It's been at least 3-4 years since I'd been to Station 300. I understand they're under new ownership which is evident by the condition of bowling alley. They still have their arcade area with prizes, the bar/lounge area with food, but something was slightly different. They had all new lounges/chairs and tables near the alley. The scoring is better and fully automated. The lanes were in good shape. Lots of video screens and TV's for guidance and entertainment. The ball return was much faster than it was the last time I was there. Less jams (none while we were there) than last time as well. The rest rooms were very clean. I'll be back again this week. Maybe I'll try the food next time. read more

Fun place! I have bowled here twice now and enjoyed the experience. They also offer an arcade and restaurant. We were actually going to eat at the restaurant but it was packed for trivia night on Thursday evening. While bowling we were able to order from a counter. Not all of the same food that is offered at the restaurant but pretty good. We had pepperoni pizza and loaded fries. Both were good! The people next to us had loaded nachos and those also looked good. The night we were there some of the lanes were closed for a private party. They actually put a blind up. I've also been on a Wednesday and it seemed there was a league there. Just be mindful when planning a trip here :) read more

I'm surprised at all the bad ratings for this place because I've been here several times over the past couple of years and have always had a great time. I've never seen a bad crowd there, mostly just families. Food is always good and drinks are even better. The funky pirate is delicious. My son loves it and asks to go all the time. If it wasn't so far and didn't cost so much to play games, we would go more. If I did have to say anything negative, it would be that the arcade is expensive, but that's to be expected with any arcade. read more

Great sports bar inside of a bowling alley. I lost count of the number of TVs but there were more than enough for everyone to see what was going on in their favorite sport. The staff was friendly and attentive. I Sat at the bar and the server took my drink order quickly and ask my name and put it into the register. It seemed that the main bartender was Logan. He kept himself extremely busy and occupied watching out for customers. He picked up my name from the register and called me by it or evening. I ordered a couple of beers which were fine. Also were personal pizza which had a nice flavor to it Good sauce and the dough was not sweet. Also ordered mild wings. Great flavor in the sauce and the wings were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Great bowing facility but a little far to drive if you are visiting Hilton Head. The lanes seemed very well maintained and we were pleased with an afternoon special, 2 hours of unlimited bowling for under $10. Call before you go as when they have leagues, there may not be any open lanes available. I was disappointed in the food item I purchased but when I addressed it with the staff, my concern was quickly handled in a professional way. Way to go Station 300! read more

I was one of the first people to enter station 300 when it first opened. It was so fun when I was a child and had many fun games, bowling areas, food, etc. But now it has been packed since Bluffton has gotten such a big population recently the station 300 itself has gone bizarre. This is not good for kids and it's not good for people that want to go there and have fun. There are many people smoking in the bathroom and teenagers sneaking out. I recommend going early at times when you can. Station 300 isn't safe for kids and I recommend going earlier. read more

My kids won't stop asking to go back!!! This is a really cool place. I went here with my kids because my work was hosting a "Employee Appreciation Day" event and families were invited. They chose here because it's a fun family atmosphere. I can't really comment on prices because my work was footin the bill. I will say my family had a blast. There is a modern bowling area with screens at the end of every lane playing music videos. Selena Gomez kind of stuff. Then there is another area that has tons of games. Like "Dave and Busters" or "Chuck E Cheese" where you win tickets for little prizes. There's another area with food, but I didn't go over there because my work bought the food and we ate while bowling. It was a fantastic time! A must for the family. I would love this place if they had bowling balls that fit out hands! Neither my husband nor I can bowl there because the balls stick to our fingers, and we both have normal sized hands. Otherwise, this place is new, beautiful, great food. But it's supposed to be a bowling alley! Can you invest in more than 1 size for men and 1 size for women? All people are not the same. read more

The bartender and food restaurant employees were great. The bowling was fun. However, the white male with the longer brown hair at the redemption counter was the rudest employee I've ever met. Half of the games in there short you your tickets or don't work. Not worth the money at all. When I told the kid that he shorted my tickets he asked how much and I just told him not to worry about it Becasue I wasn't sure just letting him know. He handed me my card back and started helping people who had just walked up like we weren't going to get anything. We waited and he called his coworker out (the guy with the mullet), he was very nice, and helped my sister. My sister went back to get my prizes Becasue at this point I'm over it. She asked him for a board game and as soon as he got it down he turned his back to her and started talking to his coworker. Not even acknowledging the rest of her tickets on the card. read more

Let me start by saying that my first experience having drinks and food with friends here went extremely well, Logan was a great server and we had no problems getting our orders placed and delivered. It probably would have rated 4-Stars... The bowling alley is new and arcade is well stocked and efficient. My second experience however was atrocious at best. A bartender with a half filled bar (drinking mostly bottled beer) should never take 20+ minutes to get five people their drinks. She took one drink order at a time, made the drink, came back and took another... you can definitely see how that could add some time to the process, especially when three of us were ordering the same mixed drink. She milled around the bar, not making eye contact with any of the bar guests. Next, and I know it is South Carolina, and no one watches Hockey down here, but I do... and as a prior bartender myself, I tip well for those that I see making accommodations for their guests. I asked 5 different times, among three different sets of ears, and it took 30+ minutes to change one of the Tvs to the playoff game I REALLY wanted to watch. It was on NBC, I told them the channel, and I could really just tell the bartender didn't care, or legitimately had a hard time remembering anything more than one drink order at a time. My friends at one point, realizing how frustrated I was getting, began having their own conversations, at louder volumes, about how much they wanted to watch the hockey game... only so one of the staff would overhear and make it happen. When our bowling lane was open, and we were looking to tab-out, she never made a trip to our side of the bar, for over 20 minutes (with an empty glass I might add) I waited for my bill, or a mere glance so I could get her attention... Life got better once we started bowling, the waitstaff for the lanes was quite attentive and took good care of us. Now we just know to avoid the actual bar, a shame, because they normally have good bands playing. read more

