Don't do it they lie they called me the day negate my appointment to tell me I didn't have insurance wrong I've been at my job for over 20 years and we don't do updates till October and I had a dentist appointment in September with no issues. They wrote down wrong information I gave them and wrong numbers yet I called my insurance company and just put in the correct information and BAM I have insurance. Called them back and gave them a number and OMG I now have insurance. When they get you in there they take your blood pressure knowing your blood pressure is going to be high after they just lied to you and get treated like crap from the front desk. Then just to numb your mouth they refuse to do work because they already make you upset and your blood pressure is high. The front desk from the get go I was treated cold and then when another client came in she was pleasant and very warm towards him. They belittle you when you explain your stand on how you were treated. read more

This place is definitely about making money, and not about your general dental health. Be careful of what "add-ons" they give you during your appointment (including xrays more than once a year when insurance only covers them one time per year). They try to upsell you on many different tools- mouth guards, fluoride treatments, etc. The place is beautiful, clean, nice but staff is rotating and some seemed inexperienced. I made an appointment and showed up, but they didn't have the appointment. They tried to accommodate me, but that was the only time I had available. I need to find a new dentist! read more

By far, Kate Steele of Steele Dentistry in Stapleton is the best dentist I have ever been to. If you are like me, you are a bit scared when it comes to having your teeth worked on. I have been to several dentists around Denver, including the chain Comfort Dental, and a few others. I've always put off going to the dentist until the last possible minute. It's always been a scary experience for me, and I have never left an office feeling great. I'm a pretty laid back person, so I never left an office feeling upset either. But I had no idea how great a dentist could be until I went to Steele Dentistry! When I went to Steele Dentistry, it was a whole new experience. The Doctor, Kate Steele, was extremely kind and gentle. I was feeling tooth pain and it turned out that I had a HUGE cavity that needed to be removed ASAP before a root canal was necessary. I was a bit scared, but the tooth pain I was feeling was overwhelming and I needed help. When I received the anesthesia shot, I didn't even feel it. I was more scared about that than anything. Dr. Steele said, "You'll feel some pressure now" or something like that, but honestly, I hardly felt a thing... except for relief. The scariest part was over. She was drilling away, and I kept thinking, "Is this it? Where's all the pain?" I was a bit shocked at how simple the whole procedure was. Dr. Steele not only made me feel comfortable before the treatment, but the actual process was quick and painless as well. The hardest part was just keeping my mouth open... everything else was painless. Dr. Steele and her assistants told me exactly what they were doing, when they were doing it. I felt like I knew what was going on the whole time, which really helped my anxiety. All of the staff at Steele Dentistry was so nice and attentive. I had to make my appointment super quickly because I was feeling a lot of pain, and they got me in right away. Everyone there made me feel welcome from the first minute. The office itself is really nice. I feel more like I'm at a coffee shop than a dentist's office. It does not have that stagnant 'hospital' feel that other dentist offices have. With big, bright windows and comfy chairs, I actually felt myself relaxing in lieu of feeling anxiety. Don't go to a chain like Comfort Dental, where you are treated like just another number among many... go to Steele Dentistry where you are treated like a person. Now, for the first time in my life, I feel excited about keeping my teeth in good condition. When I went back, I was greeted by name and I felt a personal connection to the staff. I plan on receiving regular check ups, and brushing and flossing as instructed. I'm motivated, thanks to Dr. Steele, and confident that I will receive the best possible care if something else should go wrong in the future. Do not hesitate to book your appointment with Steele Dentistry. You will be treated well, you will be educated, your pain will go away if you are feeling pain, and you will leave feeling confident and happy. Steele Dentistry is everything I had no idea I was looking for, but am so happy I found. Thank you so much! read more

They definitely upsell on a variety of things, and constantly make mistakes when calculating payments and insurance, bill you months later for procedures that were not supposed to have cost anything, etc. As far as quality, the doctors are competent, but some of the rotating techs are absolutely terrible - my jaw hurt for months after a cleaning. Overall a very uneven experience. read more

Shocked to see any poor reviews about Steele Dentistry. My husband and I both visit this office and have never had anything but positive results. I had some serious issues to work through and was in tears the first time I saw Dr Steele. She met my tears with kindness and compassion. She's been working with me for years and I will only see her - no question . Dr Steele is an amazing dentist! read more

I know this is the same as my google review, but I think it has all the bases covered. I normally don't much care for doing reviews, but when I see something exceptional, I spread the word. I'm so glad I found Steel Dentistry! Their staff was super friendly and supportive. Alexis, Alyssa, and Dr. Lisa were all amazing too! They were kind, gentle, and didn't have even a hint of judgement at some of the shortcomings of my dental hygiene. They have really great technology X-rays were an absolute breeze, and their chairs are super comfortable. Their logistics staff got my insurance figured out super quick, and helped me get appointments situated very efficiently. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this dental practice, keep up the awesome work! Also, I might add my out of pocket expenses were much smaller than I anticipated, and much smaller than I've paid at different dentist's offices. Thank you guys again! read more

Dr. Steele and her staff are excellent at what they do! I would recommend Steele Dentistry to anyone I know.

