I was over in the area today for lunch and happened to see this joint right across the street. Negranti has been on my to go list so this was perfect timing! I crossed the intersection from Pig Latin and was there in less than a minute. Pulling up, the shop had a bunch of seating outside. I adore the picnic tables with the big umbrellas. I can imagine having a nice scoop of ice cream, sitting under the big umbrellas and enjoying the vibe. Walking into the shop, it's very bright and simple. Bright white walls, simple shelves with merch and goodies for sale. A very classic and clean venue. I love the big black and white menu boards. I appreciate when a venue can be beautifully classic. I stopped in for coffee today. Ice cream will have to be another adventure here. I ordered my usual drink today. An iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. I feel like it's a good basic drink to get at every coffee joint to be a baseline of how they make their coffee. I wanted a 12oz but 16oz is how they serve their small iced beverages so I went with it. The sweet gal got my drink started and I checked out the merch. I love the all mugs available. I have too many mugs at home. There was a cute white mug with little red hearts all over it! My husband would not be happy if I brought home another mug but man it was so tempting. There were unique bottled sodas and packaged ice cream that you can take with you. The root beer is a must try next time too besides the ice cream. The bottle makes me feel like that for beer is going to be out of this world good. My coffee was ready and I headed out to one of the picnic tables outside to chill at and enjoy my drink. September weather was perfect today. sunny and not too hot. Well, I really wanted to enjoy my drink. Unfortunately, it was really watered down. The drink itself was very light and opaque. From the flavoring of the espresso and vanilla, it was hardly there. There was no richness of the half and half, no bitterness of the espresso. It was quite a disappointing drink. I tried to drink a much as I could but I couldn't drink any more of it. I drank about a fourth of it. I don't know if the gal working needs a little more training on the espresso machine and how drinks are made but it wouldn't be a bad idea since this joint promotes itself as a coffee shop. The shop itself is great! The reviews on the ice cream are all the same, delicious. But the few coffee reviews are on the same page as me, disappointing. I'm happy I got to mark this cute spot off my to go list today. I do look forward to coming back for ice cream and bottled root beer. read more

So I heard from other sources that this place has great coffee and so I wanted to try it but upon arriving, I realized this is more of an ice cream place, however they do serve coffee. I ordered a cappuccino. Maybe their ice cream is good but the cappuccino was a hot foamy cup of milk with a slight flavor of espresso, not my idea of a cappuccino.. First time there after taking photos near the Boise river. It was fall and I was thrilled to enjoy their pumpkin ice cream made from sheep's milk because I'm allergic to A1 cow casein (protein). It was delicious! My grandson thought the sheep milk felt "drying' in his mouth but he liked his pumpkin scoop flavor. I've since been back for the apple crisp ice cream but the gal didn't know if it was gluten free so I went with pumpkin again. I'll definitely be back more. read more

Sheep's milk ice cream specialty shop. Service was good. Shop was cute and clean. A bit pricey but a great option for people with cow milk allergies. For people looking for traditional ice cream, however, this would not be the place to come. The texture and flavor wasn't really what we were hoping for. It was a bit more icey- vs creamy- than it was described. Even so, there were many flavors and the attendants were really sweet. Was this posh ice cream place a trick to sap the joy out of the day of innocent connoisseurs of frozen cream?? Anyway, The ice cream was icy and bland. Visiting from Illinois. Had to come here when I saw made from sheep's milk! Very delicious, made with all natural ingredients. The supervisor gal was informative and offered recommendations and samples. I had 1/2 scoop of peanut butter chip and 1/2 crazy cookie. Hubby had 1/2 peaches and cream and 1/2 crazy cookie. Cute place and it was warm inside which is nice when eating ice cream. Not too cold. Good thing we don't live here because I'd be coming back frequently! read more

I was totally reluctant to t try sheep milk ( I am on team cow) but I was pleasantly surprised by how light and tasty it was. This was super yummy!! The thai ice cream was so bold and very much like thai iced tea. The cold brew ice cream was my favorite thing. The cold brew was super powerful and had a caffeine punch! Brown butter ice cream was the perfect pairing. The chocolate cream cheese croissant was pretty good, but very crunchy (pleasant) and the cream cheese was delicious, but not much of it. 3 stars for the atmosphere. I took my daughter in to try the soft serve. She ordered a single and when they handed her the cup I had to do a double take. It looked like a portion for a baby and the girl must not have known how to swirl soft serve. It was a tiny, squiggly pile of ice cream that nowhere near filled the tiny cup. handed it back and asked her to make a double since it was so small. We wound up with a larger pile of a squiggly mess. It tasted pretty good though. We will have to come back and try the regular ice cream. read more

Ice cream is great thick and rich however we were doing coffee today and just cutting to the chase they should stop serving coffee and the baked goods, coffee only comes in a 12oz cup and was flat tasting and just as expensive as a larger drink at the burnt coffee place the baked from somewhere else goods were dry and hard. I will definitely go back for the ice cream but omgosh skip the coffee And biscuit. read more

I've never left a review on yelp before but feel that my incredibly negative experience in this store should be a warning to others. The ice cream serving size (single scoop $5) was unbelievably small, actually hollow in the center & totally absent on one side of the serving. I questioned the server - who had not yet made eye contact or uttered a word of greeting - and she said that it was the correct size serving. The chocolate caramel ice cream was grainy, filled with little chunks of frozen water - possibly the worst I've ever eaten outside of a junior high school cafeteria. Such a sad experience. read more
