I called three different times and their "answering service" told me they were not accepting messages so I would need to speak to them directly. 10/19/18. Very bad experience ! I Do not recommend this doctor because this is what you will go…read morethrough . You fill out a ton of paperwork and then realize there is only one receptionist and that's it ! Norma His receptionist makes all the decisions for this doctor, she is not a license nurse . Does not call you back , uses her personal e mail to receive your personal info and is rude and very hard to communicate with. The doctor may be a good doctor but I was operated on a hernia as he called it a small hernia ( it's still a surgery ) there is a normal 6 week recovery on a hernia operation and his receptionist wanted me to return to work in 6 days !!! I called and demanded at least 2 to 3 weeks recovery as I was promised during my initial visit , the receptionist would not let me talk to the doctor , she thinks she's the Doctor . I had to scream at her to let me talk to my doctor . I returned for a follow up to see Dr. Hartz (16 days ) after my surgery and told him I was still sore and sensitive in the operated area and asked him for one more week before returning to work .. he became upset and said that I am making him look bad and I've been trying to stretch this out that I needed to get back to work ??? Compleately unprofecional and rude . He repeated that he was trying to do the right thing ??? Whatever that means ! He demanded that I'd return to work 18 days after my operation . The scabs haven't even completely healed . Dual standard Doctor with a nice guy bad guy attitude, a antiquated practice and a rude receptionist . ( If my surgery rips open because I returned to work to soon we will be having a different conversation Dr. Hartz ) "Allow your paying patients to return to work with confidence not inderectcly accuse them of being scammers ". Included are pictures of my stomach 6 days after my surgery as his receptionist felt I should get back to work . Bruised and swollen . And Dr Hartz tells me to my face during a follow up 16 days after surgery , I am trying to make him look bad ! . I need to get back to work . I told him I don't feel fully healed that I'm not 100 % he did not care he said no no you need to get back to work you're making me look bad . Beware! This is what you will go through . I will not ever return to this doctor and his practice. Tony !

The 40s have brought bags to my eyes among many other joys of aging (i partly blame my 3 children…read more:)). One of my friends mentioned she had a great consultation with Dr. Tamara Fountain about a lower blepharoplasty so I decided to do the same. I also noticed that she was highly recommended on a fb group i had joined all about blepharoplasty, although the pics of people post surgery on that fb group were enough to make me want to cancel my appointment. I was able to get an appointment a few weeks after calling. Her office is conveniently located near my house, which I liked since the other doctors i was referred to were in the city or far suburbs. I was seen within minutes of arriving for my appointment. They did an eyesight test which i wasn't expecting and didn't put my contacts in that morning (and my glasses were in the car). So i highly recommend bringing any corrective eyewear you have. Dr. Fountain did a great job of explaining why i have bags (thank you genetics). She then told me she didn't think I needed surgery for many years and I really appreciated her honesty. She did show me some more post surgery pics to properly scare me about future surgery, but I do appreciate knowing what I would be getting myself into. She suggested looking into med spa treatments and even gave me some names (one located within her office) and said to come back years from now...and in the meantime to send my mom. :) Overall, I was really impressed with the way she explained everything and her honesty. I'd highly recommend if on the hunt for an ophthalmologist.
