Order breakfast from here occasionally I find the food to be good quality good and they are consistent. One of the pluses is the blue plate special which allows you to pick from several items in different categories to make up your breakfast. It starts out with two eggs cooked your way and then you get to choose a breakfast meat or a half waffle or pancake or other items there's a small up charge if you want biscuits and gravy added, but it's nice to be able to create your own breakfast in a way my other favorite item is the turkey club. It's very generous. I usually get it and have it for lunch and dinner and it comes with fries or potato chips. read more

We sat down for breakfast at 9 A.M. and ordered our food. The food was good and we were enjoying it right up until a small cockroach lazily came out from behind a wall decoration and made a leisurely crawl down the wall towards our table. A little roach tells me Momma and his family were around. I mentioned it to our waitress and she got the boss lady. She approached us as we were leaving. She seemed quite relaxed about the incident like it's a regular occurrence. We are done. Good luck to those who want to eat there. read more

Nothing stood out. Everything average. Our service was good. The service fee, convenience fee....all this should be taken into account when pricing your food. The extra $5.00 for using a debit card/convenience fees are ridiculous. Our pancakes, omelet and sausage links were close to average. read more

Ridiculous prices for eggs and hash browns. The food is average at best. Definitely not worth those prices.

Prices are outrageous 16.00 for a Hamburger, 4.00 for Coffee w/refills and a service charge if you use debit or credit. (Prices are rounded off) read more

We arrived around closing time. We had about an half hour to eat. If they didn't want us there they shouldn't have let us in. We got there at 2:25, they close at three pm. After serving our food, which I really wasn't comfortable eating, by their demeanor. They stood there and watched us eat for about ten minutes, until I asked them were they gonna just stand staring in my face, while I eat? Then they left, but kept walking by to see how much we have eaten, trying to estimate how long it would take us. The place wasn't that clean. It looked like they should have been cleaning, instead of watching us eat! Thumbs down! read more

Average. The stuffed apple French toast was odd. They cut slices of cream cheese and stick it inside the bread. The apples were orange like peaches. When I asked the server about the color, I was told everyone asks this and this was normal. Portion size was average as well. read more

This place was horrible - the hash-browns were ice cold - the omelette was cold and the side of banana bread French toast that they up charge for was ice cold and stale. To many other breakfast spots in the area - save your money and go to any place else - this place clearly didn't care what they are serving. read more

Breakfast with 8 today. Very accommodating for a larger group with no reservation. Waited to be seated until everyone arrived. Waitress was very nice and offered separate checks. Food came out in stages, which was ok. Everyone seemed to be happy with their entrees and nothing was sent back. My eggs were cooked as requested but bacon was very salty. Note there is a surcharge for using a credit card. read more

I loved the food here and the experience! Our waitress was amazing. We were in town visiting family and came here for brunch, and we are glad we did. The restaurant is very clean, and well put together. read more

This was a perfectly reasonable breakfast place real close to LaGrange and I-80. We have been here a number of times and it has always been good. On this visit we had the Blue Plate Special (4 stars nice - 4 eggs, 2 small waffles, and 2 sausage patties). Our other diner had the half order of biscuits and sausage gravy (another nice 4 star entry ... with the gravy having just a touch of peppery taste lingering on the tongue). All in all, very nice food - so why not 4 stars. It seems that this place has gone the same road as many others and adding a surcharge for using a credit card. Now it is not a lot of money but it is a cheap idea for a classy place. I always vote for the establishment to raise prices across the board to take care of any expenses of running the business - and pay your people a living wage. Don't rely on a cheap dollar here or there to make a huge difference. Once again, it is just a charge that makes the restaurant look cheap. read more

If I could give it less, I would. We frequent blueberry Hill In Homer Glen and Tinley Park quite often. Never had any issues or complaints for the most part, other than the fact that they don't have spoons now. I was eating my eggs The other day and noticedIt was crunchy, So I looked closely I noticed there were shells in with the eggs. Well I understand probably Just a mistake. I showed it to the waitress and my girlfriend brought it up to the gentleman at the register When she was paying and He gave her five dollars off the bill, which to me is kind of insulting I couldn't even finish my eggs I mean, I'm not going to eat them with the shells. So if you have a problem with the food at Tinley Park blueberry Hill I would just say buyer beware I would've thought of the very least they would take the meal and nothing else off the bill. We chose to pay the bill And not make a big deal out of it. To me It's just very bad business and I won't be returning to blueberry Hill in Tinley Park and I won't recommend it again to anyone else. Shame on them read more

Absolutely delicious. I enjoy going to the Tinley Park location because they take pride in their food. I have not yet had a bad experience with this store. Customer service is good, employee are super friendly , food is reasonably priced, and special orders are never a problem. As always check Groupon for extra savings. Sometimes they have 15 dollar off savings! read more

Good food and excellent service! Definitely Recommend for breakfast. Great pancakes!!!