I love this place... and i cant believe that im writing that about a dentist.. as deathly afraid as i am. This place is wonderful. the Front Desk Staff took care of any question or concern i had relating to insurance and what was covered. Thanks for being so patient with our son today. I'm sure it is not easy to have to extract teeth from a kiddo. I'm glad you took the time to try and make him as comfortable as possible. Before he went to bed I asked him if he wanted some pain reliever and he said no his teeth actually felt better now. He gave me a big hug and said thank you. It was a difficult procedure but he feels much better already. Thanks for your help. read more

Fast and courteous. I was surprised by the level of customer service and the attention to detail. I found my dentist!

Kate is the best in the west. Everyone that works here is so top notch and friendly. Do yourself a solid and check her out.

I am so glad I stumbled across Dr. Whiteley at Steele Dentistry! The office is extremely clean and everyone I interacted with was very professional & helpful. Dr. Whiteley has a calming bedside manner, and is incredibly thorough. On my first appointment he spent 20+ minutes with me, after the hygienist cleaned my teeth, explaining everything he was doing/seeing and making sure I had no questions throughout. These days most doctors spend 2 minutes with you and make you feel rushed to squeeze in a question; NOT Dr. Whiteley! I will recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic dentist in the Denver area. The technology at Steele Dentistry is also top notch. They use tiny cameras to take pictures of your teeth and show them to you if you have a cavity so you can actually see what they see rather than just taking their word. They don't want to just sell you on more dental work. It gave me peace of mind when I was told I needed 3 fillings because I saw them myself! They have a closed-door room for oral surgery procedures, which I was in for my fillings. It only took 45 minutes for 3 fillings and was pain free. Dr. Whiteley and his assistant Des made me feel comfortable (as possible while getting dental work) and explained what they were doing during the procedure. Thank you Dr. Whiteley & Steele Dentistry! read more

Dr. Kate is great as is the staff. They were named one of the top dentistry offices in Denver for 2015 & 2016 - I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Super nice - Very clean modern location. Made going to do something unpleasant not so bad. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced and not trying to push services you don't need. read more

Expensive; always trys to up-sell; front desk complains about insurance companies all three times I have been there; dental assistant kept apologizing for being inept (and she convinced me she was after her third apology), I had to ask for the gas that my insurance company paid for (I hate having to ask for services that are due to me) and I couldn't get another appt for two days after the surgery and I complained about continued pain. I have been there three times and had x-rays every time. I had to fill out paperwork after a surgery. It was paperwork that I had filled out before about my personal info and my allergies and such. This is a corporate dentist office. I thought Dr. Randall was awesome, though. read more

Love this dentist...the office is very nice and the staff is all very professional and friendly.

My fiance and I recently moved and had to leave a dentist we really liked. We were nervous about finding a new dentist (we've both had some issues in the past with pain and don't exactly love dental visits). We put it off as long as possible, but when we went in to Steele Dentistry, they were so kind and gracious. No guilt. No pain. No upselling. No bargaining. Just information on what our insurance would cover, what was necessary and what was optional, and how we could prevent ourselves from needing additional care in the future. Loved each and every person! read more

Kate Steele & her staff are courteous & always have smiles on their faces. I came to my 1st appointment with problems, that are being worked out and on. I'm very satisfied with the work being done to my overall dental health, so I can keep my healthy smile!!! read more

Always happy with service at Steele Dentistry. Modern technology but comfortable. Good customer service. Had a good experience getting my wisdom teeth out a couple years ago - had a really easy recovery. I've had a couple cavities filled no problem, and always happy with my cleanings. I've had the same hygienist the past few times, Alyssa, which is nice. Always a delight. read more

Allison is my Dental Hygienist and has done a FABULOUS job, every time, with my cleanings. Some of my teeth are extremely sensitive, and she has a great method of scaling my teeth, without leaving me "white knuckled" in the chair. Allison has a great technique that I have never experienced before finding Steele Dentistry. I'm a fan! I met Dr. Whiteley on my recent visit and LOVED him! He has an extremely calm, gentle bedside manner and was very thorough and patient in answering all my questions. I very much look forward to future visits and his great care. read more

I've posted a review on Steele Dentistry before and not only do I think the practice is great my husband and son do as well! Review: I just moved into the Stapleton area and have been looking for a new dentist. Dr. Steele was in my insurance network so I decided to check out her office. So happy that I did!!! Her and the staff are knowledgeable, kind and had extensive understanding of my insurance plan. I loved that Dr. Steele actually took the time to find out about my concerns and didn't make me feel rushed! Truly... WooHOO! As good as it gets!! If anyone is interested, I've decided to list "my" best Doctors as I find them in the area. Rachel is a fantastic knowledgeable Dental Hygientist with great skills and no pain during cleaning. She's the best!

