Stellar Adventures - ATV tour was great - ATV Rentals/Tours Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

I went on the ATV tour with my dad on a whim adventure. I was absolutely terrible and timid when the ride began. However, my tour guide took the time to get on the back of the quad and show me what to do and how it should "feel". It was one of the most exciting things I have ever done! The views were amazing and I was allowed to take my time whenever I was nervous. I talk about this tour with all of my friends and really think it is a great way for people to experience the desert. 10/10 rating. read more

Can't say enough about our ATV adventure and chad our guide. Chad was very informative and matter of fact which I loved, having three teenage boys in tow. My youngest son has autism and rode with Chad on his ATV. Chad was caring and patient with him and my son was thrilled!!! Highly recommend. read more

I booked the atv tour for my husband's birthday and we had an absolute blast. Our guide was Gus, who was friendly, courteous, and patient. I am a beginner and Gus took the time to make sure I was comfortable and safe. Safety is emphasized on the tour, but certainly did not interfere with having fun. Those who wanted to go faster got a chance to, while my husband and I were able to have fun at our pace. The route offers both challenges for more experienced riders and a safe place for beginners. We would definitely recommend this company and guides. read more

What an amazing time spent with my brother and nephew. The atv's were fun and our guide was great!

Excellent tour on the ATVs and UTVs. Staff could not have been nicer, scenery great and the ride was a blast. We had a party of 10 and everyone from age 16-76 had a fantastic time! Thank you Stellar Adventures! read more

We wanted to try out a UTV to see how we liked the experience. We picked Stellar Adventures and scheduled a date. When the day came, we had the best time ever. Our guide Mitch gave us instruction and had us practice driving in the parking lot. Then we set off on the tour. The tour was 17 miles total and a variety of types of trails. We were with a slower group, so we had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery between our spurts of fast and furious fun. Mitch was great all the way, breaks were as fun and interesting as the rides. The UTV and safety equipment was in good shape and made the less adventurous in our group feel completely secure along the way. We enjoyed every second of this and are ready to go back again. read more

Took the family today for some ATV fun. Asked for a guide and we got Brett. He was a straight shooter who told it like it was. He was really patient with some of our younger kids who were old enough to ride but hadn't ridden before. Don't know if that was the best option for beginners as some of the trails are a little tough but we made it through with one minor spill that could've been a lot worse. Highly recommend it as it was one of the best things we've ever done on vacation. read more

Awsome! Guides are great guys! We had the BEST experience. My wife and I are semi experienced and we were grouped with less experience riders. Our guide, Mitch, let us have free reign on the trails and would wait for us at every stop. I cannot wait to book with them again. Worth every penny! Don't for get to tip you cheap asses!!! read more

One of my girlfriend's and I did the ATV tour at the Four Peaks location with Chad, we had an awesome time! It was really nice going with a guide who knows the trails and can explain the course, giving tips on how to drive. We got to ride on a variety of terrain, all with beautiful desert views. I had only been on an ATV one time prior, and my friend grew up riding ATVs. Even though we had different levels of experience we both were extremely satisfied. For those more experienced you can ride at a pretty fast speed, and for those who like to ride a little slower that is fine too. Chad was a great guide, very personable and knowledgeable. I really like that Stellar Adventures will take photos for you at complimentary where most other companies would charge. All in all it was a very fun experience and would highly recommend Stellar Adventures!! read more

Loved, Loved, Loved it. Chad was amazing! This was an incredible ride. The company is super professional, responsive and did a wonderful job taking care of us. Chad made the experience for all of us. He was fun, very informative, and really customized our ride for us based on all our driving skills. I would do this again in a heartbeat. Totally worth it. Thanks Chad. (and JJ) read more

We ended up being here on a cloudy day. They called us promptly in the afternoon informing us that we wouldn't be able to see anything in the evening and refunded our money. Excellent customer service! Hope to make it to their star gazing experience soon. read more