Really good breakfast place! Not only was our food good, but the staff here run a really efficient operation. It was really busy when we arrived with three groups ahead of us, but we were seated in 5 minutes at a fresh, clean table. Jan was our server and she was super upbeat and a total pro, got coffee to us right away, and was quick and efficient without being brusque. We left her a good tip because she did such a great job and was working hard. Will be back! read more

Very nice restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the veggie omelet with gluten free pancakes. The omelet was delicious, the potatoes were not very good, they clearly had no butter or salt. The pancakes were good. My kids ordered the philly skillet and strawberry crepes. They were happy with their orders as well. read more

Three stars for the service only - our wait staff was excellent. I rate food based on flavor not how big the portions are. The food gets two stars. This place serves gigantic Fred Flintstone size portions but the food is bland and pricey. There was nothing about this place that would merit a return visit. We had the pancakes, omelette, waffles and breakfast scrambler and there was nothing to write home about. We all had leftovers and no one wanted to take a to go box home. read more

Here for Brunch it's my birthday week.. cashing in on all my date requests lol... I was in the mood for blueberry pancakes so I met a date and went to Blueberry Hill on Lagrange in Tinley Park. My waitress was really nice and my food was really good. I had blueberry pancakes with the blueberries inside eggs scrambled with cheese and bacon, very good. It hit the spot. I was very happy. I do go to Blueberry Hill and I will come back! ENJOY read more

A reliable and inexpensive place for breakfast. Plenty of parking. Good service fairly nice inside. Just good but plain breakfast. Nothing wrong about it. Is that with all the restaurants around that can do the same with more flavor, there is not a lot to compel you to keep coming back. Price is a strong point. Very reasonable. read more

I stopped by Blueberry Hill on a Saturday morning around 8:30. The restaurant wasn't especially busy and I was seated immediately. It probably took at least five minutes for the waitress to come. She was friendly, but clearly a bit anxious as she seemed extra busy. I ordered the Blue Plate special. Specifically, I wanted two eggs scrambled with onions and cheddar cheese, the ham off the bone and fruit (which I requested as all strawberries). It took my order much longer than I anticipated, which ultimately made me late for my 10:00 appointment. Anyway, the food was underwhelming at best. For some reason, the chef slapped a big slice of cheese (looked American not like cheddar to me) on top of the eggs, instead of mixing the cheese in the eggs like EVERY other restaurant knows to do; the ham was over cooked; and probably a 1/4 of the strawberries were not ripe. I tried to eat the food since I was hungry and had a long day ahead, but ultimately I didn't eat even half of it. My waitress had dropped the bill off shortly after the food and assured me that she would return to check on me, but ultimately I had to catch another waitress to request a to-go box. When the waitress returns, right after I received the box, she notices that I hadn't eaten most of the ham and asks if I didn't like it. I replied not really and she said in the future to ask them not to overcook it! So apparently she knows this happens, but didn't offer to remove it from my bill. Fine. I go to the front to pay the bill and the woman asks if I want a bag for my to-go. I decline. After passing my card, the box falls, with probably 1/4 of the leftovers falling out - so she says, "do you want a bag now?!" Pretty much with an "I told you so" tone. Not a "sorry you dropped your box, we can quickly order more eggs for you" or even just a "sorry you dropped your box" would have been sufficient. I still declined. Added the tip for the bill, signed, walked out and threw the to-go in the trash right outside the door. Realistically, I couldn't force myself to eat that food later - it was hard eating it while fresh, let alone warming it up later. I have to go with this being a one star experience in terms of service and quality of food. I won't return. read more

Great food, helpful staff, and large portions for a low price! Thank you for quality service!

Food was alright, not great, and overpriced for the portion sizes. I would not recommend the skirt steak sandwich for the price. The service was pretty bad too, our waitress was not friendly at all. She kept our drinks filled but was otherwise unpleasant. I won't be returning. read more

No free coffee.... I had to pay for both club soda and coffee. I'd rather just go tithe nearby Denny's! My husband asked for extra crispy hash browns and they literally gave him soggy home fries. I wanted mozzarella and I got pre sliced that didn't melt and I had to pick it off my dish. Our server was racist to her busser which made me super uncomfortable. Kept saying, "el banjo" to this seventeen year old child whom spoke English. Sylvia? She was terrible and made me not comfortable at all. I'll come back as long as that server is not there. read more

Waited an hour and 15 min this morning to pick up a very expensive order I placed online through Grubhub. The order was marked ready for pickup at 9:04am. Talked to the manager and they explained it's not their fault, they're backed up. It is their fault. If you get backed up simply explain that. I would have understood. Don't waste my time standing here waiting for an order though. It's now taken over 2 hrs. Terrible service. At least 10 other people have come in to pick up their order since I've been here. I come here often because it is convenient. Food is ok to usually good. Will not be back. read more

The food is always great and the staff always friendly. The service is always good and the restaurant is always nice and clean.

There is a customer remark about racist and they are absolutely right in their review. I am a black woman when I walked in and the older gentleman gave me a look like I was disgusting . The enviroment was not welcoming and he never greeted me . I was doing a carry out and as I walked up to the register to order he coughed and did not cover his mouth. As I was waiting on my food and other customers arrived he greeted them with a friendly smile and leading them to the table. As I turned to sit down he looked at the cashier that rang me up and said something sarcastic I didn't catch but this is my last visit to this place . Caveat Emptor "Let the buyer beware " I'm actually scared to eat the food now. read more

Was out and about and was looking for a place for a late lunch. Got here about an hour before they closed and was seated right away. Decided on the Canadian Scrambler with English Muffin and coffee.
