Yummy dinner rolls in a takeout container
    Alyssa S.

Review is for a takeout experience. They got rid of the outdoor seating that Searsucker had - & we were celebrating a birthday and wanted a homey atmosphere anyway. Hostess was great. They don't normally include their delicious (complimentary) dinner rolls in a takeout order, but can add them on request. Food: DINNER ROLLS: *Delicious*. Carby goodness. STEAK: Everyone was very happy SEABASS: I don't eat meat, but I would not recommend the seabass. Very expensive. A giant hunk of fish - but (steakhouse style, I guess), there was absolutely no sauce on it and it tasted a bit fishy. Maybe I was supposed to pay another $6 for "chardonnay butter" in addition to $67 for the lonely piece of fish? I used some of the truffle butter that came with the Hasselback potatoes and then made it more palatable. POTATOES: We got --Hasselback ($19): extremely delicious. Very large. This and the dinner rolls were great. --Baked potato: not quite as exciting as the hasselback, but a very nice example of a loaded backed potato. I don't think you need to pay $16 for this as opposed to having something you can't get everywhere (like the Hasselback). Overall, the dinner showed me that steak-eaters like it - and that it's not for a pescatarian like me. But I was very happy with the rolls & the yummy Hasselback potatoes!!

Came here for a work dinner and we had a wonderful time. The ambience was good and I liked how we could change the brightness of the lamps on the table as needed. The bathroom was also nice and had heated toilets and thick paper towels. The service was great as well, our servers were really nice and knowledgable. They explained the menu and were familiar with everything and were able to answer all of our questions. They also checked in on us frequently and changed our plates in a timely manner. And for the star of the show, the food! We enjoyed a variety of the menu and did family style for our appetizers, sides, and desserts, which was amazing so we could try a little bit of everything. They started us off with complimentary bread which was nice. For appetizers, we started off with the seafood tower, which you can customize with oysters, crab, shrimp, and even lobsters. We opted out of the lobster but the oysters were fresh and delicious and the shrimp were huge. The cold bar is actually displayed towards the center of the restaurant which is a nice show of how fresh their seafood is. We also got the hamachi, torched scallops + caviar, A5 kobe "wine fed" ny strip, and wagyu beef tartare. All the appetizers we tried were delicious but I was blown away by the beef tartare. This was the best tartare I've ever had! For our main course, a majority of us got the ribeye cap, which was delicious and a lot bigger than I expected. I got it cooked medium rare and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Just enough salt and beautiful crust. We also got some lobster tails on the side. We got a lottt of sides and shared them. We tried the creamed spinach, mac and cheese, sautéed wild mushrooms, sautéed sweet corn, blistered shishito peppers, roasted brussels sprouts, crispy hasselback potatoes, boursin cheese whipped potatoes, chef daniel's au gratin potatoes, caesar salad, and broccoli. My favorite side was the sautéed mushrooms. I think the other sides were pretty good but nothing extraordinary. We finished the side with some desserts; we got the ultimate warm vanilla caramel cake and triple chocolate bombe. I liked the caramel cake the most. The contrast of the cold ice cream and warm cake made it so good. The candied pecans and whipped cream paired perfectly. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely come back for a date night so I can share this with my partner!

    22oz ribeye...sooooo good!!!

I don't always enjoy a $250+ fancy meal on myself for a single meal...but when I do, it's when a vendor is treating me! Great service from the hostesses, bartender, bussers, and staff. Gorgeous, elegant and modern inside! Love the open kitchen sections. COCKTAILS! $22 Expresso Martinis and $22 Old Fashioneds are expensive, delish and fabulous! Glad I wasn't paying! $100 Seafood Tower of fresh chilled lobster tails, crab legs and claws, oysters, and giant shrimps..so good! $19 Wedge Salad...an American Classic done exceptionally! $31 Fresh Burrata...the most decadent, smoothest, creamiest and most expensive cheese appetizer I've ever enjoyed! $20 Prime Steak House Meatballs...best meatballs every? $82 22oz Ribeye Steak...JUICY! BEEFY! EXPENSIVE! I love a good meaty well marbled ribeye steak. Extra buttery and melt in your mouth! So good! Easily one of the Top 3 steaks I've ever eaten. Seemed a bit overpriced though, does not come with sides because this is a fancy schmancy restaurant. $16-20 Sides...rich people's version of Mac & Cheese, Creamed spinach, all fantastic. $22 Ultimate Warm Vanilla Caramel Cake...it is truly decadent, delicious, and exceptional, or ultimate? YUM! So glad I wasn't paying...anyone care to take me?

