Two weeks later I had a stroke ,luckily TIA but still had to have therepy to talk and walk,etc. I was in bed or on the couch every day as rest helps heal the brain, you will be exhausted all day. I got a jury's summons and asked her for a note seeing I could not function nor drive, which she should have known from the check ins. I then got an email at 1:30 in the morning (which I didn't know till the next day) demanding me to go as it was my duty!! Now remember, I am sleeping most the day and no driving. She is supposed to protect me as my dr.,but demanding I go to jury duty when I am incapacitated. And that is MY decision for jury duty, not her demands. I did report her to the practice and got no response. Never went back

I don't really have any big complaints with the physicians themselves. I do, however, have a couple bones to pick with the office staff. With the exception of a few people in the front office, the overall attitude is poor. It seems as though the moral is low, or they don't like each other, and they certainly don't like their patients. One of the women took my co-pay and went to get change. I stood there waiting as I watched her stand in the back for FIVE minutes chatting about nothing. Some of the women are also incredibly rude and insulting when attempting to schedule an appointment or leave a message for your physician. There are two lovely people who handle the admin/reception duties, but they aren't always there. And the lab staff is friendly. Overall excellent physicians with generally crummy staff. Not certain how much longer I want to deal with it.

During the visit, I waited approximately 20 minutes in the examination room before Dr. Szabo…read morearrived. During the appointment, I asked five questions regarding my health concerns; only two were addressed, and the responses provided were brief and insufficient. The examination itself was limited to vital signs. Dr. Szabo then indicated that she would return shortly, but instead a nurse entered the room. I asked the nurse whether Dr. Szabo could return to address my remaining questions, and the nurse stated that she would locate her. After waiting an additional 30 minutes without an update, we left the examination room and observed Dr. Szabo at her workstation. When the nurse again attempted to check whether Dr. Szabo was available, Dr. Szabo screamed/responded harshly that I "was supposed to leave 30 minutes ago." At that point, my remaining questions had still not been addressed, and I left the office without receiving the consultation expected from the visit. Including commute time, the appointment required nearly two hours and concluded without resolution of my medical concerns.

I feel bad that our first experience at urgent care went that bad for my child and for me. Only the girls at the front desk were nice and actually felt bad for us and were trying to help. Within a span of a couple of hours, I get a notification from my credit card company that there is a suspected fraudulent activity on my card. Someone had attempted to charge a plane ticket thru Southwest Airlines. I don't think that someone needs to be a rocket scientist to figure out who was attempting to make that fraudulent charge. Shame on you Mr. Aijaz. And shame on AFC Urgent Care Morton Grove.

My insurance suggested i see Dr. Brull…read more Im changing insurances. Walked in, was given paperwork and handed my ID and Insurance card. Standard for a doctors office. I was filling out paperwork when Dr. Brull comes and starts yelling and screaming at the front office staff and one of the nurses. I make eye contact with Dr. Brull she closes the main door; were patients walk through to go to the exam rooms and tells the gentleman to close the glass window. She continues to scream. About spelling errors someone texted her and using too much paper. What? I felt very uncomfortable. I turned in my paperwork and was given back my information. The girls were sweet. I was called to the back, the nurse (that was screamed at) brought me to be weighed and check my height. She was sweet, i felt bad so i started a conversation with her, as we walked back to the exam room. Dr. Brull comes out, all red in the face, angry, gave me a half smile. Saying "good help is hard to come by"......im sorry what? You speak that way to your staff? and verbally attack them IN FRONT OF PATIENTS ALSO?? Waited for Dr. Brull to come in, she apologized how her staff is under staff, a nurse left recently because of a death in her family. We talked about my concerns, i started to bring up another symptom/issue i was having She held her palm up to my face. And said one problem, one visit at a time. Schedule a follow up to discuss another symptom/issue. (obviously she would like to get paid for a separate diagnosis) What In the World for the 3rd time. Seriously? I told her why do you feel you can speak to anyone that way? Why?Do you actually have patients who come back? whom are happy with your service? your caring understanding compassion as a physician? She looked at me, smiled, with her annoying bob hair cut. And told me shes more than welcome to have another physician to see me. Then Comes Dr. Deborah Geismar. I liked her. She seems very smart, knows her diagnosis. But the 30 min i waited. Im 150% sure Dr. Brull conversed with Dr. Geismar about what happened from the waiting room to the exam room. Dr. Geismar answered all my questions, asked me if i needed anything else. Comforting. But i felt she was putting on a "nice mask". The forced smile was unbearable. It was very uncomfortable, myself and i felt extremely bad those nurses and front desk staff were spoken like that, all for a paycheck. Not worth it. No one should speak to anyone like that. I understand its hard to deal with patients from 8am to 6pm, but thats your job. To be there for the health of your patients. Dont bite the staff who take care of you and your patients.
