It's always a good idea to support women owned businesses. Found this spot near my hotel and wanted to try it. The Liquid Bean is nestled in a nicely shaded area in a business complex. There are several parking spots, but limited seating. The menu is simple, but they also offer a variety of coffees, I'd never tried before. I also grabbed a breakfast burrito from their fridge and they heat it up after purchase. It was a bit pricey for a refrigerated burrito ($11). The Açaí bowl was refreshing. They also offer coffee cubes instead of ice (love it), but there's an additional .50 charge per cup and the barista didn't mention it when ordering. I noticed the charge after reviewing the receipt. I'd recommend The Liquid Bean when in the Del Mar area. read more

A cute cafe cart in the office park. Turn into the parking lot just before you've "reached your destination" - it's all free and plentiful on the weekends. The Cafe is easy to find. They have a nice variety of pastries, açaí bowl and other food offerings. I got the avo + egg everything bagel, good but nothing too special. I got the Maca Chocolate latte which was non-caffeinated and it was really good! You could taste the quality of the chocolate and it was very soothing and had a smooth flavor. I also got a regular acai bowl which was just okay. I don't know if it was the combination of both the drink and the acai bowl but it was more on the sweet-side for me. I had the most pleasant experience at this coffee shop. It's tucked back in an office park just off the 101, shaded with many trees and surrounded by sounds of the ocean and trains. I'd never been before, and decided to ask for their recommendations, and I absolutely loved both items. I had some sort of sea salt latte that was some of the best coffee I've ever had, and the crunchy açaí bowl with peanut butter on top was perfect to go along with it. The honey cinnamon latte with oat milk (hot or iced) is my go-to. For seasonal drinks, I enjoy the snickerdoodle latte with less raw sugar. The avocado egg bagel, oatmeal, and açaí bowls are also yummy. It's located in the center of an office area and has seating amongst a garden area. this is my favorite little coffee shop, i feel like it's a hidden gem! stumbled upon it one day after an appointment and come back on any day off that i can. it's about 25 minutes away from me but i still make it back a couple times a month. they get their pastries from a local shop and their coffee is really nice. the prices are pretty average in comparison to other non-chain coffee shops, but i always add the coffee cubes for a little extra. it's usually only two baristas in there but they work relatively fast all things considered. i really would rather it take a couple extra minutes to get the quality that they give. they are super sweet and from what I can tell, have a good amount of "regulars" that seem to really love this place. the surrounding area is super cute as well read more

Such a great little hidden gem in a office complex! The stand is surrounded by a beautiful little tree covered area with a handful of seats which made for a great spot to enjoy our breakfast.
