Stopped by Liquid Bean after a hike at Torrey Pines for some caffeine and a refreshing açaí bowl! I ordered an iced oat chai latte and a crunchy açaí bowl with no coconut. The woman working there was very friendly and had our order our in no time. There are some small tables with seats around, as well as the outdoor greenery area you can sit at. The chai was okay; I prefer something stronger in spice generally. The açaí bowl was delicious though and hit the spot! It is located in an office plaza (?), so location isn't ideal, but if you're around, this is a great spot for a quick bite or drink! read more

Great atmosphere to sit & have a coffee and catch up in an unexpected lot near the fairgrounds. Service was V-E-R-R-Y slow. This was my first time here so it could've been the timing or circumstantial but they make acai bowls which takes away service making coffees if there is a line at the register. After waiting almost 20 minutes for 2 lattes, I noticed that we're about to pour 2% milk in the second drink when both should've been oat so after waiting they had to remake one. That was super quick so I assume the food delayed it in the first place. I saw a couple ask where their macchiato was 3xs. If you like craft, small batch coffee, this is not your place. But for some caffeine, nowhere to be and a mini oasis, this will do. read more

Liquid Bean Cafe is the best coffee shop in Del Mar and likely North County. It's hidden in a quaint garden at a business park and the coffee, açaí bowls, and other food/drinks are delicious. The setting is perfect for reading, journaling, or just meeting friends. I've even seen yoga classes here and sometimes live music to continue to build a community. I love this place and stop by as much as I can. read more

I took my kiddos here a few months ago while we were visiting. What a little gem tucked away between office buildings. The stand it's self is in a great spot with large trees for shade. The gal working the stand was very pleasant and the coffee was delish! My kiddos got açaí bowls and were very happy with them. They are a sorbet açaí, I prefer blended but that's just a personal preference. This spot is worth a stop! read more

The only reason I'm giving them a 4 is because the burrito was smaller than I'm used to. I'm Mexican, so I was thinking BuRRito(roll the R) My wife got the açaí bowl with peanut butter and loved it. I got the sausage burrito. No complaints in flavor, it was delicious. 4/5. You need to be too 5 to get a 5 from me lol Customer service: The lady was very welcoming and kind. 10/10 visit this place if you're a coffee person visiting. I love to try coffee when I go to new places and decided to try them while waiting for an appointment in the area. The coffee was the perfect coffee flavor, not burnt tasting and not fruity. And I was given the option to get coffee ice cubes rather than normal ones, I've never seen this done before, but I love it! Coffee ice cubes don't dissolve as quickly as normal cubes. The location is in a cute little courtyard and the barista was really friendly. read more

This hidden gem is ultra cute. Nestled within a business park just beyond the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Liquid Bean pours great caffeinated sips and yummy acai bowls. When I found this spot online, I wasn't expecting a cart outdoor however the girls and I had a relaxing weekend lounging in their zen inducing garden while enjoying our peanut butter acai bowls. come to this cute little coffee shack!! the workers are so friendly, talkative, and really care about making sure you get the drink you want. i ordered an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was flavorful and perfect!! the bakery items looked great too, especially the muffins! the larger size iced latte was $6.50 which i don't think is too outrageous for a small business in socal! quick walk to the beach, cute seating, great workers, and delicious drinks! read more

Great coffee. Such a beautiful setting in Del Mar. Little garden area with tables spread out. Dog friendly. No ocean view but you get the train passing by. Açaí bowls were delicious. Had no idea this place existed until I was looking on yelp. I will definitely stop by for a coffee while I drive through. Great lil spot by my gym in Del Mar. It's a coffee stand but they choose the very best of brands and then keep an assortment of things to choose from like, VG's donuts, Kombucha drinks, Kind bars, tuna sandos on pumpernickel, breakfast burritos and lunch burritos. Two words... COFFEE CUBES!! ugh they make the coffee delicious, you can ask for coffee cubes instead of ice cubes and it makes such a big difference. Instead of your coffee getting watery as you drink it with regular ice, it actually gets stronger and it taste so good! I get an Iced coconut/vanilla latte with oat milk and coffee cubes, it's simply the best. Love this place so much I actually drive down from Oceanside to get it. They also have delicious breakfast burritos that they heat up in a Panini maker, they are so good and they serve them with salsa! read more

I can't give it 5 stars because it wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting a cafe and it is a stand. The açaí bowl was good but it was a little chilly that day so I couldn't enjoy it as much because we we're sitting outside and I was cold. This place is really charming! The menu was pretty large for the tiny "kitchen" the staff works in. Coffees, smoothies, and quick breakfast/brunch foods - everything was very delicious! The outside garden area is also quaint. I was really impressed! When I'm in the area next, I will definitely be stopping by for some breakfast. I highly recommend! This place is amazing! I got a turkey club wrap and OMG!!!!! It tasted so fresh and healthy. For my drink I got a lavender matcha with oat milk and I would totally recommend. The the mix of lavender and matcha is perfect. My friend got an iced vanilla latte with ESPRESSO CUBES like always it was amazing. Nothing too strong or too sweet. Definitely will be coming back!!! There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. Back in 2019, Starbucks had a seasonal cherry mocha for Valentine's Day that I was obsessed with. Apparently I was the only one, because they haven't brought it back since. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!

I walked by the kitchen and noticed the same type of unkemptness. I always try to take a look at restrooms and kitchens.. if they are clean, they probably do great when it comes to food hygiene.

Always the freshest food and best customer service, not just customer service, a genuine sweetheart who will brighten the dimmest days. Pinpoint has become the social spot of the business complex, had it not been for Caroline half of us working in the area would never know each other.
