We called three companies for bids to clean the floor tile and carpeting in our home. We knew the tile was dirty, but truly had NO idea just how bad it had gotten over the years. We called the company to set an appointment for him to do the job and the company rep who answered was very nice and we set the appointment for two days before Thanksgiving! WOW!!! We own and manage several rentals. The first time we called them out to our rental in Scottsdale, amazing! Pricing was fair, they were prompt, no BS, honest work. I was extremely happy. The 2nd time I called them, tech was 4 hours late but I needed the carpets done otherwise I would have canceled. When he showed up, he spent 10 mins trying to upsell me to all these other services that would reset in 2.5 times the quoted amount when I booked the appointment. I told him NO several times before he finally agreed to do what I had contacted them to do except he added an environmental service charge of an additional $15. Do these people get paid a commission? I was very upfront about the condition of the carpet when booking and was completely sticker shocked when the tech showed up and provided me with the "real" quote. Very disappointing. I will say, if you need a simple carpet cleaning then they will be your best bet but if you have anything beyond that, expect to pay 2-3 times what you're quoted over the phone. Message to the company, perhaps better train your scheduler to ask better questions to set expectations for the customer. Otherwise expect more reviews of upset customers for bait and switch tactics. read more

I heard about Steamy Concepts on the radio in Phoenix. Given I had some carpets, both area rugs and wall-to-wall, in need of cleaning I decided to give them a try. WOW! Am I happy I did! The process was a breeze. I booked my appointment on-line and it was very easy and gave me plenty of dates and times to choose from according to my schedule. Joseph, the Steamy Concepts technician, arrived on the specified day and within the time frame I had chosen. He computed my quote and we talked about the cleaning process and what add on options I may want. Once that was settled he got to work. Not only do my carpets look good as new but I know that they are deep down clean. Joseph worked by himself and cleaned those carpets like they were his own. We had our two bedroom carpets cleaned, our living room area rug, our couch, and our loveseat cleaned. All areas took about 2 hours max to complete and looked significantly better immediately after. There were a few stains that came out as well on the loveseat which we weren't entirely expecting so that was a nice surprise. It did take a long while for everything to dry but this was explained to us prior to the service happening and was understandable. My husband and I just utilized the time to be productive in other areas of our home as well as run some errands. We have three dogs and are still very pleased with how everything turned out and has held up. Price was fair and worth the money. We will utilize this company and their services again! read more

The technicians were nice but the end result of my tile grout cleaning was okay. I have been cleaning the grout today with a wire brush and bleach because they left multiple areas of ground in dirt which I was able to scrub out. Their pictures are deceiving because if you look at the after pictures of my floor you do not see the grout dirt but walking in the house it's everywhere. Also they charge you more then the online estimate and up sell to seal the grout. In the future, I will go with a different company that truly knows how to clean grout. read more

This review seems contradictory as Steamy Concepts was low on honesty and pricing; but, high on the finished job. They quoted a carpet cleaning job for roughly $280. When they came to our house, they had high pressure add ons bringing the price to roughly $1200, 4 times their quote. We turned those down; but, they split one room into 2 and added $80 for an 8x10 area rug, still bringing the total to $460 versus a $280 quote. They took a long time, with the technician griping about us not buying the expensive deep cleaning options. When they left, there were a couple large bubbles in the loft and a bedroom. When it dried, the bubbles eventually settled out. Also when it was done, it was the cleanest carpet job I had seen in years. But, we don't care to deal with the griping and not holding to their quote. read more

