While I did mention that to booker, on the day of, Amie didn't know, but was a true pro on the day of, jumped on in, gave me the color I was looking for (which is a HARD color to do and I am PICKY AF -- "not too white, not too yellow, not too ash - somewhere in between - and Amie nailed it), and hung in there until she got it right. She also fixed a bad hair cut I had received prior, blending my bad cut AND prepping my hair for when I CAN come back to get extensions. She did not make short cuts, listened very well about what I wanted, got on the same page super quick, did not cut corners -- she did not let me leave until she was happy with the end result and so was I. It's an amazing space, and Kim and Amie are lovely and very sweet. Getting intensive color or extensions done is a long process (lol I wore my pajamas to be comfy because I know it takes time), and everybody is friendly, make you comfortable, and there is an adorable little four legged guy who says hi while you process. I was so happy with my fixed hair cut, color I love, and everybody is asking where i got it done (and I tell em!). Obvs coming back for everything forever.

I got my first set of extensions and I loved them. I came in with a blah blah hairstyle that was just some hair on my head but there was nothing about it making me happy or motivated me personally. I followed Tilly's advise in the care and maintenance of this hair and found my groove and confidence. Tilly is not just a masterful stylist she is a beautiful person inside and outside. She brings an upbeat vibe while working away. The salon is lovely and has ambiance but the true focus when you go to a salon is service and outcomes. Anyone who has their hair done by a professional knows it's an investment and people want value for that and this salon delivers. Tilly is so flexible she will even let you bring in your own hair. You heard right she is so skilled and confident it doesn't matter what method you are looking for she can do it. I have sewn in wefts and let me tell ya her braiding game is the best in town with confidence I feel her history and experience makes her a top stylist if you need any service that requires braiding. The cost of this work which takes a lot of time and effort is quite reasonable here compared to others and the fact is there are limitations to what can be offered at other locations. Tilly wants you to feel good, she demonstrates excellence in her craft. The quality of the work is second to none. She is beyond creative and knows what will look good with the shape of your face, tone of skin, even eye color. She makes people who have never felt beautiful walk out feeling great. (I have the Unbrush, it's incredible, I can de-tangle in less than 15 minutes). Seriously, people turned and looked. In my experience, curly hair experts cut it while dry and never stretch while trimming. She did not do it that way and the degree of lopsidedness that was obvious within 2 weeks was so disappointing. I emailed to see if they would fix it and they didn't respond. The color was good though. I'm finally working up the nerve to find someone to cut my hair again.

I was totally traumatized by my experiences in California, and I let my hair grow and grow without attention, trims or anything fun. After recommendation from a family member - go check out this salon, I decided to make the appointment. I held my breathe for my appointment as I full well expected to be 150% disappointed. I always have been. The salon is off the beaten path - but it is clean, cute, and personable. I started feeling some vertigo symptoms ( something I've only experienced once in my life ) I shrugged it off as to not flake on my appointment. Off the bat - Kelly was SO kind, personable, and warm. She took great time and detail to go over the photo idea I had - what I did and didn't like about it, and asked super honest questions. Usually stylists look at the photo somewhat annoyed - say "yeah" a couple hundred times, and it ends up being something quite different. I truly enjoyed talking with her as she did my hair - and I began to feel sicker. She was super easy to talk to - SUPER knowledgeable in the art, and really kind. She was super attentive in grabbing me water, offering me food, and steadying the chair when trimming my hair. Long story short - I ended up in the ER for severe peripheral vertigo - BUT my hair turned out AMAZING AND JUST AS I ENVISIONED! This review is for Lindsey Meese. I've worn hair extensions since 2002. I'm an expert in how they…read moreshould be done. This is the first time that I booked an install with Lindsey. She did not install my extensions correctly on Wednesday of this week. They are placed 2 1/2 inches apart and she installed the top weft too close to my crown so I need to wear a hat to cover them. She also sewed the ends of the wefts incorrectly so they flip in a weird way and don't lay flat. I was scheduled to go in to the salon again today to get a redo and a style cut to blend the extensions. This is the first in all these years that my hair wasn't styled to blend in. On my way to the appointment today Lindsey texted me to cancel saying she didn't feel good enough to stay at the salon for my appointment. This, to me is totally unacceptable and her comment was "When I have time, I'll look at my calendar to see when I can reschedule you." This is the epitome in terrible customer service. Anthony, the owner of the salon is a pro and this is not representative at all on how he conducts business. It's disappointing that Lindsey doesn't represent the true professionalism and care that Anthony exhibits as this reflects on the reputation of the salon, which isn't a true representation. My husband and I both love Anthony's work. I have cancelled my future appointments with Lindsey. If you read other reviews about Lindsey this seems to be a common practice for her .... cancelling at the last minute. As a side note, I feel it is very disrespected to be addressed as "Hey you" or "Babe." Lindsey has much to learn.