Super fun experience! Booked with JJ on the phone and he was fantastic at explaining what the ATV tour would be like, things to remember and the like. I ended up changing the dates and once again - no problem! The directions given made me nervous as we are meeting in a desert with spotty reception. I was worried I wouldn't find it. Rest assured the directions given were perfect! Jeremy was our guide and he was great! Super knowledgeable, patient and fun. Told us how to ride so if you are a rookie, never fear. We stopped several times on the trail when the terrain was going to change, again, so we knew what to expect. He took pictures so we didn't need our cameras. You really have to pay attention and drive so don't whip out the camera for a picture unless you are stopped. They provided water and snacks. Insider tip - you will have dust everywhere. I would advise sunscreen (although the dirt will stick to it) long pants and a shirt that you are comfortable with. By that I mean many wore tanks to combat the heat. That's fine, but there is brush out there and if you get too close, you may get cut. I wore a 3/4 sleeve. Really this was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again. read more

Most Amazing ATV I have ever been on. Jeremy, our guide, was awesomely knowledgeable and knew so much about the surrounding area. He was incredibly safe and responsible. We had a blast on the trails, and even my mom had a blast. Highly recommend Stellar Tours, and especially our tour guide Jeremy. read more

ATV tour today with Jeremy, the best guide we've ever had. We atv wherever we visit and this trip did not disappoint! Only wish they sold t-shirts :$ read more

Colton was a great, knowledgeable, and humorous guide. The tour was well paced, and he was very genial and affable. It was a small group of riders but everything went as smoothly as it could have. Would definitely bring our kids next time and hopefully a few more friends! read more

Loved this ATV adventures. We visited Scottsdale for a girl trip. We wanted to do something different, well we got it! Mitchell picked us up from our resort and was our guide for the tour. First class service, he was wonderful!! Very kind and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the desert. It was an adventure that we will never forget. I highly recommend using this company. read more

We did a utility vehicle tour with Jeremy and it was awesome. Showed us amazing views of the desert and was super knowledgeable on the wildlife and history of the area. We also had two other people in our group who were on ATVs and really slow. He noticed that we were being held back so at the end of the regular tour he brought us back out for a quick ride so we could get a little more of the off-roading experience. When we come back to Scottsdale we'll definitely try another one of Stellar's tours. And ask for Jeremey! read more

Awesome Company. We took the ATV tour with Chad. Chad was very patient with my 13 and 12 year old boys, both beginner riders. He watched them carefully and assessed their riding ability and comfort level before we got on the trail. In addition, once on the trail, he provided them guidance on the upcoming trail technical details. His teaching methodology was perfect for my boys...serious enough to point out the hazards but supportive enough to give them the courage that they could do it. We will be sure to take another tour with Stellar when we visit the area again. The trails that Stellar has access to are technical enough for more experienced riders as well. Best of all, Stellar received excellent reviews from the locals we talked to. read more

Had a STELLAR time out in Bulldog canyon with Ken! He took the time to answer the (many) questions my grandmother in law had and also was so kind to my very excited 4 year old, even at one point letting him sit up front with him! We had such an amazing time and were so happy to be highly recommended to this company! Planning a visit back soon and will definetly book another tour again! Thanks for the amazing time, beautiful sites (wild horses and all) and awesome tour guide Ken!! I highly recommend booking a tour to see so many of the off road wonders Arizona has to offer! read more

This sure was a stellar adventure!!! Brett was awesome...he was super informative and really made us feel comfortable before we went on the trail. This was my first time on an ATV so he had me ride behind him- by the time we were done, I was flying down 35 MPH on the trail. It was so amazing and exhilarating. We will definitely use Stellar again in Scottsdale! read more

Tour was great, took the time to teach about ATV operation, step by step. Also taught a lot about Desert and local plants . great guys to hang with, very likable read more

These guys are the best. Incredibly knowledgeable and awesome to be around. I did the shooting range and the ATV tour and the guides (Gus and Brett) were awesome. Great to be around and they were so talkative and taught us a lot about the land and the plants that grow on it. They brought us water and snacks as a part of the tour as well. I would definitely come back again. read more

