Amazing!! They don't take reservations, but there was no wait when we went. The place is so tastefully decorated that I felt like I was back in Italy. Our waiter was an adorable curly hair, Italian boy who couldn't have been more accommodating. The food was fabulous. From the beautifully presented salad to my shrimp, scampi linguine and the delicious homemade Italian bread to the chocolate coconut mousse cake for dessert. We couldn't have been happier. The portion size was enough to take an entire meal home. The freshness and the quality of the food were notable. Parking was easy. Prices were wonderfully reasonable. Friendly staff, decent service. Food was average at best. I would not recommend the clams Casino. They use very small little neck clams that are opened and both shells attached. You receive the shell with clam on one side with bechamel sauce and a hint of bacon and the other side of the shell is just bechamel sauce with zero clam....not good at all. Italian food made to order full of flavor like my nonna made when I was young Huge portions so come hungry we ordered eggplant parm and veal parm with homemade pasta (ask for a little extra sauce) very tasty. Had dinner there last night and the food was well made and tasty, but the place is very noisy. Take note that they only accept reservations for parties of six or more, so if you're planning to go there for dinner on the weekend and you don't meet that criteria be prepared to wait. I would change 2 things. Firstly , No cafeteria style butter pats and secondly , offer hand crafted cracked pepper by the server like they do in any traditional Italian restaurant. I'm still coming back ! Plus our server Ray was great. read more

The good. Calamari app is excellent as is the salad. The vegetable appeared to have been frozen. The seafood dishes were overcooked. One issue that disturbed me. My daughter asked for water and was served sparkling water which was like $4 plus. If a person asks for water in Berks County the wait staff should ask tap or bottled sparkling water. Celebrated my birthday dinner here this evening. The atmosphere was relaxing, staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. The options at the bakery were plentiful so we had to take home dessert because we were so full from the generous meal portions.
