Stadium at the end - Exterior view of Highmark Stadium at night, showing the illuminated 'Highmark Stadium' sign on the building. The entrance has a ticket booth with a window and a gated entryway. The area is lit by outdoor lighting, and the surrounding pavement is visible. The sky is dark, and the scene captures the stadium's main entrance area.

This used to be the place to go in Pittsburgh for nightlife and dining. Now, it's still a place to go but it seems like the nightlife leaves a little early during the week. The mall seems like you're walking through something that's been closed for a while. There are a few restaurants around that still do pretty well. I think there may have been one or two bars that were open later during the week. Sad to see but still a decent dining destination and there are some beautiful views of the city from here.

I've been here a few times, it's an interesting little restaurant area, with a hotel along the waterfront. There's a large pay parking lot, which would be nicer if it were free or validated. It's quite a walk from the lot to the restaurants. Not bad, nit my favorite place to come though.

Haven't been here for years and it has changed so much. What a great place to take in City views, people watch and enjoy the water show. There are numerous restaurants and activity going on everywhere.

My son just moved there. Process smooth, amenities great. Nice place to start professional life. T line to downtown, boats to Steelers games, close to inclines to mt Washington and if you are cyclists, home of Annual Dirty Dozen omg love this up and coming, diverse location.

I think this is a decent place to hang out because it has river views, skyline views, dancing waters, trains and some places to eat. I just wish it was a little more vibrant and active. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a ghost town. Additionally, even though it is fairly clean, it just seems a little run down. There are always some closed businesses that make the place look like it's on its last legs. There are some major renovations taking place at the older building across the street from the dancing waters, Joe's Crab, etc. Hopefully that will draw more people here. As it is, I will still continue to come here because I like the views of the city. I've eaten at most of the restaurants around here and they are fine. It's easy to get to from downtown either walking or even taking the train. With a little polish, this place could be a jem!

I'm a bit cautious about posting a review because it was almost 25° out when we visited in the evening here. Personally this was my first visit ever however my spouse has grown up in Pittsburgh. As such she has been here but countless times. It's during pandemic and lots of people are taking this seriously and masking up, No doubt behaving in a manner that shuts everything down quite a bit. I'm not debating whether it's correct to be serious or not. Just that the conditions were not natural for evaluating beyond a certain point. I can comment that when my spouse and daughter approached a public restroom... They found it locked. Over an intercom speaker and security guard surprise them by explaining how to get in with the security code. Afterwards my spouse walked over to the security station and had a short conversation with thanks to the guard. It's nice to know that somebody was watching probably several cameras to ensure everything was okay. It's affirmative when you witness something confirming the case for safety in the mid evening during pandemic. So it's easy to interpret the basic core value for this place. You've got several known and established dining venues. I walked into the Sheraton hotel to make use of their restroom... It seems nice enough and if it were busy and slightly better kept Id count it as first rate. On the merits of location and waterfront views alone it would be no less than four stars is Parking looked ample... And the waterfront views off the boardwalk were classic first rate experiences. So why four stars and not five or three. In my estimation five stars goes to a visiting experience that is almost second to none. Three stars would be a place that's okay to visit but not necessarily hitting on all cylinders so to speak. Here it's a solid four stars.

Nice stopping point for bicycling along the GAP trail/river for a little shopping, dining indoors or out, drinking, and on certain summer nights, music. You can also walk a short distance to take one of the inclines to the top of Mt. Washington.

Sadly, you have need to come here unless you have a specific reason to be here, or you like looking at abandon shops inside of a small mall. There are a handful of stores inside and a school- you know your mall is failing when it becomes a church or a school. There are a few bars, but nothing major. Again, I feel like only people staying at the hotel next to it would visit here only because it's so close. Now there are a few other restaurants outside of the mall like The Hard Rock Cafe and Texas De Brazil, but nothing really catches your eye as a place you really want to stop at. The Ducky Tour begins and ends there so there is that. What's sad is the area itself is kind of nice. They installed that beautiful fountain that plays to music, like the Belliago in Vegas, but with much less flare. It's upsetting because this could be an amazing place, but it just isn't. You don't need to come here if you're visiting, spend your time at more interesting places because there are a ton in the city.

I enjoy many of the restaurants. Current entertainment includes AMC movie theater, Barnes & Noble bookstore, Dave & Buster's, Improv comedy club, Paint Monkey, and Urban Air Adventure Park. Other current businesses are a few banks, a few hotels, some cell-phone stores, a gym, and healthcare providers (e.g., dental and vision). As you can see, this shopping center has numerous options for different types of customers to eat a meal, go shopping, and be entertained. This shopping center does not contain all of my favorite stores, but I like it more than most other shopping centers in the Pittsburgh area. Their employees never asked for my birthday when setting up my profile, which meant I never received the birthday gift cards they advertise. When I contacted the store to correct it and asked for the past year's missed offer, the owner (Tom Michael) refused, even though the mistake was caused by their own staff. Instead of honoring the gift card I should have received, I was only offered a donation made "in my name" to a charity. While that may sound generous, it doesn't solve the original problem, and it left me feeling like the store wasn't willing to take responsibility for their own oversight. It was a very small request and could have been resolved easily with good customer service, but it wasn't. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend shopping here or trying to resolve any issues directly with the owner. There are plenty of other stores that value their customers and stand behind their promotions.

I forgot how full-price it was... it's almost as if it's more than what the brand itself costs. One doesn't see that these days... The selection here is decent for a store of its size, if not a little rando. It feels somewhat curated but there's enough variety of brands to choose from to make the visit worth it for that... The issue was the service. We walked in and were almost immediately accosted by a salesman: Salesperson: "Hi welcome in, can I help you find something? What brings you in?" Me: "No thanks, just here to browse..." S: "OK what brings you to town? Business or visiting family?" Me: "Just on a quick trip thanks, we'll look over here" S: "What kind of business are you in?" Me: "Different things..." S: "So are you here for meetings?"... And so on--the guy literally followed us closely as we made our way from one end of the store to another. He stopped when I was looking at something, at which point another salesperson came up and asked the same salvo of questions Guy number one came back and started up again "so are you staying nearby?..." We were literally chased out of the store by its salespeople. Here's a better script for them: "Salesperson: Hi, my name is X, welcome to Larrimor's" Me: "No thanks, just here to browse..." "Salesperson: sounds good, just let me know if I can help you find anything" Hounding customers and charging more than the designers themselves is not a great way to do business these days, but I'm keeping four stars out of respect for a longtime Pittsburgh institution. Maybe next time I can look around in peace!