I've dined here several times and the food and service have always been excellent, which is why we chose it again to celebrate my husband's birthday. The ambiance is beautiful and the kitchen consistently delivers, but unfortunately this visit reminded me why the noise level can be a challenge here. When I made the reservation on OpenTable, I specifically requested a quiet table since it was just the two of us and previous visits have been quite loud. We also arrived early hoping that would help. The evening actually started out perfectly -- we were the first guests seated and the dining room was calm and relaxing. Shortly after, two very large parties (around 10-12 people each) were seated right next to us. The noise level escalated quickly and became overwhelming. It got to the point where my husband and I could barely hear each other and eventually stopped trying to talk because it was just too difficult. Our server was also taking care of those large parties, so service slowed quite a bit. Dessert took a while and the wait for the check was longer than expected. When I asked if there were quieter tables available, our server mentioned that the window tables tend to be the quieter option if you arrive early and request them. That was a little frustrating to hear since I had done both when making the reservation. That said, the food was outstanding. We ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk with broccoli, corn, and whipped potatoes, and everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. I truly want to give this restaurant five stars because the food and service have always been strong. But after multiple visits where the noise level has been an issue, it's hard to ignore how much it affects the overall experience -- especially for a special occasion dinner. Great food, beautiful space... just be prepared for the possibility of a very lively dining room.

This is a beautiful place starting with the bar and a beautiful large volume martini. This was a great way to start the nice evening and dinner. Service at the bar is special we were treated like royalty. So Spencer was a superb bartender. Food is served hot and delicious special mashed potatoes and filet mignon so good cook just right. April our server she is very attentive. That atmosphere is very trendy nice music very good for date night or special occasion.

The most amazing experience in everyway. WE WILL be here for every special occasion its actually like being in steak heaven .This is beyond incredible. THE most professional team I've ever witnessed.

Celebrated my birthday and wedding anniversary here and we had an amazing experience! We had a 4:30pm reservation and got there early so we were told to wait in the bar area first. We were seated in a private booth section which we loved. Jared was our server and he was very professional and helpful. We ordered bone-in ribeye, upgraded from 3oz to 8oz Kobe, chicken fried lobster rolls, crispy potatoes, shell and cheese, au gratin potatoes, the red velvet bread pudding, and vanilla ice cream and caramel cake. I wanted to add, the complimentary bread is DELICIOUS. I've never had bread like it before. I loved how juicy my ribeye was, and I enjoyed the uniqueness of the chicken fried lobster roll. We enjoyed how private, clean and high tech the bathrooms were as well, they definitely say a lot about a restaurant. We received personally written cards for the 2 occasions we were celebrating along with writing on our dessert plates which was so kind. Parking is not an issue since it is in a large plaza. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you want to splurge on a nice steak dinner/date night.

Talk about an expensive dinner but it was a memorable one! Ever since this spot opened I have heard incredible things about it and my husband and I decided to do a little date night dinner together since it had been awhile. It was a Friday night and wow it was a very busy spot and when you first walk in it does seem like a loud spot. Thankfully when they walked us to our table we got sat in a private booth that was much quieter and you could actually see into the kitchen which we love. We decided to splurge a little so we did go with one of the waygu steak options to share as well as the mac n cheese and hasselback potatoes as the sides. We also go the cesar salad to share which they split onto 2 plates for us and it comes with a poached egg on top which was interesting but I enjoyed. We did start with the crispy shrimp which I am not the biggest shrimp person but these were so good!! How could I forget about the dirty martini. It was the largest martini I've ever had and they give you the shaker on the side so it is well worth the money. Now the house bread that they bring out is just buttery goodness our waiter even gave us some to go as well as the creamy horseradish which was perfection! Overall it was a great and very expensive experience but one I will remember for a long time!

