Had to buy some temple sleeves to relieve the pressure off the ears. There doesn't seem to be a good solution to solve this due to my prescription causes the lens to be heavy the middle.. kind of frustrating. Adjustments don't seem to help a lot just a little so I do need the ear padding sleeves.

First of all, I have been a patient of doctor Szewczyk for many years and have to admit that the quality of care is just outstanding. Doctor Szewczyk is never rushed and takes a holistic care of her patients. Few times, thank to her detailed tests (and advanced technology she is using), doctor identified several health issues that were outside of her area of expertise and I will always be thankful for that. I feel good that every time I have my annual check-up I see some new & best in class technology that is being used to examine my eyes condition and health - this means to me that I am at the right place since the care is evolving and I want my doctors to follow new technologies/research/innovations. Lastly, I only purchased two pairs of frames (in 8 years) and they last forever! I am still using both to work and continue to receive many compliments (the person that works at IFEC spent hours to help me find perfect frames, was patient and never rushed me, even recommended I come back in few weeks to get the perfect style and I got it!... so I don't have a need to change frames for a "better model"). Doctor is a genuine, kind, experienced professional and has a great reputation. Frankly, I never pay attention to the receptionist since my focus is always on the doctor expertise, but they always been very patient-focused, nice, friendly and I never experienced what others in reviews listed below. I work downtown so on many occasions I had to see other doctors for immediate care and when it happens I am always checking if IFEC didn't expand their location to downtown area (I wish, since i never get the same level of quality and care from other doctors/places around my office). Doctor's focus has been always on quality of care and best outcome for her patients. I never felt pushed to spend money at the clinic - actually I am saving my money (by being doctor Szewczyk patient I am getting a significant discount for LASIK procedure at Kraff institute - I was so positively surprised, thank you doctor for recommending this procedure/place to me!!) 'Larry' at their prescription services reported that CGC requires $50 from patients before they will release scrips. The Federal Trade Commission's 2024 'Eyeglass Rule', makes charging a fee for release of patient prescription ILLEGAL. I intend to report them to the FTC for being in violation.
