I ordered the Avocado Toast. It tasted fresh and had a lot of toppings however, was a bit bland in my opinion. I enjoyed the side salad and dressing. I also tried their scrambled eggs with quinoa. The texture of the egg was grainy and it was also bland. Service was good and restaurant has nice floral decor.

I loved that I could bring my dog, the atmosphere was great, the service was great but the food was mid. I got the chilaquiles and they were good. My friends tried the power bowl and said it was not very flavorful. The avocado toast was decent and my husband said the habanero chicken sandwich was ok.

Really easy to make a reservation ahead and luckily I've been seated right away when with friends/larger groups. Excellent service from the lovely and kind staff as they are very attentive. Great atmosphere and views, while also fun to people watch as many are walking by. Not only is it a great atmosphere, but the food is delicious and so fresh. I really enjoyed their brunch during my last visit. I had their cold brew and power bowl without cheese. The cold brew was absolutely fantastic. I'm not a fan of black coffee but again it was just a fantastic flavor in its own. Needed nothing else. The power bowl was not only delectable but filling as well. Great way to start off your day!

Good food. Beet salad was delicious! Wagyu smashburger hit the spot. Ordered Steak fries on the side. Yum! Food came out fast. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. They have a separate building for the bar. A bit loud as we were seated to a large group. Service was on the slow end when we went.

The restaurant is lovely, it feels like you're stepping into a greenhouse. We started with the onion dip which was a nice way to start the meal. For the main, I went with the meat pie. The pie was delicious and the crust was very flaky, but the fries were not cooked through and we're not crispy. Our server was very friendly, but wasn't anywhere to be seen for most of the meal.

We visited on a Saturday around noon, and the first challenge was parking. Finding a spot in the area was surprisingly difficult, so give yourself extra time if you're coming during peak hours. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and well maintained. We were seated near the bar area, which had a nice atmosphere. Food wise, there were definitely some highlights. The hummus was excellent. Fresh, creamy, flavorful, and easily one of the best things we ordered. The burger was also very good. High quality ingredients, cooked properly, and packed with flavor. The breakfast plate was mixed. The sausage and the rest of the plate were enjoyable, but the biscuit was extremely hard and difficult to eat. The cocktails were pleasant and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service lacked attention to detail throughout the meal. Our hummus arrived before any utensils or napkins were brought to the table. After joking with our server that we must have forgotten our silverware at home, they apologized and eventually brought everything over. The iced tea took multiple requests before it arrived. We had to ask three separate times, and once it finally came, there was no sweetener. We then had to ask again for sweetener before being able to enjoy the drink. None of these issues were major on their own, but together they created a service experience that felt disorganized and inattentive. Overall, the food was good enough that I can understand why people like this place, especially the hummus and burger. However, the service needs improvement, particularly when it comes to paying attention to basic details and responding to requests in a timely manner. I would consider giving it another chance, but mainly because of the food rather than the service.

This review is solely for the food. Server was fantastic and the drink was perfectly fine.. I ordered mussels during happy hour and they were not cleaned properly. I relayed the information to the server and he went and told the kitchen.... apparently the sous chef response was that "the beard is still attached so that the customers know the seafood is fresh." Wild. Updated to 3stars because the manager tracked me down and gave me a gift card

I made a reservation to celebrate my stepdad for Father's Day since he's a big fan of Dunedin when he worked in North Park. The service by Luis was great! I ordered the lamb smash with sweet potato fries and we shared a golden beet salad. Everything tasted delicious and the portion sizing was perfect. The mint dressing was such an interesting piece of the lamb smash burger but so tasty. The views were stunning and could not have been a better dining experience!

The smash Lamberger was very good and big enough to split. The service was also very good. The ambience is windy so they have blankets to cover up. The reason why we gave it only four stars is because we asked for coffee which is five bucks a cup and they gave us an espresso because they weren't making coffee today and it was very bitter and I like black coffee, but not that bitter.

This new location is in a fun area of Del Mar. I stopped in for a glass of wine and to catch a bit of the World Cup games. The bartender was nice and attentive. The new space sparkles with nice decor. The outside seating is great for that ocean breeze and people watching.

Excellent experience at this new Queenstown as usual with all of the e restaurants of this chain. What a nice add to Del Mar! That corner has changed dramatically and I can only see tons of people enjoying food and ambiance there. I love their lamb burger and it was the same flavor and moist and other Queenstowns. Fries were perfect too. Server was adorable and fast. Light is very mellow creating a peaceful atmosphere. Separated there is a bar area where the restrooms are located. They have blankets in case you have to wait outside to get a spot. I am loving it.

Went to La Jolla downtown location, which is a really cute place with lots of greens. Just difficult to find parking. Their meat pies are delish! Though, their burgers would've been better if they come with sides for their price...seemed a bit lonely plated without anything.

Absolutely delicious! Came here on a recent trip to San Diego and stopped by Mia's for lunch…read more We came here around 11:40ish on a Friday and there were already several people here. We did not have a reservation and were seated in the patio. This area is nicely shaded and there was a nice breeze. The sweet hostess recommended Volcano tostadas. We weren't overly hungry but ordered that, Mediterranean ceviche, and shared a Caesar salad. The ceviche arrived first and it was so beautifully presented. We dug in and it was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. Next, the tostadas came and they were equally delicious with perfectly tender and seasoned meat. The salad arrived last and it had the most delicious croutons I've ever had. They were crispy and buttery but not overly hard. Everything was really great from the friendly service to the food. I definitely want to stop by again on the way back!