My fiancé and I decided to go here to celebrate our engagement last night. We were excited because we'd heard good things about it. The restaurant was beautiful but didn't meet my expectations. The food was good but I've had better so I don't think it was worth the price. My fiancé ordered his steak medium rare but it looked rare. I ordered the sea bass which was good but I've had better. The sides were good but I've had equally good au gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts at other restaurants. The complimentary bread reminded me too much of the crescent rolls you buy at the store which I'm not a big fan of. Half way through eating I started to feel sick to my stomach. I don't have any food restrictions or allergies. I eat everything so for me to not feel well after eating half of my food I was shocked. I still feel sick to my stomach. The drinks were good and the only thing that is worth the price. If you decide to go I'd recommend just going to the bar for drinks. They don't offer complimentary desserts for celebrations. I thought for the price we paid they would've given us something small for our engagement celebration especially because they asked us if we were celebrating something. After spending just under $400 I don't think it was worth it.

Arman!!!! Wow- he was made for this job. You can tell he takes so much pride in what he does. I loved his enthusiasm for the menu- the restaurant, the food- so refreshing. A gem of a human and a server!! As a former fine dining service myself (and picky eater) I can't say enough good things about him. I hope his management team knows what an asset he is. As for the food- wow. Hubby and I shared the Superfopd salad and it was SO GOOD! For our main, Hubby had the grass fed 12 ounce New York strip and I had Chilean Seabas. We shared the au gratin potatoes. Wow. Everything was cooked to perfection and we. Were. Stuffed! But- of course we had to order dessert (why!?? Because it all sounded too good!). I had the triple chocolate Bombe and hubby had the key lime pie (think cheesecake-texture). I mean- I couldn't stop eating my dessert even tho I wa stuffed. It's embarrassing to admit- but Ray had me at toasted marshmallows and a hard chocolate shell (insert happy cry emoji here). All in all I get why this place is priced the way it is. It's the best food- best experience and best service (from ALL the staff!). We love coming back and can't wait for our next visit.

Service as always is stellar and a high end experience from start to finish. This was a work dinner with 12 people. Appetizers and sides were ordered family-style, with two of each for the table. I ordered the 45-day dry-aged bone-in ribeye (22 oz, $154) with a butter-poached Alaskan king crab leg meat add-on. If I could do this everytime I would. The butter soaked into my steak so beautifully, and I actually pushed the crab to the side so I could eat it at my own pace with my whole plate. Family-style appetizers included crispy shrimp ($31), tomato and Alaskan king crab stack ($48), hanging bacon ($29), and (not pictured) Pacific yellowtail hamachi ($39). The shrimp was so good, 10/10 recommend as well as the hamachi. Bacon didn't do it for me, wasn't really a fan. The stack was delicious and it actually felt like a palette cleanser. Family-style sides included roasted Brussels sprouts ($19), crème brûlée corn ($21), shishito peppers ($16), and Alaskan king crab mashed potatoes ($52). The crème brûlée corn always slaps, 10/10. Shishito peppers were a knew side for me they were good and I wish I had took more home. Mashed potatoes were good but I actually don't think the needed the crab. I liked the au gratin potatoes more. I had a non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita ($16). Super tasty but I'm sure it's better with liquor I just don't like to do that while on the clock and needing to drive home. For dessert, I tasted the triple chocolate bombe ($19), red velvet bread pudding ($18), and ultimate caramel cake ($22). I wasn't impressed by the desserts, I honestly could've done without and been super satisfied. They were all very sweet and maybe if I wasn't already super full I'd had enjoyed the more. I'm glad I got the

OMG I think I'm still high from dinner. The entire meal felt like a dream. First and foremost, Jacob and the entire team were incredible. The attentiveness and hospitality made this place a 100/10!!! It was my first time here with my favorite family and friends and we ordered so much! The steaks were just unreal and cooked to perfection. We had the 18 oz bone in filet mignon and it was so tender! Tendernism! My favorite was the kc bone in steak. It had some fat and was very meaty. You'll have to try their peppercorn sauce, it was like a nice gravy. The sides and appetizers were all amazing as well. Get the sweet corn, roasted broccoli, fried lobster and fried shrimp! From the service to the food, everything delivered. The meal here was a great way to start 2026!

Came here to celebrate our anniversary, and it's truly a wonderful place for a special occasion--especially if you love a great steak and don't mind splurging. Even on a Monday night in early January, the restaurant was completely full by the end of the evening, which says a lot. There's a beautiful area near the kitchen with private tables enclosed by glass walls. If we return, we'll definitely request seating there. This was our second visit, and while the service was still very good, it felt a bit less over-the-top than our first time--possibly because a server was being trained. One last thing that absolutely deserves a mention: the bathroom. Heated seats and a bidet. Unexpected, but impressive.

