Upon scheduling an appointment, Earl contacted me and gave me the option for an earlier appointment, which I accepted. Area carpet and recliner poorly cleaned. I had to hand clean the arm of the recliner. The person doing the cleaning was pleasant and moved some furniture I could not move, which I appreciated. Over all the expense was about $400 more than I paid another person who cleaned previously who even used a special service to remove animal urine stain and odor. Area rug in LR is not clean. "Wood" floor has a scrape or gauge about 8-12 inches made by cleaning instrument. I would not use this service again. read more

Finding a reliable carpet cleaner can be a gamble with so many options, but I recently had an exceptional experience with Carpet Dryclean. Earl Laughinghouse initially told us he'd arrive between 12:30 and 1:00 pm, you know, like the cable company. He pulled up right on time at 12:35. He was professional-looking in a clean uniform and very courteous. After a quick introduction we showed him around all 3 floors of the house, pointing out the trouble spots/stains on the carpets. He listened then went to work. Our carpets are 17 years old and have only been cleaned a couple of times, so they were in rough shape. (Two dogs, 3 kids and a recent new puppy will do that to a house.) One thing that was nice was that his setup was very portable and neat - there were no hoses or tubes snaking back to a truck outside. This meant minimal disruption in the house. And he closed the doors to the rooms he was cleaning, significantly reducing the noise. Considering the size of the area we wanted cleaned (all the carpet - about 1,750 sq. ft.), I was amazed that Earl finished the entire house in just a little over 2 hours. Afterward, he walked us through the house to make sure we were happy with everything. He also cleaned up quickly and efficiently. The carpets (stairs too) were completely dry by 5:00 pm that same day and looked fantastic. There was no harsh chemical smell in the air and the they felt fresh and clean with no weird soapy residue. Earl even followed up with a text the next day to confirm we were satisfied now that everything had dried. The price was the icing on the cake. Earl's quote was significantly lower than any other local services we contacted. So low that I was skeptical of how good a job he would do. But I happily stand corrected. His service was professional, efficient, and the carpets turned out a lot better than I thought they ever would. Overall, I can't recommend Carpet Dryclean highly enough. read more

Still 5 stars for this company. After getting a quote last year to have the carpets in our hall and bedrooms done, I forgot all about it. Until I realized that the rugs were in dire need of some TLC from children spilling things and not alerting me or their dad and by the time the stains were found, they were dry and set in. I asked that i be alerted when they were arriving so I could put my dog up and put the way. I was contacted.
