Was super disappointed in this place. I walked in and ordered a grilled chicken sub. They started making it. I waited about 5-7 minutes. No big deal. When it was done I went to pay and they tell me it's cash only! NO SIGNS THAT SAY CASH ONLY by the way!! I didn't have cash on me because, well, I'm in Brockton! They have an ATM on sight but of course it charges you a fee of $1.95 then I get a fee from my bank from using an ATM that's not in network. Ugh! My sub just cost me a lot more than when I originally placed the order. Not happy!!! In all honesty the sub was actually pretty decent although it could of used a little more flavor so i left an extra star for that. IF YOUR CASH ONLY PLEASE PUT UP A SIGN! We ordered from here for the first time this past Friday. It was a busy Friday night and we waited an hour over what they told us. The food was somewhat warm and we know they were short handed. We are new to the area and have tried this restaurant plenty of times and have been fairly satisfied until tonight......we ordered a steak and cheese well done and requested the steak be grinded up really well.....every other bite was gristle fat which was so disgusting but we kept on eating from starvation and had to call to make them aware of the cruelty we just put ourselves through and thought they should know of our pain and suffering.....the lady who answered the phone said bring the sub back and we will just make you a new one. I always say Stella is the best in Brockton. I also like Georgios but it's pricey. I get delivery a lot from Stellas . I tried the Italian wedding soup on special tonight. Had the worst experience tonight. I order 2 sheet pizzas and 2 Greek salads. Got the salads home and there was no dressing with either then to top it off the salads were brown. So I called the lady was rude on the phone, didn't apologize and made me bring back the salads to prove they were brown. So I did and when I walked in she handed me a brown bag with 2 salads in it and took mine. Didn't say hi, I'm sorry, or thank you. We will never order from here again. This is my first review, because i was really disappointed. I saw the reviews were decent, so I decided to get a pizza with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Maybe pizza is just not their thing. The pizza looked soggy and wet. I tried too get a refund. The guy that answered was rude and interrupted me a lot when I was trying to explain the problem. He said because there's tomatoes, it's going to be a lil wet anyways. He said I have to come in the store for a refund(this was a delivery btw). I didn't want to do that it defeats the purpose of a delivery. They redid the pizza and it didn't look any better than the first. Delicious Sicilian style pan pizza. This place is packed during lunch time, so be prepared to wait in line. You can either call in and order pizza or walk in and get a slice of pizza they have out front already prepared. They do offer both regular and Sicilian style, but I have only had the Sicilian, and again its awesome. I have been told by family members that their subs are also good. I am a Coca Cola brand lover, and they only sell Pepsi, wooof! This was a fantastic meal. I ordered everything for delivery to my hotel and it came by in less than 30 mins. It was all hot and correct. I ordered the steak and onion sandwich and a large pepperoni onion mushroom and green pepper pizza. The pizza is merely average, but certainly serviceable--thick crust and bubbly cheese, but pedestrian sauce and a bit greasy overall. The ambiance is typical downtown Brocktown: Behind the counter you'll find a guy wearing a backwards baseball cap and a semi-permanent scowl, while the dining area is clean but not quite inviting--I'd suggest takeout. I grew up across the street. When I was a kid, a bunch of us would go to Stella's right when it opened and make the pizza boxes for the owner. In return, he would give us each 2 slices, a bag of chips and bottle of soda. There was always a bunch of us and he never needed boxes but he would always do this. The things I noticed upon entering is that the place was clean and the people behind the counter were personable. I ordered an Italian sub, which was very good and onion rings which had good portions and done the way I like them. The sheet pizza sold by the slice is delicious, highly recommend grabbing an edge piece! The steak bomb is very good. They have prepared take home meals, as well as fresh salads. Stella's also has a dessert case for those with a sweet tooth. There is a parking lot located on the side, as well as street parking. I always get it delivered which arrives in a timely manner.