Went in for a cleaning and sensitivity to cold and hot. Dr Steele seems to be drill happy and 3 crowns later I still have pain. I was referred to an endodontist (which I cant afford) because "they dont do root canals on molars". Why didnt they know I needed a root canal first? I told them Comfort Dental previously said I would eventually need one. I also had a partial denture made that never did fit perfect, even after several adjustments, but gave me a mouth full of silver . The first visit they gave me nitrous oxide without asking if I even wanted it, which I didnt. I gave 3 stars only because I got a great cleaning read more

Dr. Steele is a wonderful dentist! My husband went to her about a year and a half ago because he hadn't been to the dentist in ages and was having terrible pain on one side of his mouth. He needed several fillings, a crown, and a root canal and although it was a lot of things to get done within a few weeks time, he did great because Dr. Steele was so gentle and went as easy as she could on him. His teeth are doing great today, no pain and all the issues resolved. Because he had such a great experience I went to Dr. Steele for the first time this summer. My previous dentist barely paid attention to me and had a really bad "bedside manner". Dr. Steele was attentive, gentle, and ended up finding several cavities in between my teeth that my previous dentist had overlooked. Her equipment (especially the Xray equipment) was very up-to-date and her office is very nice. Her staff treated me wonderfully and they took my insurance and Care Credit with no issues. The first time, when I went in for my checkup and cleaning, I had to bring my 6-month-old son and everyone was great with him, the staff was very understanding that I wasn't able to find a babysitter. My husband and I both intend to keep seeing her and intend to take our son to her when he is old enough for a dentist. She is a skilled dentist and has a great staff, thanks Dr. Steele! read more

Dr. Steele was recommended to me by several colleagues. When I first met her and the staff at Steele Dentistry, I was overwhelmed by how warm, welcoming and helpful they were. They have always been able to accommodate my schedule and financial situation, and explained all my options to me so that I could make the best decision. They called me after every visit to make sure I was doing okay and if I needed anything. I would highly recommend Kate, her staff and the work done at Steele Dentistry. read more

Dr. Steele's Dentistry - the service was Fair As for the understanding that we are people out here - after a service- I had a few questions. Called for over a month many times - no one ever returned a call till yesterday. At that point I requested speaking with the Doc...... And Nothing - Obvious after you have paid your bill. They have no need to be kind to a patient. That's not an office we want to deal with - what if it was an emergency? read more

Love all the ladies at Steele Dentistry! Always give the best care.

Absolutely horrible service. I have gotten night guards for over ten years for bruxism (clenching). I got not one, but THREE night guards made. This office has the inexperienced dental techs do the impressions and the adjustments on guards that are meant to PROTECT your teeth. The first guard I got was in August 2016, I went in over five times after attempting to wear this "adjusted" guard multiple times, with extreme pain so bad I'd wake up and have to take out the guard and have severe pain eating the next few days. The second guard was STILL not fitted correctly because the techs didn't think they needed to re do the bottom impression for a top guard- again multiple visits to get it adjusted, then one night when attempting to wear it it actually CHIPPED my bottom canine tooth - DEEP, to the point the nerve was exposed. They "fixed" the tooth by putting a porcelain layer over the exposed root with no numbing agents- the tooth is still in pain almost two months later. When I came to get the third guard (the last chance) it was still causing pain immediately on my upper teeth and hitting my bottom front teeth. I have NEVER in over twelve years had my bottom front teeth immediately hit the guard with zero wear on it - NO WONDER it chipped my teeth! Are you kidding me?!?! And they have the audacity to have another "senior tech" try to tell me that's the way guards are supposed to fit? You know NOTHING and are HURTING PEOPLE and HURTING CHILDREN who can't stick up for themselves when they are in pain. Worst service I have ever had at any dentist in my life. If this is one of the top rated dentists in 5280 then I guess none of the dentists in Colorado give a crap about the well being of their patients. Will be going elsewhere or paying full price to see my home state dentist on trips back home. It's not worth my teeth getting chipped and being in constant pain to go to this dentist. If I could give zero I would. read more

Very nice experience, everyone very friendly and the hygienist and dentist were very gentle.

