I love leaving positive reviews, but I don't want anyone, to go through what I went through under her care (or lack there of). I was so truly hoping my search for a PCP was finally over, after months of researching, making calls etc, the bottom review is after my 1st visit, but after 2nd visit, the doctor turned out to be just as uncaring, neglectful and arrogant as most others. She cuts me off when I try to tell her what is going on, she won't listen to anything I have to say, she knows better. She is the doctor. I guess she lives in her patients bodies that she knows it ALL. Also... Since when do doctors need approval every month for thyroid medicine, every single month? It's NOT a controlled substance, it is something people with almost no thyroid need to function daily. Every bottle says: "no refills, call doctor for approval", however, it took her over 3 months to return a call to the pharmacy and even though I went into a thyroid storm and was suffering terribly, gained more weight and am losing hair like crazy, she takes months to refill it. I called 4 times over the months begging her and her nurses to call in my medicine, leaving pitiful nearly crying messages, etc, NOTHING! She also thinks she knows better than a renowned endocrinologist, and tries to change my medicine. I had extensive tests done by him, not a simple th and t3 t4 tests you give me. I have been taking thyroid medicine since I was 5 yrs old, after 2 surgeries, nearly removing all of my thyroid, second surgery was to remove growths off my thyroid area, I finally found the right one that really makes me feel better, and she tries to change it. I don't think so. I will listen to a specialist over a young chick doctor. My thyroid does not convert t4 into t3, so the standard t4 meds do NOTHING for me. Please stop trying to put thyroid patients on meds that do not help and make us miserable and worse. She finally, after over 3 months calls in my right medication, but she changes my dosage to half the dose. The dose my endocrinologist prescribed was proper for my needs, when I take it as he prescribed, I have no tubules growing, I don't lose my hair, I don't gain weight and my blood results are very good. The minute I start saving my pills and taking less, or a doctor thinks they know better than a specialist with 35 years experience and gives me less, I start feeling worse losing my hair gaining weight and my throat starts getting lumps. Vicious cycle with these young docs. I do not appreciate being ignored or dismissed. We know our bodies especially after 50 years. Again I was so sick with covid at the end of Nov 2021, my mom was praying and was positive I was going to die, I didn't eat anything, I mean nothing at all. just took sips of water and slept for weeks, I was so sick for over a month and I called her and my mom called her, not ONE returned call. Thank our dear loving God I am still alive, it took a while but this doctor does not deserve to take care of patients. I even wrote to the Amita network about how she neglects and ignores me, and I doubt I am the only one, they do not care. I am searching for another PCP. I am disabled and have a spinal damage and she is sending me to these huge places where the parking lots are humongous and I told her I can't walk even from her parking lot to her office without being in excruciating pain, she expects me to walk for a mile without a wheel chair. She has no idea what it's like to be in horrible pain and makes you feel like you need to toughen up. If she was in the pain I am pushing through every minute of every day, she would be laying in bed popping pain pills. Please. Learn to listen and stop interrupting, you may actually learn something about your patient and be able to help them. In the few months she was my PCP she spend 8 min with me, total, together across 3 visits. I've seen medical students and nurses more than I saw her, and when she came to the room she would cut me off and rush my appointment. I am very hurt. I thought my national would be like my previous doctor I had for 26 years. Wrong! I have gotten the worst care from her, than I EVER got from anyone. Gosh, I miss Dr. Zamirowski. The best, most efficient, most caring Dr. ever lived. He was mine and my boys doctor for over 26 years. He retired. It was the worst day ever. Please, if you are considering this doctor for your pcp, because of her reviews, think twice if you are really sick, have any chronic, or serious conditions and need real care from an "experienced, knowledgeable" doctor. She is ok for colds, etc; but don't count on her with something real and serious, or in dire need. I showed her SSA and a court decision that I am permanently disabled and she still gave me a 6 month parking placard. And she does NOT care about knowing you, her office is part of a corporation, it's a business, not a caring doctors office. She is just nice enough to keep giving her chances, but I am not gullible. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Indyk for a number of years and she's a wonderful physician. Very attentive, knows the details of my medical issues and it's obvious that she's invested in my well being. Certainly one of the best PCPs I've had over the years - I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a PCP, she's certainly given me the care I looked for. Her office is busy, but staffed well, the front end staff are very accomodating for last minute visits and to work around my schedule which is great. The facilities are very nice as well, a standard doctors office but clean and welcoming. Highly recommended. read more

I needed a new primary care & saw/met Dr. Indyk recently who I absolutely fell in love with. There's nothing like that internal sigh of relief as you feel without a doubt that you are in great hands. Super personable, sweet, caring, knowledgeable, very attentive & overall just a nice person & awesome doctor. Not to mention down to earth and so easy to talk to. She's the kind of Dr. that gives you her medical recommendations but still listens to your concerns and tries to help in any way she can to see that those are all met & helped. I had some big questions for her, a lot of medical questions actually & she was absolutely great through it all w/thoroughness and clear feedback. So glad to have found a PCP that I know is reliable on so many levels & someone I feel completely secure with for something as important as my health. Thx Doc! Very disappointed in the way they handle their patients w emergencies. They will not accommodate you or work with your schedule. If they offer you an appointment and you can't make it, they refuse to cooperate or offer you an alternative or plan B, instead they refer you to an immediate care facility. If I wanted an immediate care clinic I would have called it instead of calling their office... the least they could have done was offer to set me up w another doctor at their facility, or an available attending PA, if they have one. I can't fathom how a clinic can leave a patient to deal w their medical issue when the doctor has a medical obligation to follow through w an acute issue... The schedule is always fully booked a few months out. The doctor is nice, but the way she runs her clinic will most likely leave you feeling very unsatisfied. I fired her as my doctor. I recommend choosing someone else w a more flexible schedule. If this clinic can leave me high and dry for after 3 years being their patient... imagine what they can do to you..... think about it.