I'm glad we arrived early at 5:30 for dinner because the crowd really starts to build after 6 p.m. This visit was for a special occasion, as it was my sister's birthday. We ordered the crab cakes and the pasta Bolognese, both of which were delicious. The fish and chips were also better than what you find at most restaurants. The lightly battered fish was crispy yet light, and the French fries were nicely seasoned and crunchy. Jackson was always attentive in clearing our plates, which I appreciated since we had a very small table. Vinny, our server, was consistently attentive and made the whole experience feel relaxing and enjoyable. The patio seating is very visible from the street, which adds to the lively atmosphere. Overall, the prices felt very reasonable for the quality of the food.

From the outside, it appears rather small, which is why I was surprised by its size when I visited; the restaurant extends deeply inwards, so it is bigger than expected. At night, the atmosphere is also very fun and lively, even on a weekday. Parking isn't fun, but street parking and (paid) structure parking are options. I came here recently for a work dinner, and I just needed to make one or two loops. And before I delve into the food, I want to give a quick shoutout for the great service we received all night! Our waiter was very diligent and attentive; he made sure to provide updates when items were stalled. Several of us had to leave early, and so he made sure to get us to-go containers so we could take our food home. Okay, now for the food! Appetizers: - Ahi Poke Wontons: 7/10. The wonton chips were crispy and not oily at all. The sweet ginger was a bit overpowering, though. - Salt & Pepper Shrimp: 6/10. I'm not a huge fan of shrimp, but these were good! A bit crispy, and very large! This was my coworker's favorite appetizer. - Grilled Steak Skewers: 8/10. Delicious! The herb marinade was subtle, but it added that extra punch to some already tender steak. I get easily icked out by beef, but the size of these bites made it easily palatable. - Crab cakes: 9/10. My favorite bite of the night!! Although the crab flavor wasn't super pronounced, it was delicious. The crispiness of the exterior paired nicely with the soft filling. I think I had like four of these by myself. Starter: - Baby gem caesar salad: 5/10. Kinda mid salad. I mean, it's good, but nothing memorable. It looks kinda sad since there was no protein. Entree: - Sesame-crusted king salmon. 8/10. Very nice presentation! I love the way they cooked their heirloom baby carrots. The shoyu butter was pleasant without being overwhelming. The salmon filet was a good size, too. Dessert: - Chocolate brownie: 9.5/10. I'm easy to please with desserts! This was so yummy! The cold vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate brownie combination is hard to mess up. Obviously, it is very sweet, but my sweet tooth loved it. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Sibicca. I would recommend it, and I can see myself coming back!

I understand it's fine dining but, $40+ dollars for 3 scallops is a bit much.. Overall, a great spot for a date, to celebrate a special occasion, would not come too often unless I'm rich.

The outside patio is especially pleasant and makes for a great place to sit, enjoy your meal, and take in the fresh ocean air. Being so close to the ocean really adds to the experience and gives the whole place a laid back coastal feel. The menu features Mexican and Latin fusion food with some creative and flavorful options. Everything I tried felt thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. The cucumber margarita was incredibly refreshing with a bright cucumber flavor and just the right touch of sweetness. It was crisp, light, and perfect for the setting. The seaside molcajete was a standout dish for me. It is a hearty seafood stew served bubbling hot and packed with different kinds of seafood. If you enjoy seafood, this is definitely something worth ordering. The Baja fish tacos were also very satisfying with thick pieces of fish that were flaky and flavorful. It is a simple dish but done very well. I also tried the chicken enchiladas which came as a comforting plate with a little bit of everything. The chicken was tender and the dish had a rich and satisfying flavor. Overall Tamarindo Del Mar is a great spot if you are looking for Mexican and Latin inspired dishes in a relaxed coastal setting. Between the pleasant patio, the ocean nearby, and the flavorful food, it is definitely a place I would come back to.

This restaurant did absolutely nothing for my tastebuds, I should have saved my money and ate at the taco shop across the street instead. If you are not a fan of traditional Mexican food and prefer a more contemporary approach , this might be the place for you.