I recently did the ATV tour near Four Peaks and had a great time. The equipment was well kept and the trails were scenic. I was surprised that the guides actually let us open up the throttle a bit which was fun. They did a good job stopping occasionally to tell our group what to expect from the next section of trail. I would recommend this tour if you're looking for a little adventure. read more

I wanted to write a whole long elaborate review on how awesome our ATV experience was but it would be way too long and I'm lazy. I HIGHLY recommend this company. The guys are great, genuine, funny, patient and knowledgable. I can't get over what a great time we had and I will be back! read more

I was traveling on a "lone wolf" vacation to the Phoenix area for Spring Training. Since I was traveling alone, I decided that I wanted to try something that some of my friends and family would never try. I wanted to do something thats out of my comfort zone. I did some research on an Arizona travelers guide website and thought an ATV trip through the desert would be fun. I had reservations on booking (since I've never ridden an ATV before). I decided to call Stellar Adventures. When I called, they explained to me that they get a lot of novices on the tours and I shouldn't worry, they will teach me how to ride safely. On the day of the tour, I showed up and was immediately greeted by one of the 2 tour guides. There were 14 riders, so the split us up into 2 groups of 7 riders. Our guide, Dustin, was very professional but also very personable. He went over safety rules very thoroughly, to ensure we'd all have a fun, but safe, time. He was a very friendly guy. The company provided all of the proper safety gear needed to ride. When I arrived, I was nervous. Would I have a good time? Would I be safe? Would I ever want to do this again? The answers are YES....YES.....AND YES. If you are thinking about doing this, DO IT. These were a great group of guys and it was a lot of fun. Most importantly, safety was paramount to them. I highly recommend booking your adventure with Stellar Adventures! read more

Brian and Dustin were great! A lot of fun. Highly recommend Stellar to any families that want a desert experience while in Scottsdale.

I was in Arizona this past weekend for a bachelorette party. We added Stellar Adventures to our itenary and I could not recommend it more!!! There was a group of 14 girls and we could not stop raving about our experience the rest of the trip. The tour guides (Chad and Jeremy) were AMAZING! I was extremely nervous before we got started, but Chad placed me in the front so he could keep an eye on me and give me pointers until I got more comfortable. By the end of the exercursion I was all smiles!! The trails started off very basic and gradually increased to more turns and speed, but everyone was still able to go at whatever speed they were comfortable with. Chad and Jeremy were both extremely patient and caring and made sure everyone was comfortable going at their own speed. On top of that they were HILARIOUS!! And if the experience wasn't enough already, they bring waters along the way and make sure to take a lot of pictures that they upload to their website, so you can keep the memories forever! I currently live on the east coast and I am already planning a return trip so I can go again! I cannot recommend Stellar Adventures enough!!! read more

My daughter and I chose the 4 hour ATV ride. Our guide, Chad made the trip fun for people of all ability levels. This is a first class operation. Great tour, lots of fun, I highly recommend it! read more

This place was the best. We went ATVing for a bachelorette party in February. The equipment was great. The guide was wonderful, knowledgeable, and patient. The area is gorgeous. If ATVs sound appealing at all, you will have fun. Do it. read more

Took a atv/side by side trip into desert with Chad! He was very prompt and well versed in everything from plants, local animals and saftey . Trip exceded or expectations I would highly recommend! read more

This is one of the best adventures we have ever had not only because of the outing itself but the staff made it so much fun. Our tour guide Chad was one of the nicest guy ever. He cared about our safety and explained every turn and route that was ahead of us. I lost my drivers license at one of the stops during the tour and didn't realize it till we got back to the hotel. I made a call to them and told JJ who answered the call and he said he would pass the message along. Now remember this is a tour through the desert and there are many trails. Well they didn't give up. Two days later got the call and they found it. I was blown away that they even cared to look around and call me. They dropped it in the mail for me and it was waiting for me when I got home. I call this service something that is missing in many companies. Thank you so much for our first ATV experience and we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this company to everyone! read more