My carpets are old but I am not replacing them now as my dog is getting up there in age, and although she has not had accidents in the house, you never know. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! OVERPRICED and ROOMS smelled like CHEMICALS and WET DOG afterwards. We received service on Feb 10, 2021. We booked 4 rooms and our dining chairs to get cleaned. My entire house smelled like dirty dog. When we contacted the company they said they would come out and retreat areas. They pressured my husband and said they had to do it before issuing refund. They claim they have a 30 day money back guarantee. This is if you let them come back in to clean again. I declined them coming back in. I believe they use old equipment, it is not up to par with other cleaners. We called EURO clean and they were day and night in comparison. They recleaned our carpets and no dirty dog smell. Can Steamy Concepts make our tile and grout look new again? I will never know. I am not sure if their service is good or not. I wanted to give them a try and see - I was looking to get some tile/grout looking like new again. I set an online appointment for the day that worked best for me; and they replied the next day with a text confirming the day - that's great. However, they gave me a 6-hour window (12 pm -6 pm) - That' not good. I called them to ask if they would provide a shorter time-window, perhaps the night before when they have their routes in place for the next day and they said they do not schedule that way. William said they would give me a 1/2 hour call ahead when on their way. With running kiddos around, etc ... , Steamy Concepts' business model just doesn't work for me. Total bummer, as I really wanted to check out their tile cleaning services. With work and family, I just don't have 6 hours to wait around - even with working from home. I gave them 2 stars because their scheduling. I believe, if you know your business, you should be able to schedule at least a 2-3 hour window at a minimum, barring any unexpected circumstances. You have the details of the job - and if you are not sure - confirm the details with your client. Maybe Steamy Concepts didn't really want the job because I clicked their specials $ option. I am not sure. But as I'm going through the yelp reviews to the right of my screen as I write this, I'm not sure. It looks like you need to be weary of their pricing practices. There are many reviews about their pricing practices. They give one estimate and when on-site, the price is actually 4Xs the estimate - add-ons sales pressure. But to be fair, it looks like people are happy with the carpet cleaning techs' service in the reviews. - there's a positive. Regardless, read the yelp reviews. No where did I see anything about their scheduling practices and I want to share that piece with you. Maybe it was for the best that it didn't work out for me. They are always professional don't try and do that up sell bs most carpet cleaning companies do. So let me start with saying that at the beginning of my experience I would have given this place negative stars if possible. I had a guy named Andreco or something close to that come by. Initially when I talked to this company it was $139 for four rooms. This guy tried to charge me $1300. I told him I wanted the basic cleaning and then he proceeded to tell me that his iPad was broken and he couldn't proceed with out signatures. I was like are you kidding me. The day before Easter and I have people coming over and you can't do it because your iPad isn't working. He said he will get his manager to call me and I asked him to wait while I talk to the manager. He got in his car and had the audacity to leave. So I called the office and they sent out another guy, Edward who was absolutely spectacular he did exactly what I needed him to do considering that I am not keeping this carpet forever and I couldn't have been more happy with his service. The first guy should be fired on the spot. Anybody who would charge $1300 for a 1700 square-foot house is out of his goddamn mind. And he was so rude on top of it. When he was trying to sneak out of my house after he said that he would have the manager call me in front of him he went down a dead-end driveway and had to drive past me again as he left. Let me start, my badly stained carpets with my sons three dogs visiting for 5 months (and yes dogs accidents too) and 2 Sofas were desperate need of cleaning and odor removal .... These guys did an AWESOME job! we had about 1000 sf of tile throughout the house that had aged over time with dirt and grime your typical household clean job just can't tackle. They were on time, super professional and polite, clearly explained the process, options and add-ons before they started (I opted for the additional germacide/disinfectant as we have dogs). Their scrub, clean and steam system brought back close to if not the original grout color and a whole new level of clean to the tile itself, even in tough high traffic areas! Little touches like placing plastic corner guards so the hoses and cords don't scuff up the walls, booties and gloves added to the confidence I have in this company. Very disappointed. When guy was moving equipment out I slid the couch over on the tile floor and the DR table (everything else I had off the floor) and I asked why he didn't do u see those. He said they don't move furniture. I told him I was there and could have slid it over as I just did. Then he said he has to charge extra to move furniture. Then he said he did do under the couch and I said it was obvious he didn't plus he said he didn't and not to mention my sons toys under the couch were a give away. He said he is NOT going to move toys and I said 3 Nerf bullets would have moved themselves. Under cabinets not clean, only what the machine can reach he said. So I am now having to finish with a brush on my knees which he said he doesn't do although he had the brush to do it. read more

Tech arrived - was very informative. We had just purchased the home and wanted the best job done in hopes we wouldn't have to replace carpets - this is where it went South. I had anticipated about 400.00 - listened to the tech's recommendations - 1085.00 for approx 1200' of carpet, a couch and recliner ........ once again, thought it would still be cheaper than new carpets. Said 4-6 hr dry time - wrong ! It was still sticky 72 hrs later as a result of the super duper magical cleaning machine that somehow was supposed to penetrate the jute and pull out 95% of the urine ........... dog urine spots are now 3 times larger than when he started - and the smell is worse than before - it has now been 1 week since 'cleaning' - and it still smells. I called office this past Monday and they offered to come back and make it right ....... house is now full of boxes from moving - don't want to go thru the 3 day dry time again .... I had an appointment to have them do the house we moved out of - cx'd that - don't need that aggravation all over again (no dog spots where we moved from) just didn't want to reward them with another job after the first job ....... I just did an internet search and learned if you have dog urine issues DO NOT TRY TO STEAM CLEAN DOG URINE OUT OF CARPET ........... wish I would have done just a little bit more research on that issue. read more
