Banksville Plaza is a small strip mall. Current businesses include Kuhn's grocery store, Supercuts,…read moreStarbucks, Subway, PNC Bank, H&R Block, T-Mobile, a nail salon, and a couple of other small businesses. The only businesses that I consider visiting are the PNC for the ATM if necessary and the Kuhn's for snacks if necessary. Otherwise, I drive to other retail centers for easier access to and a greater selection of products and services. As other reviewers have already commented, the parking lot is small, and it can be challenging to pull in and out of spaces. Furthermore, this mall is right next to Banksville Road, which often has very busy traffic. I have not experienced major problems with other vehicles, but I can understand how other customers do.

Why only one star? The traffic patterns are horrendous. Accidents happen on a more than normal…read morebasis. Cars fly by to get an empty parking space, not stopping if you're backing out of your space. And God forbid if you're trying to get to a store and someone is trying to get to an open space, they'll run you down! Why? Kuhn's, old people love to shop at Kuhn's. You know the type, if it's an old man driving, all you see is the hat, and if it's an old lady all you see is her hands at the ten and two position on the steering wheel. And God love them, they only know one speed, EMPTY SPOT NEAR KUHN'S!!! GUN IT MARTHA! Seriously, the parking lot is bad, but not a bad strip mall. Starbucks, Namaste, PNC Bank, Subway, Whiskey Hollow Grill, Kohli's Indian Market, Super Cuts, Radio Shack and H&R Block are also located here.

This mall is super-broke down. Do not go to this mall with kids. Let me give you a breakdown of…read morewhy: 1. Upon entering mall went to family bathroom with two small kids, but no toilet paper 2. Came into mall in food court (2nd floor). Tried to get to 1st floor to get hot chocolate for kids, but mall elevator and escalators broken. 3. Went into JCPenny and used elevator to get to 1st floor, but gate between JCPenny and mall was broken, which prevented me from getting back into the mall from 1st floor. 4. Wanted to let kids ride coin-fed machines such as small carousels and horse, but change machine broken Check out this news article that aligns with my experience. This mall is headed down a dark path. Very sad. https://www.cbsnews.com/pittsburgh/news/michael-kohan-mall-owner-washington-robinson/

I've been coming to this mall since it first opened and I've been here a decent amount of times…read moreover the years. It's not even close to being my favorite mall in the Pittsburgh metro area, but it is nice. There are approximately 120 stores with a wide variety of men's and women's apparel, footwear, speciality, small local businesses, jewelry, home decor, etc. They have one of my favorite Dick's Sporting Goods. It's one of their three anchor stores, two story and loaded with stuff. Macys and JC Penney are their other two anchor stores. The food court has around 10 places to eat. It really isn't that great to be honest, but they do have a couple decent options. It's a shame they don't have a place for pizza. FYI: there are plenty of good places to eat and drink right outside of the mall in the parking lots and in the surrounding area of it There is always plenty of parking as I rarely ever see this mall packed unless it's around the holidays. The customer service always seems to be good and you can definitely find some good deals depending on the time of year. Enjoy :)

Now they have and it's a fun place to go shop, eat and drink. My favorite places in there are Novo Food Hall, Askin Brewery, Heibers, City Winery and Shake Shack. You can get something quick to eat if you lack time before an event at Shake Shack. They have great burgers. Novo is a great place to go and try out all different things from all different Asian foods from Japan, Korea and the Philippines. We've tried several different places and had lots of great dishes. If you need a drink and some good food to wash it down then Aslin is the place to go. They even have trivia nights which are lots of fun. I love going to concerts and City Winery is a fun spot to see a show because it's a small venue which has no bad seats. We have seen. Comedians and concerts there. If you pay in cash at the venue, you can avoid the fees. You can go there for a fun afternoon or a great evening with friends and family.

The Terminal is…read moreright down the street from where I work, and one day I went to grab lunch at Chipotle, not realizing what I was about to walk into. The building itself is pretty unassuming. Utalitarian like most Pittsburgh buildings. But the Terminal houses such an eclectic collection of places that it's almost absurd. Back to back you can find wine, ice cream, books (SUPPORT YOUR INDEPENDENT BOOKSELLERS!), VR game rooms, a facial salon (giggity), an Asian food hall, independent beer brewers... There's literally a little of everything. The Terminal is the sort of place where you intend to go for one thing and spend the rest of the hour wandering looking at cool stuff. If you have an afternoon to kill, it's definitely worth a look.
