Zoodles
Casey S.

I love Stella's grocery! This location is still filled with all the prepared lunch and dinner options that you enjoy. There are also a wide selection of side dishes, dips, drinks, and desserts available. I love grabbing the Zoodles with artichokes and a sweet treat of their lemon bar or magic bar. They also have made to order options that include entrees and appetizers. There is plenty of seating both in and outside of the market. So you can enjoy your food with a friend there or take your food to go. No matter what you get, I've never met anyone who hasn't enjoyed the delicious Greek food of Stella's.

Peruvian Chicken Wrap. The best.

The Malvern Gardens and Westhampton locations are my go-to spots, but the new River Road location is maybe my favorite. Tables and seating right by the sun-lit window. Do yourself a favor and check out the Peruvian chicken wrap. SO. GOOD.

Needed a quick breakfast before heading to our granddaughter's basketball game at St. Bridget's. Very surprised but the prepared foods they had. Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices. Coffee was excellent! So was the atmosphere. We will be back.

I stopped into Stella's around 4:30PM on a Saturday. I was one of 3-4 occupied tables- a couple of groups, and another individual. I perused the cold case and ended up purchasing a cake slice and a bottled drink, the total of which rang up at about $10 before tip. Their store was very clean, had lots of choices of food and beverages (alcoholic or not), and was generally quiet, even with other people there! I had a nice time reading and enjoyed the cake, which was fresh and flavorful. I would definitely stop in to Stella's again, and order off the menu which looked fantastic.

Fabulous little gem on Grove. Family friendly but also has a fully stocked bar!! The food was delicious- eat there or take home. Not only restaurant (Stella's) standard food, but kitchen supplies, wines and cute gifts. The coffee was really good!! You must check it out!!

Blanchard's Coffee - Summer special: Ube Coconut Latte

I came here with a friend on a hot afternoon looking for a cool drink. I spotted a latte special…read morewith Ube and coconut and wanted to try it. I was a bit disappointed that they only offer whole or oat milk, as I was used to having more milk options (like low fat or nonfat). I can't drink whole milk and I'm not a big fan of oat milk. The barista recommended that I try the oat milk and said if I didn't like the drink, they would make me something else. I asked for light oak milk and hoped for the best. My latte was served in layers, so I got a big blast of oat milk in my first sip, but after I mixed my latte, it tasted so much better. The coconut flavor really came through and offset the oat milk flavor. I was really happy with my drink and with the super helpful barista. I'll for sure be coming back!

As anyone can see by my other reviews, I give a lot of 4 and 5-star ones, and am generally not a complainer. When I rate something low, there's really a reason. There was nothing for me to like about this place. First, there was no signage to speak of. It wasn't real easy to find. I didn't even know I had found the right place until I saw the name of the place on the bags of coffee. When I came in, it was a cold feeling, not a friendly one. Every person I dealt with behind the counter wasn't warm or inviting. I got the feeling that they felt I "should have known" where to order, and "should have known" where to wait, or to pick up my coffee. I got a takeout hot coffee but had to interrupt and kindly ask for a lid. And when I did I got a vibe like I was an irritation or something. I went out to the car with my coffee and told my husband I hoped it was really outstanding coffee with what I had to go through to get it. And you know what, it wasn't all that great. It's not worth going back for. I don't get why people like or recommend this place.

While the space doesn't lend to sitting inside, there is ample Euro cafe style seating in the breezeway out front if you want to immediately plunk down to enjoy that kolache (trust me, you won't regret your decision.) Never had a midwest kolach before so when I walked in I told the guy it was our first time. He proceeded to give me so many delicious options and explained to me the type of food it was. I ordered a ham and muenster kolach with mustard day special and then got one of their specialty lattes, it had rosemary or something in it? Such a cozy inside with friendly, chill people working, and life changing food. I felt like Remy eating the strawberry and cheese in Ratatouille. I will be back the next time I'm in town! Edit: Vegan options available!!!

I particularly like the Orange Pineapple and Orange Mango, but you can't go wrong with any of them. At just around $7 the price point is in line with what you would expect for a coffee replacement. The pastries are where Ben Wong shines. Showcased in the middle of the cafe, the ability to self select pastries often leaves me going home with more than I expect. The Pineapple Bun is fluffy with a mild sweetness, the Chicken Curry Bun is savory with a satisfying crunchy exterior, and the Taro Buns have a rich taro flavor. At $3-$5 per pastry you can't go wrong with any of them.

I really love their drinks especially though; the tiramisu latte is sweet but delightful. Their bubble teas, especially the creme brulee, are good too, and I love their blueberry fruit tea! Of their pastries, I've enjoyed their berry-focused ones the best, such as the strawberry cake. It's close by and my boyfriend loves it here, so I'm sure to be back soon. Prices aren't bad either.

Still rating 5 stars because I've had so many memories here! --------------------------------- Drinks: I usually get a cold brew or latte. The cold brew hits, especially after a nice long run around Carytown/grove. Their lattes are alright, but not as good as some other places. The matcha is unfortunately not the best either, I think they use some type of sweetened powder as even the unsweetened is still sweet and the matcha flavor tastes burnt and not the best quality Also wish they had more seasonal drink options (other than the seasonal syrups) Recommendations: cold brew with splash of oat; pastries (macarons) Affordability: well priced (especially in this economy) Ambiance: cozy coffee shop vibes to hang out, not the best for studying/work Service: Great! they also have stamp cards Good for: post run coffee, coffee when you are not in a rush
