I've had a lot of different dishes here. Everything is decent, nothing is amazing. I'm sure it's more naturally sourced than big box retailers or other restaurants but nothing I've ever had here is good enough to justify the additional cost. The service is fast and friendly, inside is always spotless with the exception of one time there were probably 30-40 flys inside and they put those spinning fly deterrent machines everywhere. Just can't get over the very average food for a very above average price.

Breakfast Burrito with Beef Bacon

Same restaurant group as Tanners in Oceanside. I was just looking for a quick breakfast and stumbled into this. Balanced burrito with creamy eggs, crema, tallow fries and beef bacon. It's perfect. Not greasy and all the ingredients are of the highest quality. Service is great! Everyone is friendly and will give tons of details about their product (there's a butcher shop as well). Come enjoy this gem.

Been here twice for a work lunch and really appreciate the service! Everyone is friendly and service is quick. The prices are kinda ok, not too bad for the quality really! This time around I tried the burrito and it's very very good. The carne was not dry and really great quality meat. The tortilla and the salsas were also better than expected! There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoor. It's a great casual lunch place and will definitely be returning to try something else!

Amazing BBQ beef with a tangy Carolina style sauce with a slight kick. I'm definitely going to try the sit-down restaurant! #yelpinbloom2026

Signage for Ranch 45 is well visible. Plenty of available street and private parking spaces. WiFi is also available if you wanted to do dine here while working. Staff is friendly upon arrival and interior spaces are clean. Plenty of indoor and outdoor patio spaces. Dogs are welcome outside. I truly enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. It is breezy during winter months but can be very nice to sit during the summer months. Food is fresh and tasty. Avocado Toast on thin toasted Sourdough bread with mini heirloom tomatoes were delicious. Egg burrito with Chorizo was hearty and flavorful. Matcha latte and ice tea is good. Free refills on the fresh brewed ice tea is available.

Went here to have breakfast with my dad Saturday morning . He loved it so much. Everything is so fresh including the cute little flowers on the table. Staff is friendly and very attentive, the food came out fast. They have plenty of seating outside and inside with TVs! Will be coming again because prices are also really good ! Recommend if you haven't tried it out yet

Yes! This was actually my first time here. Service was friendly and quick. Late morning so it was slow and super chill. Came for the steak and eggs. Could have brought home a whole lot more. Their selection of meats and aged steaks is really good. I'll definitely pick up some protein on my next visit. What a great shop/eatery

We found Ranch 45 Local Provisions on Yelp. What a great place! Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of seating indoor and outside. Very spacious open area with fresh flowers inside mason jars on the tables. Very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. Armani warmly greeted us and gave us recommendations on the menu. All of the food was delicious and flavorful. I had the matcha latte with avocado toast and the Dutch steak. We will definitely return when we visit SD again.

Man, came here on a Thursday at sunset instead of going to a steakhouse because we wanted a good quality steak without paying triple the price. We sat outside, and it was such a vibe. That way, we got to eat appetizer, steak, salad, and dessert, 2 glasses for less than what we would have paid at a steakhouse, with way less food. We started with their sweet and spicy wings, with their in house ranch! They slapped y'all, don't skip it. The ranch had dill in it, i need this bottled and in my fridge with everything. I love the steak duo, their chimichurri and steak sauce was delicious! Steak was made to perfection, so tender and juicy! Seasoned and charred out the outside, mmm! It was perfect with fries cooked in tallow. We got the ranch 45 salad too so, it was a complete meal with a broccolini on the side. I am so satisfied. We paired it with a duck horn cab and honestly, I am so glad we didn't choose the steakhouse down the street. Lastly, we got a peach cobbler for dessert. Please don't skip this. The bottom of the cobbler was so crispy and carmalized, the peach was so warm and soft, with the crumbles and ice cream on top. We split it with the 3 of us and it disappeared so fast! We are so happy and off to a concert now. Two buzzed hot girls and 1 DD man. We ate everything so fast and totally forgot to take photos. That's how bomb. Also, their service is top notch. The staff and specifically our server Matt, was so attentive, kind and knowledgeable. I will say less and just let you come experience it for yourselves.

Based on our last visit at lunch, decided to come in to try the breakfast offering. Ranch 45 delivers again. Had the Dutch steak and eggs and house coffee. Steak was a bit too done for medium but it was a thin cut so totally understandable. It was still tender so definitely good quality meat. House was excellent as well. It was a beautiful morning to sit out at the outdoor table and pre-game for San Diego county Fair outing.

The service provided was subpar. The waitress elevated the heat lamp to stand over our friends' food while crossing her arms on the counter and breathing over their tray for several minutes. The food should have been served promptly, but instead, waited for the burger for at least 20 minutes, which was then served bloody rare. Medium was the order. The reason for the delay remains unclear. Additionally, the onion rings were cold. Upon requesting that the meal be remade, was only provided with a smashed, dry burger on a very cold bun. The waitress was uninterested in communication, only asking if she could take the finished plates but then only taking one. The unwanted food tray was not taken either until another waitress did so closer to the end of our meal. We observed another customer also sending their burger back, and other customers were waiting excessively long. It is possible that there was an inexperienced cook. Yet the kabob I had was cooked perfectly, and the pastrami sandwich was excellent. However, we will not be returning to this establishment. The service is unacceptable, and the ambiance was unfriendly and lazy. The restaurant has potential to be great with a change of employees who care about customer satisfaction.

