple menu of craft beers. I decided on a 16 ounce, Blonde on Blonde, for starters. It was light, refreshing, and had just enough kick, alcohol content wise. My next choice was a 4 ounce, Hazy Jane II, which was delicious. You gotta really be a ginger fan, to dig this, which I am! They peeled and juiced 60 pounds of ginger, and it's spot on. I even took a Crowler home, of the stuff. They sell glasses, crowlers, and glass ones (64 ounces), plus souvenier tshirts and other merchandise, too. The music playing in the background, was loud enough to enjoy and feel like you were at a great party, but still chill enough that you could carry on a conversation around. I'm certainly looking forward to returning here again, soon! I can't make their Grand Opening, this Saturday, but if you have the time, GO! They'll have food trucks, music, and dancing! Great new addition to Yorba Linda! This place is not far off the Lakeview freeway exit. Super friendly staff and good beer. I especially liked the Hazy Jane ginger wheat and the robot imperial red ale. They will let you try whatever you want and if you still can't decide, get a flight. They have a bunch of games available to keep you entertained. Fun music playing and a lively vibe, especially for a weeknight. read more

Amanda and Rick are super cool and know a ton about beer...they truly live the craft and put out only the best. Eight beers on tap from Kolsch to Stout and even a collaboration brew. Of course have to try them all. Tasting room is typical fare, board games, picnic tables, sports on the telly. I liked the retro vinyl music, but the overall theme is more typically modern. Maybe would like it more if the whole vibe was 60s or 70s. We got the sampler, and trust, if you drink at good places like bottle logic, bootlegger, dudes and 4sons, steer clear if this place--- it's just like the other places that serve sub par inconsistent and pallet disturbing beer (if I can call it that) that keep popping up.