Mia's came into my life about a year ago. I had been living down South and had moved back up to…read moreNorth County and it was one of the first places I tried when I got back. I was so excited to be back in Encinitas I was literally buzzing and Mia's made my move back a thousand times better. This is the place I recommend to anyone visiting and where I take family and friends every chance I get. It's one of those places that the minute you see it, you smile. And the second you walk in, you never want to leave. It's beautiful and has this Mediterranean sexy and pristine vibe that sucks you in. On to food- I've had most everything on the menu I think by now but I do have some favorites! -Oysters- phenomenal. They come with cucumber lime mezcal mignonette, cilantro and tajin. They are exquisite. They aren't super big ( no one wants an oversized oyster let's be real). I love oysters but if they are too big it ruins it for me. They are the perfect size and as fresh as ever. -Crispy Spanish Octopus- I am very picky with octopus and always hesitant to order it. They crush it here. Like it's not super chewy as it can be. It comes with romesco sauce, yukon (the best) potatoes, spanish chorizo and chimichurri sauce. It's wildly delicious and the only reason I don't order it every time is when I'm with someone that doesn't like octopus and I love to share things but other than that, it's one of my faves. -Hamachi Crudo- This one is so incredibly fresh and light but somehow so satisfying at the same time. It's made with mango citrus tiger's milk (uh huh), charred mango, avocado, jalapeno, cilantro, milk -Squash Blossom Quesadilla- I usually prefer to order pretty light but I came in famished beyond belief and saw this on the menu. Unreal. It's made with squash blossom, Chihuahua cheese, Oaxaca cheese, roasted poblano peppers, fire roasted tomatillo salsa, cotija, cilantro, green onion. We added chicken to it. It was SO good. And even though it was ya know, heavy-ish as it's a quesadilla, I didn't want to nap after. It was somehow still light which I loved. The tacos are all great, small so order a few! Empanadas are fire- I'm not even an empanadas person but they are extremely addicting. And the ahi club I had recently, split it with a friend and was perfect because it's a giant piece of ahi. It's not like the kind where the bread takes over. There is actually girth there, it's super fresh and so good. Drinks- I am also picky with margaritas. I feel like a lot of times they swim in sugar, have unnecessary ingredients and I get heartburn just looking at them LOL Not here. They are definitely my favorite in San Diego and I'm not just saying that. They have a few different kinds, I've had them all and they are all divine. My favorite is probably the carrot passionfruit. I try not to gulp it down and actually enjoy it-it's that good. It's also healthy so I tell myself I'm not drinking alcohol ha. The aguachile is amazing if you like a little spice and it's cucumber-esque so it's very refreshing. The coconut is unreal if you like coconut and it's not too sweet like you may picture. The classic marg is also one I get often. I actually love them all equally as they all offer something different depending on my mood! They have live music Wed and Fri 4:30-7:00 PM ( pretty sure! lol) Treat yourself and go experience pure bliss.

Artichoke 8/10, onion rings 9/10, and wedge salad 9/10. We ordered the Executive Steak Platter, which was probably the biggest disappointment. 7/10 -- the steaks were under-seasoned and significantly underdone from what we ordered. Not bad, but I expected more. The au gratin potatoes were 11/10 and easily the best thing we ate. Absolutely fantastic. The broccolini, on the other hand, was 2/10 and way too vinegary for us. Desserts were mixed. Cheesecake was 7/10. Butter cake was 4/10 and had a strange taste we didn't care for. Cocktails were excellent overall, 9/10. The Rare Old Fashioned was 10/10 and the best drink of the night, Lady Luck 9/10, and espresso martini 8/10. Cool spot with some legitimately great dishes and drinks, but the inconsistency--especially with the steak--keeps it from being a top-tier steakhouse experience for me.

I ordered a margarita, Ceasar salad, NY strip, and the Au gratin. Came in on a Monday at 5:30pm. First the service- each time I've been there the service has been slow. I've worked in the food industry when I was younger so I'm pretty lenient and forgiving. While I immediately got a water as soon as I sat, it took a while to see my server. I put in my whole order at once. I got a drink 30min later. From sitting to my food arriving it took 2 hours. My server checked on us once toward the end of the meal. (Yes I still tipped 20%) The Ceasar- a lot of Parmesan which I'm not complaining. Homemade croutons. Heavy on the dressing which is good, but if you don't like soggy lettuce beware. 6.5/10 The Steak- I ordered the $70 NY strip Medium. 2 hours later I was served my food. Y'all it was dry! And very bland/not seasoned. Like I couldn't even taste any salt! (And I am not hard to please). It came out on the medium well side. Woof it was a let down. 6/10 (it's edible?) Au gratin- I mean.. it was potatoes? It was a little burnt on the top, couldn't really taste the truffle, but potatoes are always welcome in my book (7/10) Overall- I really tried to give it an honest second chance. But for mediocre food and slow service I just can't understand the hype. For ambiance I'd go to Steak 48. For a darn good steak I'd go to Cowboy Star over here..