Second burger they served medium. Very thin and dry.

There is a small lot directly behind it, but I'd rec street parking or the really large lot the next street over for ease.

Our children have been there as babies, and all of our dogs have been there for the last decade and a half. Recently me and a friend dined at Claire's on Cedros while I was visiting from Florida (She lives…read morein San Diego.) I went last time I was here a year ago, and remembered how much I loved everything about it. (Food, drink, staff, and ambiance.) We went on a Wednesday and had an amazing breakfast. I had the Tuscan Benedict and my friend had the California omelet- both were outstanding and cooked perfectly. We each had a latte, and both were made with Barista perfection! My friend had a hot latte and had beautiful latte art- it was really delicious. We also shared the peach coffee cake, which was the best I have ever had- I would buy it again and again if I lived here. Our waitress was also lovely and provided wonderful breakfast service. The following Monday (so less than a week later) we returned as 2 friends had joined us, and we loved it so much- seemed like a perfect idea to return. It started off on an odd foot- our waiter was cold and aloof, which was odd based on prior experiences. The first thing that threw us was my friend ordered a coconut latte (Espresso, whole milk, coconut syrup.) It came out looking suspect, as it had none of the attention to detail we had seen the prior week. It was also bad- not creamy, not coconut. It was not drinkable. We realized when we saw the bill- it was entered as a plain coconut milk latte. (Def not what was ordered.) Although 3 of our entrees were cooked perfectly - my friends eggs benedict arrived raw (it was a scary.) When the waiter finally made his way to us we showed him, he shrugged and asked if they should re make it - we said yes, this is dangerous. It took a VERY long time for my friends entree to be re made (so long that I said I fear they are going to error the other way.) Sadly, I was correct. Essentially it came out as a hard boiled egg in poached egg form. I was really frustrated for her, and I went to speak to someone at the front of house. They were wonderful and made it right and re made her breakfast correctly, but of course now the entire table was done eating. As we walked back to our table she told me that 3 benedict had been returned to the kitchen that am, so something was going on with the chef. They comped my friends meal for transparency. My concern is this place is lovely with wonderful staff and food. What was going on this day? I hope the owners address it because with our first experience we would return again and again, but with the latter experience we would hesitate to return. The restaurant made good on the situation, but we would rather pay for delicious food and wonderful service, as I am sure everyone would. Our first visit would be 5 stars, and the second 3- hence the 4 stars.

The atmosphere and ambience are excellent,…read morethe waitstaff is professional and personable, and the kitchen is consistently quick and efficient. This is a place I've visited several times, and normally I leave extremely impressed. Unfortunately, this visit was slightly different. We ordered the Crispy Chicken & Waffles and the Classic French Omelet. Everything was cooked properly and presented well, but both dishes were surprisingly bland. There simply wasn't enough seasoning or flavor to make either dish particularly memorable. For a restaurant that usually delivers much more, this felt unusually flat. I was also surprised by the portion sizes. I've previously been very happy with the generous portions at Toasted, but both of these dishes felt noticeably smaller than expected. To be clear, nothing was poorly cooked. The problem was execution from a flavor and value perspective. When you have good ingredients and everything is technically cooked correctly, but the finished plate still tastes under-seasoned and leaves you wanting more, something has been missed. This was easily our least impressive visit to Toasted. Every other time has been excellent, so I'm inclined to chalk this one up to these particular menu items rather than the restaurant as a whole.

But today I needed a little extra je ne sais quoi because my morning was annoying, so I decided to splurge on lunch and not just a pastry here. I asked Steve, the (très beau et gentille!) co-owner what the quiche of the day was. There were two: one with jambon (ham) and one with épinards et fromage de chèvre (spinach and goat cheese). When I hesitated, he told me that the spinach one was amazing. Even though it's $20 for a quiche plate, I decided to go for it. I thought I was going to get a sad little quiche slice for that amount and might regret it. But OMG, it was more than worth it! Already they have a lovely patio on this pretty street in this fancy design district. But it was also a HUGE and exceptionally savory rectangular slice, alongside a DELECTEABLE petite salade. I asked Steve what mustard they use in the vinaigrette, and he said plain old Dijon - but the proportions and the seasoning were EXCELLENT. So it was salad perfection, not heavily dressed at all, just delightful. The patio was full on a Friday with ladies who lunch - but did that include me, as a solo diner, since I am a lady who had lunch? I'm not sure, but you can feel comfortable here no matter what. And now I know Madeleine Cafe is much too good to just come for coffee and for ordering in French from Steve or his co-owner Emmanuel. I don't want to spend that much for lunch every day - but I'll be back!