We have now decided that we stop at Ranch 45 to pickup food and take it with us to Carruth. I visited with family so there was 6 of us in total and they managed our orders like a champm We shared the oysters which were a good size and all very fresh. I had the salmon and it was delicious. I'd say it was my favorite until I tried my mom's fish and chips which then stole the show. I can't recommend the fish and chips enough. No big drinks or cocktails for us but I can see this place being a great place during a sunset or just a place with a great view. I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting or locals. Enjoy!

Dear Senior Management Team,…read more My family I visited Monarch Ocean Pub on mother day, expecting to have a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the behavior of one of your managers, Hope. My mother was on the phone with my sister through FaceTime, simply talking and enjoying herself. Hope approached my mother in a very aggressive and unprofessional manner, standing extremely close to her and angrily telling her to hang up the phone and stop recording, even though my mother was not recording anyone. I tried to explain that my mother does not speak English very well, but instead of handling the situation professionally, Hope accused me of being rude, told us to leave, and threatened to call the police. Her behavior made both my mother and me feel very upset, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. She also stood very close to us and made physical contact by touching me, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. No customer should be treated this way. We came to your business hoping to enjoy ourselves and receive good service, but instead we experienced rude, aggressive, and unacceptable treatment from a manager. I hope senior management will address this situation seriously so that no other customers have to go through the same experience. Because of this incident, we do not feel comfortable returning to that location.

Everyone who waited on us were attentive and personable. Coya Peruvian Secret lives up to precisely what their name suggests. . . so let's keep it a secret of on the down low. Shhhhh, it's better that way.

So we took the coast and enjoyed the long way to the restaurant so we could get there at the right time. No issues parking, but we went during a slow time. It's off steet parking, there's not a parking lot, but again we found plenty of spots right in front of the restaurant. They have pretty and colorful decor. Fun lights and beautiful flowering tree coverage. Seating is outdoors so dress accordingly. I knew this because we've enjoyed dining here a few times, so I actually used my little throw blanket. It's causal but some Couples dress up and eat here too. Server was great. He was tentative and nice. I knew I wanted the shrimp causa and my daughter's favorite Peruvian dish is Lomo saltado, so thatd what she ordered. He told us about the specials so we went with trying the baked scallops. I'd asked for 2 and he accidentally brought 4 but immediately realized and without us having to even ask, he offered to take the extra two off. So grateful he caught that. My daughter doesn't like scallops and I just wanted to try them. I like sea scallops but these were bay scallops. I never asked so I shouldn't have assumed. It was a tasty appetizer, talked my daughter into trying it but she wasn't interested to try more. She loves Parmesan cheese and there was a lot but she wouldn't attempt the scallops. They were not under nor over cooked. I'm not sure what made it taste so unique but we both agreed we've never tasted anything like it. The shrimp causa wasnt the same flavor as months months ago. We don't live near so it's been a while since we've tried it. The alioli was a lot spicier than ever but still had good flavor but the causa was dry. But I had a side of alioli to help with that. Shrimp was tasty. Several other restaurants shrimp has been tasting off for months but this place shrimp tasted better. The Inca and chicha were delicious. I miss the cut up apple they use to put in it but still tastes fresh. Lomo Saltado was just two huge potato wedges and very few rice. Look at the photo. We did not eat any of it yet. This is the portion. It had good amount of jugó but the flavor wasnt like anything we'd tasted in Peru. BUT there's many many areas in Peru and we've only lived in a few and have only visited a handful more so just because it's not like any lomo we've tasted, doesn't mean it's not Peruvian. My daughter still liked it. It was high soy sauce and high vinegar taste. Lomo has both, but it was missing the cumin and flame flavor for me. We don't like potato wedges at all but she cut it up and made due with it. We were sooooo hungry from all day at the zoo so we almost finished all of it. None of the dishes are repeats for us but again, they taste good, just not the flavors we are use to, it's been a while so maybe that's why the causa and lomo tasted different. The server asked how is everything, im sure if we had said something he'd probably sought to help, but really it is what it is. I just think they cook differently then what we have had living in Peru. My husband had the seco here time ago, it's was incredibly delicious. He loves lamb. It was cooked perfectly and the frijoles were delicious as well. I hope the decide to put that dish back on the menu. Please. Not every visit is gonna go perfectly, that's not possible. Still a fun colorful restaurant with great service. Plates had great presentation. Not long at all ago I enjoyed the ceviche. I was just too cold to get it this time. Gonna got for it next time. Another couple got a huge salad. It looked so good, imma look for it on the menu next time.
