This person knew every detail of what had happened at the dealership, including my son's information, my insurance details, and my home address. The scammer was able to withdraw $548 from my bank account. Given how much confidential information they had, it strongly suggests that someone with insider access may have been involved. Unfortunately, my son was later in an accident, and the vehicle was declared a total loss. Thankfully, I purchased GAP coverage and an extended warranty. The accident occurred in early March, and it is now May. The dealership still has not completed its part of the process to apply the GAP and extended warranty funds toward the remaining loan balance. I have spoken with the warranty company, and they confirmed that they sent the necessary funds to the dealership back in March. Despite leaving multiple messages for both the finance department and management at the Nutley location, I have received no response. As a result, there is still an outstanding balance on the loan that should have been resolved months ago. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to proceed with caution. My experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning.
