GREATTT food! Cute restaurant right along the train tracks. Nice view of the trains passing by. We ordered the country fried steak & eggs w/pancake, Turkey avocado club.... Both were GREAT! We also had the cream of potato soup which I forgot to take a picture of the soup but it was amazing! Service was quick and great! We will definitely be coming back.

Florentine eggs Benedict and blueberry lemon pancake. This is half order split with hubby

Always great food! We tried the blueberry lemon pancakes today and they are awesome! Service is always great! Ambiance is great!

A perfect place to get well made, tasty food served quickly. The staff is friendly and efficient. The interior is bright and well spaced. Plexiglass separates each booth and tables have sufficient room between each. I had the big breakfast was perfect. Eggs over medium and home style hash brown potatoes with homemade biscuits with real sausage gravy. Not the pasty, flavorless stuff but well seasoned with good pieces of sausage. My wife's 2 potato pancakes were the size of half the plate. Served with sour cream and apple sauce, they were crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Just perfect! 2 eggs and 2 thick slices of bacon rounded out her order. We loved this so much, we came back again before heading back home today. My potato pancake order was as good as yesterday, a great sign of good cooking. My wife ordered 2 carrot cake pancakes. Made with walnuts and topped with a drizzled icing they were enough for 2. Link sausage and eggs were cooked just as ordered. Should have signed up for the frequent user group. We would have received $5 off our order today. Definitely will come back again

There are two locations of this restaurant in Mokena. The restaurant seemed to be a favorite among locals, so I was excited to try this place out! I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict, which came with two poached eggs, Canadian bacon, English muffin, and with hollandaise sauce. My husband had the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs with a side of Biscuits & Sausage Gravy (the half order, as we had an order of 2 entrees). My dish was solid, and a very simple dish. My husband thought his dish was okay, but was not a fan of the sausage gravy as he wasn't a fan of the flavors. The service was nice and the place was very cheery. I really like the chicken paintings on the wall. I'm glad I was able to check this place out! +Traditional Eggs Benedict +chicken art

For example, we could not get just a plain croissant. But even given that, this was a very nice coffee stop for those that really like good coffee. The dining room was nice and large, with many different sections to settle into with your coffee. Loads of outlets to plug in your lap top if you come with one for a little work. Staff was very friendly, and it is pretty much an order at the counter and get your coffee. They don't need a large staff to run this place, as it pretty much runs itself other than the coffee-master. Give this place a try.

If you are into a cozy, I am home-like, close neighborhood esthetic coffee shop..THIS IS IT!! Amazing, Amazing, amazing! From the comfy couches and chairs. The warm lights and its rustic fixtures, to the selection of eats and sips, this spot has something for everyone! Every space, every corner has personality. It truly felt like I was visiting a great aunt in her stunning home living space. I was WELCOME HERE! A coffee lovers delight. A tea drinkers pleasure. And even for the lemonade drinker, there are choices to fit your pallet. There was so much to choose from. I selected a drink from their special January menu. It was called "Snowday". This sip had espresso, white chocolate, coconut, and cheesecake cold foam! It was perfect for a chilly day as today. I tried to sip as slow as I could to savor it all, but my mug was empty sooner than I anticipated. I followed up with a regular drip coffee (those have free refills). I was with company, and they ordered a decaffeinated coffee with oatmeal, and a cappuccino. The reports were that "the sips were good". There was another order of a Italian Berry Refresher. This drink scored high on the yum card as well. We sat for hours in a wonderful space, where I met wonderful people. Those in whom I spoke with report that are happy this establishment is in the neighborhood! No love lost to Starbucks and Dunkin, they have their place in the world. But, if I can be biased with my review and encourage all to stop in to this lovely spot-scurry and hurry. Lol Fun fact: Friday nights, there is a 21 and up situation that gathers in the back of this space. Live music, adult sips are available, and good times are reported. Wow! I made a mental note to check this scene out after hours on Fridays. Live music? Sign. Me. Up! Big thanks to Marion and Saaniya (I Hope I got the spelling right). These 2 dolls were working behind the bar/register making the magic happen. So kind. Friendly, and attentive! Marion answered all my questions and was very insightful and helpful! This place has depth. This place has a voice. This place has a story, this place softly speaks "come inside, there is so much to share and enjoy.." If you stop in, notice the paintings on the wall. An artist that lives upstairs painted them, and they are for sale. How cool huh? This place is a gem inside a gem, inside a gem. And to think, I literally woke up, googled "coffee places near me" and this place landed in my lap! You don't have to believe me, go get you some!

There were only seats close by the door so we got one of those and we were cold our whole meal. I should've gotten a warm drink. I spent the whole meal just wishing the food came out fast so we can go. We got a build your own breakfast, skillet and pancakes. The build your own breakfast was decent but not filling. We liked the sourdough toast. The potatoes had cheese on them but like the shaved cheese you find on salad. It wasn't even melted all the way. Weird mouth feel while eating. Skillet was great at the bottom. I had asked for pepper jack cheese and I'm sure I got the wrong cheese since pepper jack has little chopped up peppers in it. The cheese didn't even look melted all the way either. Potatoes were a good size but the veggies were super wilted and kinda weighed down form grease. I had to stop eating it. Waitress barely came over so I didn't get a refill of my soda. Ketchup didn't come in a bottle. Both plates had potatoes but she only brought one little dip cup of ketchup. Not enough honestly. For the name Blissful Banana, I expected more done to the pancakes. Just two small pancakes and I asked for bananas on top. No special sauce or whipped cream just bananas sliced on top. Boring. I wouldn't come back. Nothing about this meal was blissful. I wish I could get my money back.
