On July 9th @ 7:30a.m. Citrus Bright were hired to clean carpet and a sectional. I wanted it early in the morning so the carpets would dry before the party for my grandsons 21st birthday which was held here. That day no one informed me they were running late; I had to call them. a couple of hrs. went by I call again to find out why no one had arrived. I was told one employee went home sick and another was having problems with their vehicle. Finally, Tyson Goudy arrived 6 hrs. after my appointment. Needless to say, the carpets were still damp for the party. I would have thought they would offer me something for the 6 hour wait and not keeping me informed that they had a problem. Tyson did not have a clue the appointment was 6 hours late. They are very lucky to have him; he did an outstanding job! It is amazing your reply to me was about Tyson and not for being 6 hrs. late. Ecstatic! Wow! How did I not do this sooner? I have a rental that has terrible grout. It's been driving me crazy as long as I've owned it (15yrs). The white (ish) grout always looks mucky and it's impossible to clean with moping alone. I have tried everything from getting on my hands and knees with a tooth brush to painting & sealing. We used them once last year and it was good. This last time they called less than an hour before the appointment and cancelled two days in a row. When they (not Citrus Bright, AZ Carpet Cleaners) did show up the employee reeked of cigarette smoke and proceeded to get dirt and caked-on dry mud all over the hallway floor before the cleaning (2 rooms, 1 area rug) started. After the cleaning was complete and he was tallying the invoice, he said "I tried to clean the hall but ..." and left it at that. I asked "But what?" And he just stared and gave me the invoice to sign. Nice enough kid, but marginal effort must be his middle name. In addition to that he left a few large puddles around the area rug that I had to clean as well as the footprints and water marks in the hallway. I do not recommend using this company as it appears they are outsourcing their jobs to people that will do the least amount possible to be considered "job complete". read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Had them out to a brand new carpet/home for a pet stain. The " technician ", and I use that lightly, rubbed a solution with his dirty shoes into the carpet. Citrus Bright came to our home in early May 2022 to clean our carpets. Their equipment melted our artificial grass in the front of the home as evidenced by our security system. They initially said they could steam the grass and rake it out, this was done at the beginning of June and it did not work. Now I have reached out to them for the last 10 days and have not received a call, or text on their intentions. Initially I tried to hire Stanley Steemer to come out and clean my couch. Upon arrival they told me they wouldn't be able to clean it without damaging it? Luckily Citrus Bright was able to save the day. The cleaner was very polite and got the job done quickly. My couch and rug look great! He wasn't able to reach two feet of my rug that was underneath the couch to clean but aside from that I had 0 issues with the job done. I don't like how they seemed unorganized. Didn't have time to do everything I wanted because the guy didn't know from the booking info. Someone forgot to put down. They told me the dry time was short when actually it's a lot longer. Being natural scent it's not. It's a very strong chemical smell which I'm not suppose to be around. I spoke with one of the owners, Mike. I told him I needed the whole downstairs of tile cleaned, the landing downstairs, 16 stairs, the landing upstairs, the hallway and 3 bedrooms of carpet cleaned and also needed my Lazy Boy cleaned as I was donating it. He stated he wanted my business, threw in free enzyme cleaning, quoted me a price and scheduled me for that same afternoon. Upon arrival, the worker did a walk-through and started adding on the expense for the stairs and the hallway and the landing etc. I told him that's not what Mike and I agreed to. He said he'd need to charge me extra and then asked what I wanted him to do. I said that I wanted him to leave. He left and I contacted Mike and explained the situation. He said he was going to call his partner and get back with me. A few minutes later my phone rang and it was the employee who had done the walk-through. He said he was back to clean. I walked outside and as soon as I saw the look on his face I said, "you don't want to be here, do you?" He said he did not but that it was between him and his boss. He appeared to be about my son's age so I just talked to him to see what was going on. It turns out these guys aren't paid much and make their living on the "extras" they can upsell once they get to the home and by his boss promising free stuff it takes money from his family. I inquired as to how much in commission he would have earned and he said, "about 40 bucks". I went to my purse and handed him $40 and said I hoped it made the job worthwhile and that I understood his situation. He cleaned and we chatted a bit. Super nice guy! At the end I also tipped him $40. I didn't have to but I would have tipped the 20% and thought it only fair. So! And additional $80 paid for the service. Upon leaving it took until the next morning for the carpet to be dry but it was crunchy. And the tile cleaner did not clean my grout at all. It was basically an extremely expensive steam clean but there was no deep clean as shown in the pictures at all. The next day I received a call from a lady asking if I was satisfied with how my service went. I asked her why my carpets were crunchy and why I wasn't given the enzyme treatment Mike promised. She said she didn't know but would ask him and call me back. It's been over 48 hours now and I don't suspect I'll hear back. I contacted another carpet company who said it sounds like the carpets have a lot of residue on them that should not be there because that stickiness with attract dirt - which I suspect is the reason - so they have a repeat customer. Well, not me! I'll keep telling my story and staying away from this company. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. read more

It has been a while since this company, hired by my former landlord, came to my home to clean my carpet as a result of a water leak. It was a relatively small area that they cleaned but they were amazing! The carpet looked great, there was no residual smell. They came to check on it often and left the carpet looking and smelling clean. The techs were so respectful and helpful, they left a great impression and I recommend using them. A year after, my apartment flooded again (upstairs neighbors) and the owners used a different company, I kept insisting on having Citrus Bright do it but the new owners refused, that's a different review but it made me appreciate Citrus Bright so much more. read more
