Dr. Hungerford was recommended to me by several people. I was so beyond disappointed in her…read more I just moved here and have tried to find a reputable OBGYN. I tried two different clinics, each with their own horror story, I had yet to actually see a doctor. I made my appointment about a month out. I had requested the first appointment of the day, but was advised that those were booked out far in advance. Bummer. The next day the clinic called me to reschedule - and low and behold I could get the first appointment. So, the day before the day, I was called like normal to be reminded of my appointment and could I please arrive early. No problem. I get there at 7:15. They take me back for my weight, blood pressure, etc. They take me to the room and advise me to stay dressed because since I am a new patient the doctor will want to talk to me first. No problem. I it now 7:40 or so. I wait. And, wait. a little after 8:00 the nurse that took my vitals advises me that the doctor "is on her way" and that it should be only a few more minutes. No problem. Now, it is 8:15, no doctor. The nurse comes back again, and "the doctor is on her way, she is very sorry that she is stuck in traffic". I'm thinking, "well, you live in Chicago, you know about Chicago's traffic, you should have planned for this". But, okay, no problem. So I sit. And sit. And sit. Now it's 8:55 and no doctor. No check in since the last check in, and by now I'm livid. I have been sitting there for an hour waiting. All I could think of is why in the hell didn't this doctor say that she was going to be too late and reschedule me instead of making me wait? Or, why doesn't the clinic have another doctor that is there come in and help me? Neither of which happens. So, I leave the room, and walk around trying to find someone to find out where in the hell this doctor is! And, I'm met with the same excuse, "the doctor is on her way". I asked for an appointment the same day - specifically I asked for an appointment an hour after the doctor's last appoointment to see how she likes to wait around for her patients. Livid doesn't begin to describe tmy anger at that time. I went back to the room to calm down a bit and another doctor (finally!) comes in to apologize and offers to conduct the physical. At this point, I cannot because I had already spent the amount of time that I had allotted waiting for the doctor to show up! This doctor never apologized to me. Never called to offer an apology, an explanation. I cannot believe that she was recommended to me! I understand that this was a one-time event for her, but this was my introduction to her, and it left more than a sour taste in my mouth. I would NEVER go back to this doctor again. Unprofessional. Very unprofessional.

Reason for visit: Acne…read more Pros: 1. Able to make an appointment within a few days of phone call Cons: 1. Awful, lazy, rude staff. 2. Careless uninterested doctor 3. Terrible inconvenient office hours 4. No follow ups regarding test results or appointments 5. Staff does not answer the phones in a timely manner 6. Patient has to call for any follow ups and to get an explanation regarding test results. 7. Long wait period to receive test results. Overview: When I met w/ Dr. Subhani for the initial visit, she did spend a decent amount of time w/me but seemed uninterested in hearing what I had to say regarding my acne. I asked her to do a hormonal blood test and her attitude said that was a waste of time. She had already determined my hormone levels were normal because I'm not fat. But she did a blood test anyway because that was the main reason for the visit. She didn't want to give me any type of solution either for the acne. I had to ask her for antibiotics or something to start working on the problem. The blood test results took a couple weeks. The staff called and quickly stated the results are normal and hung up. I have no idea what they tested for. What did I pay for? When I called back to get more info on the test and maybe get a prescription, the staff didn't know what to go over or what to say nor would get the doc on the phone. Days later, when the doctor finally called back like I asked, she too had nothing to say and seemed hella irritated. Maybe I had to pay another $150 for her to talk. Seeing her was a total waste of money. She's just another doc. in the field for the money.

Would absolutely recommend anyone become a patient of Dr. Krishnan. The only negative thing I have to say is that it can be difficult to get an appointment through Edward/Elmhurst/Endeavor, and their billing is awful. BUT I can't blame the physician for that, and when we first started at Elmhurst hospital it was not the corporate conglomerate it has become, she is the only reason we have stayed with that organization. If she leaves EEHealth we will be leaving as well.

I had not been to a physician for an annual check up since prior to college when it was mandatory,…read morebut figured it was about time (currently in my late 20's). I was dreading the appointment because typically doctors reprimand you for your lifestyle (i.e. If you have more than 2 drinks per month you're an alcoholic, etc.) and it's demeaning with respect to social standards. I try to keep healthy but I'm not perfect. Anyway, Dr. Pearson was the first doctor I've been to who treated me like a real person & listened intently to my concerns. She spent over 30 minutes with me (again, this was just a proactive check up) and by the time I left I felt like a VIP patient. Then within a few days after the appointment, she personally called me to deliver my test results (all positive) and patiently walked me through each section, explaining areas I did not understand. Moreover, she talks to you in layman terms, translating the medical jargon into coherent facts. I'm actually excited that I have such a wonderful regular physician! I certainly won't be dreading my regular checkups anymore. Seriously, Dr. Pearson is the best!!
