Pricing was just as quoted and I even added in a rug while they were here with a straightforward add on price. To clean three rooms, a couch, and rug didn't break the bank at all. They are super quick and got out all of my couch stains (thanks to a dirty handed toddler) and all the cat throw up and pee from my carpet and rugs. Everything smelled fresh and looked clean. Had a great experience with Mike and his crew at Steam Giant this morning and wanted to provide my input. I'm due to deliver my baby any day now, and had the urge to clean everything, starting with my carpets. My carpets were in bad shape and Mike did a walk-through, explained the process and then got to work. They were here barely an hour and did two large rooms and the hallway. I wish I took before & after pictures. I work from home and I was busy on the phone and on email and when I turned around, I screamed that I could not believe how clean the carpet looked. WOW. I'm not easily impressed, but the carpets looked better than when I moved in. My friend came over immediately after the cleaning and was stunned as well. Arranging the appointment, confirming, on-time arrival & dealing payment processes were all very smooth. I'll definitely call Mike again in the future. read more

These guys really came through for me in a pinch: I bought a new house and discovered problems with stains/pet odors a couple of days before closing. I called and explained the situation, and they sent two guys out the same day. By that evening, I not only had my carpets cleaned, but had them steam clean my tile and grout in the bathrooms and vacuum out my dryer vents. The guys were very professional. They arrived in uniform, did a walkthrough and gave me a price quote, and went to work. They were very conscientious and performed everything as agreed upon. The technician was on time, courteous, professional and wore a mask the entire time. As someone that used to own a carpet cleaning business I'm familiar with the industry, equipment, process, chemistry, etc. and had certain expectations considering they stated they are IICRC certified. Overall their service, equipment and process is average for what I would expect for the industry. However they have many areas that need improvement and next time will try a different company. When cleaning carpet effectively you need the right chemistry, heat, rinse, wait time after pre-spray, agitation, etc. The biggest issue was they didn't follow the IICRC approved/recommended process but cut corners to go faster, for example they don't brush or agitate at all. They had a rake which is different than brushing. Their process is similar to using your vacuum without the rotating brush turned on and only using the suction. At best only the top of the fibers were cleaned so it looked fairly good but it's not really clean. Unfortunately, this is average for the industry and it's very difficult to find a company that actually cleans well. I think the technician did about as good as he could have done with the equipment and training the owner provided him. They are better than a lot of companies out there that we call 'Splash and Dash' companies but don't expect too much. read more

Reached out through Yelp and almost immediately heard back from the owner. Pricing was a flat $149 with no surprises. Technician was here the same day (my request), even showing up 15 minutes early. Knocked out our entire upstairs (carpeted) and two large area rugs downstairs in probably an hour. Left carpets smelling fresh, looking clean, and almost completely dry. Mike came and cleaned my carpets this morning. My carpets were way overdue for a cleaning, plus we'd had an accident where my son vomited on the carpet and left a big, smelly stain that we couldn't get out. My appointment was scheduled for the next day after I called which was great! I really feel Mike went above and beyond on cleaning the carpets. He got the nasty stain and odor removed and got up other stains I didn't think would come up. He was very friendly and did a great job!
