If I could give 0 stars I would. I walked in with my mother and sister with goals of obtaining manicures but we were not greeted at all. We stood at the front desk (which wasn't staffed) for a few minutes before a guy came out on the phone and although he eventually made his way to the front desk, he still didn't greet us nor acknowledge our presence. We simply stared at him while he talked on the phone, glancing at us. Very poor customer service. There are too many nail salons in the area to purposely ignore future customers. I had a pedicure by Angela and she did a fantastic job. Very meticulous at getting my ingrown toes fixed and I feel so much better. I was even treated with a mimosa and it was really good. I can't say enough awesome things about this place. Very clean and comfortable. read more

I have tried this place twice now and each time it isn't busy but they always seem like they are rushing, and I don't typically mind the rushing but this time she was so rough trying to be so quick that she cut my cuticles three times with the drill bit, so much so that I told her not to even worry about my cutting cuticles with the clippers after she cut me the third time! Take a breath and either slow down or ask me to come back later. I got there at 6 and they don't close till 8pm. Also she didn't tell me about the 20% off. I won't be back again. read more

The salon is beautiful and has a ton of seating and colors to choose from! Lorena is a wonderful receptionist and helps with all your needs. They offer wine and a wide selection of keurig options. I was so excited to try this place, and the new space looks so nice. I went here last week for dip nails and a pedicure, spending nearly $100 with tip. Two of my nails had chipped and broken three days after getting them done. Sorry but dip nails are supposed to last at least two or three weeks. So frustrating. I got my nails done for an event this weekend and they looked terrible, but it's not in my budget to get my nails done twice in one week. I definitely won't be back again. read more

Stella Nails is a beautiful new nail salon. The decor and lighting are lovely and the furniture is comfy. I opted for a gel deluxe pedicure and a dip powder manicure. My pedicure with Alan was wonderful and very relaxing. He did a great job and was very thorough. He then did my nails and again, did a lovely job. My only issue I had was when I was getting my manicure, nail clippings from a previous client were left on the towel where I was getting mine done and were not cleared away/towel was not exchanged. Beyond that one issue, everything else was great! I highly recommend Alan as your nail technician. He was the sweetest! read more

The woman that did my nails was so rude . I tried to explain her that my job entails a lot of wear and tear on my nails so if she could please clean under the tip very well- she did not. Still gross crud left underneath. I also asked her if she could dip my nails in the SNS powder a few more times to make them very sturdy- she almost felt annoyed when I asked her to do this and annoyed when I asked her to file them down a little bit more. This salon charges $10 more than the place down the street- no hand massage, no water offer, nothing. I tried this place out for the first time but I will be returning to my old salon where I would pay less, get better service, have good conversation with my nail woman, and be offered wine while I got my nails done. read more

I came to this shop on yesterday and was satvin a pedicure chair for all of 47 min completely unattended to. I watched as the other customers received drinks and wine while i was just sat there. I finally decided to get up and thats when Kathy the most unprofessional of them all finally says to me oh im coming to you next. Well that was a lie. She proceeded to her client she had sat her down for a pedicure and got started. I got up and decided to come back. Next day i book a 5pm appointment. Got there 15 min early. Waited 20 min and was sat. The tech was rude as heck he was upset already and my question sent him into some type of fit. He turned of my light n walked away. Next thing i know the owner Kathy takes a sneaky picture of me as tho im blind and couldn't see her. And says you wait for me. Smh. And wait i did. 1 hour later she began on my nails apparently upset and intentionally using her drill on high speed. I asked her to please turn it down she said I got to do it my way and i dont do buff n file. Wait a minute. So your burning my nails and you refuse to stop. No thank you. I stop her in her tracks. I say i don't want the service. She said give ME YOUR NAILS. I said no im not doing this. She took my hand and began to clip off my nails. Then she said you can'tkeep the tips. You soak off. Fine i sat n soaked them completely disgusted with this place and ready to go. This place is the worst. The service sucks. They treat people bad. If i could give them a negative star i would. The place is not clean and very short staffed, in the hour that I was sitting there, I saw them sit 2 customers at 2 dirty pedicure bowls. I also saw the guy who was giving a manicure use his tools on my friend, placed them back in a plastic box, and used them again on another customer! No sterilized tools on any customer. $37 for a pedicure that I did not enjoy is not okay. The nail tech rushed through my whole pedicure, I had an appointment at 230, sat down in the chair at 235 and was done by 250. 15 minutes for a pedicure?? She skipped my right toes on cleaning, didn't even scrub my heels but for more than 10 seconds each. If I am going to pay $37 PLUS Tip I want to at least get a warm towel at the end. Nothing about this was enjoyable. Being a hard working female in the medical field who is on her feet for 40+ hrs a week I really enjoy my pedicures once a month, but nothing about this was enjoyable. We also made a reservation 2 hours ahead for a group of 3 to get our nails done, they didn't have enough techs, so our other friend had to wait for us to be done to get started on hers, then we had to wait on her to be finished getting hers done. Just not a great experience, seems to be more and more common now a days at the nail salon. read more

I love trying new places and supporting local businesses. Sunday, August 4th I decided to check out Stella Nails in West Ashley. Because of the 20% off grand opening special, I splurged on a deluxe pedicure and a fresh SNS French Manicure. My pedicure was great, very enjoyable conversation with the tech. My SNS ended up an American Manicure, no big deal. I left with a bit of sticker shock when I was charged an extra $25.00 for a quick soak of my hands and a cuticle treatment. Within 24 hours my SNS began lifting, I've been having this type of manicure for over 2 years and this has never happened. Because it's a new business, I reached out via private message on Facebook to the salon and explained what had happened. I assume it was the owner who found my receipt and left me a voicemail apologizing for my experience telling me I was overcharged by $15 and invited me back in to have the SNS repaired. I made arrangements with her to return on Thursday August 8th and was given the name of a specific tech to ask for. I left work a little early show up at the arranged time only to be told the tech had taken the day off. On top of that, the receptionist, even after listening to the voicemail message was extremely hesitant to refund the overcharge. I drove across the street to Luxia (who I highly recommend) and had my nails fixed. Out of pocket $180 not including tips. read more
