They had a large main dining room with coffee bar to sit at as well as some back spaces to host events. They recently got new owners who are going to revamp the menu and offer more events to the community. Their menu was smaller but intriguing. They had great signature drink flavors that could be applied to different coffee style drinks. I got the Lavender Shortbread flavor as an iced latte and loved it! My husband got the Chai Latte which he wasn't quite fond of but they asked if he wanted cinnamon on top which was nice. Overall, coffee is their specialty and there's a reason why. I'm sure they have other tea drinks that may have been more favorable as well. I wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy a cup inside rather than to-go.

They have a few of these. I got the Bananas Foster Latte. This is made with banana syrup. Also they have non dairy milks. The food menu includes salads and sandwiches. It's about $7 for a bowl of chili. This is vegan. Has quite a bit spiciness to it. This is a great one to warm up with. Also they have carrot soup which is great. They also have lots of pastries. There's plenty of seating inside to sit and enjoy your items or take to-go. Their menu was a little more limited than other locations but it makes sense based on the available space they have. When visiting, I ordered a 12oz Lumberjack Latte and my husband a 16oz Chai Latte. I ended up getting a 16oz and later realized I was charged for that size as well. My latte tasted more like milk than any flavor nor coffee. My husband did enjoy his Chai. Service was sadly the downfall of my visit. There were four girls working but prioritized goofing off and chit chatting over taking orders and making drinks. I'm all for having fun at work but was very surprised in such an open setting to see staff distracting each other.

They only seat you when your party is complete, so we waited about 5 minutes until our third person arrived. They have a row of chairs - so that was nice. The hostess staff was quite pleasant as was all the waitstaff. Kat was our server and she did a great job. My wife and I split the Gypsy Skillet. It was real tasty and it was huge. We could barely finish it. Our friend's breakfast was also huge. She took half of it home including half her pancakes. We all agreed that Egg Headz Cafe is our new go to when we get together in the area. Thanks Kat and all at Egg Headz for great meals and great service. We will be back.

The cafe is usually pretty quiet, seems like most people are there just to wait for coffee so it's never really busy inside. It'd be a good place to study or work if that's your prerogative. I've had a turkey bacon and egg white sandwich and a spinach feta wrap here. The sandwich was warm, but the bacon was put on pretty sloppily so no points for presentation. The wrap was a little cold in some areas, soggy, but tasted okay. The service is friendly, we were really pleased with the service here!

I love coffee too, especially Vietnamese coffee because it's strong and highly caffeinated, and the guy warned me that he's had a few people get the shakes after drinking it. So, I said bring it on and ordered a large. Creme brulee coffee: This is an iced drink. The small comes with 2 shots of Vietnamese coffee whereas the large comes with 3. He said the 2 Vietnamese coffee shots are equivalent to 18 regular espresso shots. Well, I can definitely say it's strong in flavor, but it's yummy! Since I tend to drink slowly, I should have asked for little or no ice, but that's okay. It's just something to keep in mind for next time. And given how strong it is, I think the large is enough for me to drink over 3-4 sessions. So, when I get home, I'm going to pull out the ice, and keep it in the fridge. Overall, I'm happy with my drink, and I will be back to try the milk tea with cheese foam. I love a good cheese foam and it's hard to find at the tea places around Tinley/Orland. Most have a foam topping, but not a cheese foam.

I REALLY enjoyed the bottles that were for the to-go orders and that's what really caught my eye. I've never seen a coffee served this way. So fun! The downside of this place is the wait time. The wait time was horrible and I totally understand that places get busy but the wait time was similar to the wait time at an actual sit down restaurant and I definitely saw plenty of people behind the counters so I'm not sure what caused it but that's the biggest downfall here. I'm glad that the space is large enough to host people but where you line up, it does merge into the seating area so just in general, if you're okay with waiting like that, then it's totally fine but it definitely slowed things down. I'd like to try this place again, so I can try something new!
