The sandwiches were huge and very good!. He finished half of my half and I got the other half to take home for dinner. We had to save some room for the ice cream. Half of the restaurant is the diner and the other was ice cream and cake. There was plenty of choices of both! It was good creamy ice cream. The salads at TR are always solid, the steak fries were especially crispy that day, and the prime rib was perfect: super tender, perfectly cooked, and not overly fatty. My sister also tried their Full Slab Ribs for the first time, which are supposedly award-winning, but I personally wouldn't give them that much credit. While the ribs were tender and well-cooked, they lacked seasoning. The BBQ sauce was there, but it didn't add much flavor. Maybe it was just an off day, but I'd call them mediocre at best. All in all, this Texas Roadhouse lives up to its reputation for great service and solid steaks -- but maybe skip the ribs and stick with the classics.