The attitude of the employees and consistently being told we cannot bowl because we do not belong to a league or a "private party" makes me question why are they open to the public. Seems to me from the information we are given by the staff they are an exclusive establishment and do not service everyone within the community. read more

Disappointing encounter with restaurant manager. Philly Cheesesteak should have cheese, served with no cheese. Waitress was told by kitchen they were low on cheese. My wife tried to eat half sandwich. Asked the waitress to take the sandwich of the check, manager refused. Spoke to restaurant manager, again he refused because some of the sandwich had been eaten, blamed customer. Arrogant guy, poorly managed the situation. Between take out, bowling, bar and arcade family spends $200+ a month at 300, not anymore. Bar tenders are great and I'll miss them. read more

Good luck trying to get to bowl here! No detailed schedule listed online, just says Early PM and Late PM and once we arrived were told no lanes available due to league. Said Fri-Sun is the best bet to get a lane. Why not have dedicated lanes for people that aren't on a league that want to bowl? read more

1st time here and we loved it! Great prices and atmosphere. Very clean and the staff kept up with the messes left behind by rude families. The bowling included the price of the shoes (fantastic!) and the lanes and score boards were entertaining. Loved the music playing too. The arcade was just as great. Out family visiting from NC got a real kick out of the laser line game. Will go back each time they visit! Only bad thing was my sisters frozen drink from the bar. No taste and little if any alcohol was in it. :-( read more

The bowling was great and the bartenders and food service staff are awesome, however the employee at the front desk checking out bowling was rude. We let it go as to not ruin our family outing and had a blast bowling. Afterwards we did some games. After spending almost $100 on games for my family half of the games shorted tickets that we waited for to completely "count" and then after being over the ticket not going on our card we called it quits and went over the the redemption counter to let my 3 year old pick out toys. Out of the three employees working the counter only one of them seemed like they cared about their job. The other two probably shouldn't be working in customer service as they they took my card scanned one item handed my card back and refused to acknowledge that I was still there. this was a great experience. we came here for the fight and Grace was our server. she was such a good time dealing with us and made sure we were good every 10-15 min. she let us enjoy ourselves while coming back at the perfect time to get us another round. the food was amazing as we munched throughout the night and we had a great time! Really nice that they're open during Covid, however, the constant eye roll, disrespect, and attitude makes it not worth coming. When I walked in the girl didn't even speak to me, she turned right around and got the male worker. Then, when asked if we could play another game, she huffed and threw her hands in the air. This review is primarily for Zeppelin's, the bar & grill at Station 300. Great wings & other food. No kidding around. Drinks were reasonably priced & there were some good specials. There seems to be some good nightly specials on the lanes if you hit it right. (I think Monday & Tuesday?) Station 300 is a clean, shiny new facility, it was a great place to bring our kids. I would lose the TV screens over every single lane. Do we need to see a TV image every single place we look? Whatever. Nonetheless, a welcome change from all the crappy, beat-down establishments I encounter in the Northeast. I give Station 300 four stars and my bowling average zero stars. read more

Came in on a Wednesday afternoon excited to pass some time with my boyfriend and was BUMMED to hear that all lanes were closed until 9:30 for leaguers. Looks like an awesome place to hang out though ! For kids and adults (looked like a bunch of people were hanging out at a nice looking bar). It was 5:30 and all but two lanes were empty. A very friendly employee did notice that my boyfriend and i were hanging around trying to figure out what to do (were not from the area) and walked over with two free vouchers for next time we have a chance to come back. Station 300 and Zeppelins should be two separate attractions. If I was rating Zeppelins (the restaurant), I would give it a 5. If I was just rating Station 300 (bowling), I would give it a 1. On two occasions, I got turned away by the clerk. One time was because there was a league bowling, and another time because they were "preparing the lanes" for a league that would be starting in an hour and a half. Make sure you call ahead!!! This will save you from getting there and be embarrassingly turned away. The bowling center caters far more to the leagues than to individuals wanting to bowl without a league. I am in a league, and just wanted to get in some practice before it started. It seems like there is a league every evening and night other than Friday and Saturday. This makes it very difficult to bowl for those of us that work in an industry where we typically don't get weekends off. This brings me to my next point. When I did get a weekend off, I tried to bowl on a Saturday night. Station 300 makes NO attempt (zero!) at enforcing rules, regulations, and common courtesies of bowling. I shared a lane with a family who though the entire family (all six of them) could go stand at the foul line together the entire time. They also didn't seem to notice that people were bowling on the lane next to them. When looking down the alley, it was clear that kids, families, and couples alike were all over the lanes (even when not up to bowl). I understand it is meant to be fun, but if it is hard to practice bowling at any other time, they should at least have some control over their facility on the weekends. Zeppelins food and atmosphere is great. The food and Joe the bartender are why I would return. read more

Just came to Station 300 for the first time. Drove 1/2 hour to get here. We checked their website in advance, it indicated they were not busy. We called to ask a question and they then said just come on in. We arrived to be told league play was starting in 30 minutes and their are three parties waiting for a lane. Another woman arrived and was told the same thing she was equally as disappointed because she was here on Sunday with a large group of kids and was told there was nothing special going on. She arrived to Special Olympics occupying all of the lanes. I think they need better communication via their website and their phone. Will not bother to return read more
