I have gone to Stella's 3 times in n the last few months. I have been very impressed by this local ice cream shop. They have plenty of flavors available and I would think it would be difficult for someone to not find a flavor that tickles their fancy! They even have prepackaged pints to take home. The store has a delicious smell of fresh waffle cones cooking. All of the flavors that I have tried have tasted fresh and you can tell that they are made with good ingredients. There's no freezer burn in sight. The prices are more than fair and the portions are generous. On a side note, they offer donuts on Saturday mornings! Be sure to pick up a loyalty card! Warning: parking can be a pain and if you come in late on a summer evening, expect them to be sold out of some flavors. But that's what happens when you get delicious small batch ice cream! Firstly, I came to do some Pokémon raids downtown, I was with friends and just got out of the parking garage. We saw Stella's ice cream and we were all hungry and had a sweet tooth, so we went in. SOOO MANY FLAVORS. (Including Vegan options). I got the birthday cake in a cone, it was pretty good. When we sat down at the elevated table with stools, it was sticky and dirty, needed to be cleaned. The girl behind the counter was a little incompetent and rude. When she asked what flavor we all wanted, and I said birthday cake, and she asked me in a cup or cone, when I said cone, I heard her mumble something under the lines of, "okay fatty". But I ignored it because I have had worse things said about me. And that's why it's not even a 4 star. read more

Delicious, creative flavors and employees who are happy to dole out lots of samples until you've landed on the one that makes you happy. We ordered a blueberry lavender, lemondrop, salted caramel, chocolate peanut butter, and some kind of mango tamarind chile(?) concoction. All were fantastic, though I thought the lemon and chocolate were outstanding. A bit cramped inside, which makes things cramped in a busy warm summer day, though the atmosphere is clean and airy which lends itself to calm. Haven't been back in quite awhile, but must say time hasn't been kind to them. Of course, it was a Monday night and business was slow and there was only one young lady attending the store. But the main impression we got was that as slow as business was, she should have time to clean tables and make the dining area a bit more inviting. We had 2 single scoops of ice cream and thought that they were rather mediocre as to taste and composition. The tastes were not clean and distinct and the composition seemed uneven. Also the number of choices were much more limited than at Reed's, our first choice when closer to our home. Also, the tubs to chose from looked pretty empty and unattractive, except for 2-3. great little place for some ice cream! super creamy and has a pretty good number of flavors. Lots of different options to choose from. During halloween they had a fun mystery flavor where they changed the ice cream weekly. I couldnt ever put my finger on it but i bet one of the times it was the red air head (cherry ish flavor?). This is for the Boise, ID State St location: Highly inefficient. While one person stands idle at the register the other person gives samples by and/or ice cream to the party that is next in line. It seems The idle person could be helping, especially if the next person in line knows what they want (rather than waiting for all the taste testers to decide). Went to the Meridian storefront by the Majestic & oh my.. loved it! Felt bad for the girls working because it really is a big black storage container with a counter & it was HOT! The ice cream was delicious. Had the Triple Berry & Horchata. The Horchata was my favorite. My boyfriend had Blueberry Sorbet which was the last of it for the day & I really wish I would have gotten that, but they sold out :(. Delicious with chunks of fresh blueberries & oh so yummy. So rich and creamy! First time here and I wanted to know why its special. I found out they hand make alll their ice cream right here. Prices seem really reasonable and the baked good are sooo yummy too! Best part for me is that they offer coconut milk ice cream options. So happy that Stella's Ice cream has decided to bless Eagle Idaho with their presence. I will say it is my favorite ice cream shop around!!! Seriously so dang good. Their ice cream is so creamy and just plain delicious. I got their salted caramel with a chocolate chip cookie and my hubby got the vanilla ice cream with a milk chocolate brownie. I like how they don't have salted caramel ribbons and it's just really mixed in throughout the ice cream and the vanilla was a really good vanilla ice cream. Their brownie and cookie were also really tasty. One thing that I felt that was also nice was that it wasn't overly freezing inside while we enjoyed our ice cream! Some places have it so cold inside because it's hot outside but it was perfect! I am definitely coming back for more! This is my go to spot for ice cream now. read more

This place has staffing/management issues. Had to wait 15 min + in a long line with like 5 families waiting because the second person refused to help because she "had to make 90 push pops for pick up tonight". Had to watch one poor girl scramble to handle the long line by herself while the second girl ignored the line/didn't help her co-worker address the in store customers. read more

I always love Stella's! Their ice cream is always good no matter what you get so it'll always get 5 stars from me even if they did get my most recent order wrong. Ordered cake batter and salted caramel which are my two favorites and I think the girl misheard me because what she gave me was cookie dough and salted caramel. Which is fine I didn't want to make a fuss, I hate wasting anything and it would have just been tossed if I did, and I like cookie dough. Got to the car and started home. By the time got to that layer it seems to have been not mixed as good as it normally is as I had a single piece of cookie dough in the entire scoop. So it was basically just chocolate chip ice cream which is sadly my least liked ice cream. But still good so you can't really go wrong here. Just make sure they can hear you! I've been so excited for Stella's to open in Eagle. We tried their ice cream at the Nampa location and fell in love! Homemade ice cream, waffle cones, brownies and cookies tantalize your senses from the moment you walk in the door. They have the usual flavors like vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate (milk). But they also branch out in creativity with flavors like Fruit Loops, Caribbean, Almond Roca, and Red Bull. Stella's is happy to give you samples if you aren't sure which flavor is best. My favorites are Chocolate Truffle--a deep chocolate with actual chocolate truffles made here in town, and Raspberry lemonade, made with fresh raspberries. Heavenly! And the waffle cones are delicious. The workers are friendly and great at answering questions and scoops are generous! It's the perfect treat after a warm summer day! I'd love to give Stella's a great review. It's cute inside, and it's got some cool flavors and treat options. And it's close to my house, so that's a great plus. However, I don't think I can give any sort of good review with how they responded to my question about allergens. I have celiac disease, so I make a habit of checking out new places and seeing if I can eat there. Homemade ice cream places are typically great. They know exactly what is in their product and what allergens it contains. Stella's does not, or at least that's my opinion from my experience. When asked if any of their ice cream was gluten free I was told that if the ice cream did not have dairy then it was probably gluten free. When I said that dairy and gluten were not the same thing, and asked if she had anything there that was gluten free and had dairy she said that most of the pretty ones should be gluten free. I did not know that being pretty constituted something being gluten free. I am not sure if Stella's has completed their training process yet (they just opened), or if they really do not know what is and is not gluten free. All I know is that if you have allergies it might be a smart idea to stay away. I really would love to change my review, but that won't happen until I know that they can handle allergens. Or at least until their servers know what an allergen is. Review is two stars because it is real cute in there and everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food! Ice cream is really good! The only thing they need to fix is their hours; I've ordered on grubhub and my order always gets cancelled because they aren't open. Also, they should fix their navigation with grubhub because it seems that the drivers never can find the place or get lost. Other than that, I can't say anything bad about the ice cream. Stella's is horribly convenient for my family. It's just right down the street. We have been a handful of times and every time it is amazing. I love that they keep their ice cream unique and everything so fresh. I will say pricing isn't horrible considering your paying for fresh items. I absolutely love how unique this place is. Everyone is always so nice there as well. I am also still waiting to try the doughnuts, I am worried I will become addicted and have to go every Saturday. I would say the only downfall here is it's almost always pretty busy so having some patience is key. It's always worth the wait though! read more
