We shared a Pepperoni Pizza and I got the Tuscan soup. The crust was a bit too moist, but the pepperonis are huge. The good: Pizza was great! Loved the concept, order at the bar and grab a table. The not great: There was an older couple at the table next to us. He had a hearing aid and spoke loudly to the server who dropped off their food. She immediately became defensive and caused a scene asking why he was yelling at her. He wasn't. The food is always great here at Station 66, however, the service suffers and the customer experience is ruined by food not coming out in time and rude servers. I have Ben coming to Route 66 for the past 2 years and I have been treated disrespectful on a number of occasions by staff who cannot seem to get the kitchen staff together. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant today and after we ordered 2 pizzas people behind us were told food would take 1 1/2 hours! After a long day of traveling and visiting the Grand Canyon, we stopped here based on good reviews to grab pizza for our family of seven. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were told not to order unless we found a table. After we found one, we asked if someone could clean it and were initially told no with an attitude by the lady behind the counter. The employee later apologized and had someone wipe it down, which we appreciated. We were told the wait for food would be about 45 minutes, which we were completely fine with. However, several interactions with the employee at the register who was also a hostess and waitress, were unnecessarily rude. My daughter politely asked if they had a honey sauce and was rudely dismissed. After waiting about 40 minutes, we noticed a family who came in after us had already been served. When I politely asked how much longer our order would be, the response was extremely rude as though I was annoying her. One pizza was then dropped off/ slammed at our table very abruptly. I was shocked by the behavior but then politely asked for plates. The same young lady/employee then spoke to me in a very disrespectful and demeaning tone in front of my family. I asked to speak with a manager or owner because the behavior was unacceptable. While an apology was eventually given, the interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable. My family understands how difficult customer service jobs can be, and we were patient and respectful the entire time. We also tipped generously before even receiving our food. Unfortunately, the way we were treated made us feel unwelcome and, at times, discriminated against. One of the pizzas was also undercooked. They keep changing the menu and it's gotten really bad. The new macaroni with pico is yuck. The southwest salad is seasonal and their Caesar salad is terrible. It was my birthday and we went to Station 66 we both ordered lasagna and an order of cheese bread. 35 minutes later my friend went up asked they said some crap and it will be out soon. 40 minutes later came out the cheesey bread and one order of lasagna I had my friend take it. 45 minutes later I said shitty birthday go cancel my order, she did and 5 minutes later came my food. I said this was my birthday dinner and it should not take 50 minutes to get my food separate from my friend NO take it away. The girl came back to say we refunded everything no charge. This is THE place to go in Williams. I've visited twice; once on my first visit, the second because my partner and I missed their food and had to take a road trip back. Highly recommend their baked Mac n Cheese with buffalo chicken as well as the margherita Pizza. Their strawberry margarita was also top tier. The service has always been amazing as well, which makes the experience that much better. The team has never let me down. There are no substitutions permitted for the pizzas. Classic rock played over the speakers throughout our visit. I tried the prickly pear margarita and the funghi pizza. The margarita was excellent with a nice blend of flavors. The distribution of goat cheese and mushrooms was uneven, but the bites of pizza with all flavors together were delectable. We ordered the side salad, classic Tuscan soup, and pepperoni pizza to share. The salad was fresh and it came with a side of lemon vinaigrette dressing. The soup had large pieces of potatoes and was spicy which we liked. The pizza was cheesy, had good flavor, it was a touch greasy and could have been cooked a little more for a crispier crust. I tried to stop in for a meal at Station 66 for dinner and it was crowded and chaotic. There was only outside seating and it was a cold December night so I chose to go elsewhere. I still really wanted to try it and was craving pizza so I went back after a long day at the Grand Canyon. This time it was about 3:00 so a late lunch/ early dinner. Even at this off time it was still pretty busy but some tables were available. The tricky part is you have to find a seat, then order at the bar. Unfortunately, the order system got messed up and they didn't realize right away so I waited quite a while for my food. It was almost an hour and a half by the time my food came. The bartender/host did apologize and brought me a cider on the house. Food/Drink: Prickly pear cider Cheese bread Pepperoni Pizza The sauce was so good! Even though it was a good it was a little on the heavy side, it was falling on to the plate with every bite I took. Very cheesy! The dough seemed slightly undercooked. The pepperoni were big and tasty, I wish it was a little more crispy. The cheese bread was better a few hours later after all of the olive oil was able to be soaked up. Very heavy on the olive oil.