I went in as a new patient and unfortunately, the first impression was not a good one. The receptionists were somewhat off putting... I can't put my finger on it, but when I walked in, I felt like I was intruding on something. I think the one that got me started on paperwork was Melissa, she was prickly. Anyway, I was called right at my appointment time by a dental assistant. She didn't seem thrilled to be there and she too was not exactly friendly. She did a scan of my entire jaw and took 5 X-rays so I feel pretty well irradiated now. The cleaning was done by a temp hygienist, who was actually a stark contrast in friendliness. She was pleasant and very nice. Unfortunately, I've experienced better cleaning at other places... perhaps she'll get better with experience. Dr. Steele was also quite pleasant and I liked her personality, but I did feel that she maybe a little inexperienced and tentative. My fluoride treatment was done by the not-so-thrilled dental assistant who irradiated me earlier. Her fluoride application job was clunky and careless at best. She got fluoride all over my lips inside and out, sprayed water on my face as she tried to rinse. It would have been really helpful if she explained what the treatment would feel and taste like and whether it was ok to swallow some or not. Anyway, I am not sure if it's normal or not, but by the time she walked out, I felt gummy stuff all over my teeth and inside of my lips. I rushed home to do something about that and saw cement like gunk on teeth and lips that I brushed off. Again, not sure if I was supposed to brush them off or not, but I sure wan't gonna walk around looking like I had giant stickty food stuck all over my teeth. Before I left, Melissa the prickly receptionist sat down with me to go over the treatment plan and price listing. She went through the paperwork in a matter-of-fact and succint manner. I did like the price listing - very nice and helpful. Now, I know that I shouldn't be so hung up on personalities and friendliness, but to me, they matter... if that makes me shallow, so be it. Having experienced a good dental practice and knowing how good cleaning and consultation are done, I will most likely not return here and take my treatments elsewhere... The overall appearance of the dental office was modern and clean looking. Best wishes to Dr. Steele and the temp hygenist. read more

Dr. Steele's staff is amongst the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. They are condescending and belligerent. It's clear that this is a new practice with a focus on the bottom line above all else. Dr. Steele is more of a salesperson than a dentist, continually pushing for procedures that are not necessary. There are far too many accomplished dentists who care about their patients for anyone to have to endure this kind of treatment. read more

Dr. Steele herself is awesome. Her office staff? Not so much. I received an $800 bill in the mail and when I called, I asked if they even billed my insurance and the response was "we didn't hear back from them." So instead of TRYING to get a hold of them or I don't know, INFORMING me, they just sent me the bill. Fast forward and there was a balance due. I had called and left two messages with the office staff for the billing department to call me...not once did I receive a phone call back, until I got a Facebook message from someone (who I guess works there) telling me I was close to being sent to collections. I will definitely be finding a new dentist. SO unprofessional...which is a shame, because again, Dr. Steele is a great dentist. read more

Fantastic staff, very friendly and informative. Megan and the other receptionist are super friendly. You actually receive a gift from them for being a first time patient! Megan handed me the gift immediately upon greeting me! The woman who cleaned my teeth knew how to do her job well, but her people skills were a little rough. Whilst trying to ask her questions, she seemed short and snarky, but she could of just had a bad day. Luckily, she doesn't work there, she was just happening to fill in for them while they were short staffed. The dentist who came out and examined my teeth (I feel so bad because I don't remember her name). She shook my hand, introduced herself, and had the attitude of "I'm here to help you." Will definitely be getting my appointments done here from now on. Keep up the great work and attitude, guys! read more

I made an appointment and gave my insurance information. I confirmed via phone and then received two text messages confirming my appointment. I had to take off work to go to this appointment. When I showed up they said they canceled my appointment because they called my insurance company and said I didn't have dental (which is not true). Regardless, a call would have been nice.. Even a text message saying it was canceled instead of a text message saying it was confirmed the day of. The staff did not handle it in a professional manner and was very rude. read more

Some people will say they hate the dentist. I can tell you that I am a dentist-o-phobe -- cold sweats, nausea, the works. I was dreading my cleaning and my subsequent cavity filling and I am here to report that, not only was it not a terrible experience, it was rather pleasant. Everything is super clean, shiny, and modern. The people who work here are so friendly and nice and Dr. Steele was amazing. No pain at all and they didn't even shame me for my dental fear, like some dentists have. Cavity filling was painless and over before I knew it. I wish I had found this place years ago because it might be the beginning of my getting over the fear. Highly recommended. read more
